Faith & Flower
We took our daughter for her 18th birthday celebration for brunch with 9 of her friends.
Ambiance was amazing! Food was great. Service was incredible. General manager was super friendly and accommodating to us (including arriving late and still saving our table). Would absolutely return again.
Nice for groups. Will take reservation for 10+ people without jumping through hoops. Did a company dinner here. Everyone loved the food and drinks
This was our second visit. We enjoyed excellent service at the bar and in the dining room. The lamb past, agnolotti, scallops and other dishes were excellent. Tasty cocktails too. Thank you!
Everything was going well until I asked for bit more decaf coffee. Twice. No luck, no excuse, no service.
Restaurants that serve boutique cocktails rarely have enough bar staff to be able to produce multiple cocktails for table servers and tend the bar for bar patrons...Faith and Flower is one of them, if you want to drink at the bar before dinner be prepared to wait a for a long time for a cocktail, I'm not against the multi ingredient cocktail I just wish the bartenders were supported better when the bars are very busy.
Restaurant was bright and lively, our appetizers were a little heavy on dressing and sauces, so missed the flavors of the main ingredients, Our mains were good albeit a little overly salty on the puree mash potatoes with the spare rib. Wine service was good, overall a good downtown restaurant, not going to rush back but I would go again if asked.
Incredible ambiance and the waiter was so wonderfully attentive and accommodating towards a guest that had major food allergies. Highly recommend.
The food was soooooo incredible. The different flavors you experience is beyond. Our waiter was a little pushy to order more.. (of course to increase his tip) but we ordered a few apps and 1 dish per person to share together. Noise level was a bit high w the large rooms and talking.. but ambiance was beautiful. Can’t wait to go back!
Great service and very attentive. The food was amazing!
The food was alright but nothing memorable. The highlight was the porcini ravioli and the braised short rib was least standout dish. The dining room is beautiful and our server was nice, but the restaurant’s inability to correctly process my dining reward left an overall bad taste in my mouth.
We always have lunch at F&F before heading to FIDM museum exhibits. Service is ALWAYS EXCELLENT. Food and drinks are good to great! They are most accommodating if we have any issues at all. All and all truly a lovely dining experience and would highly recommend.
Great place. Food was very slow in coming out but great service. Thanks !
Great LA spot for good food with friends and colleagues. It’s ideally located close to the LA convention center. Both indoor and outdoor seatings creates a nice ambiance. Service is very good.
Went with 2 colleagues for an annual tradition at a national meeting. All around very good, did not quite live up to the hype of an enthusiastic review. The agnolotti with beef in a “Marrow” sauce was good but not transforming. Same for my English milk punch. It also was not as expensive as billed and I would be happy to return.
I really like this restaurant. Service is very good. Coachtails are well made. Food is great.
Service was very slow and less than optimal. The ambiance and decor was very nice. Food was delicious!
Dinner before going to the theater. Staff was great in accommodating our timeliness for making our theater tickets. Ambience was nice and the food was excellent.
Found some food stuck on the napkin. Ick. Food was okay. Small plates. Nothing super outrageous or super bad.
We had a wonderful dining experience at this delicious downtown restaurant. The food was amazing, the decor was charming and our server and sommelier were incredible. Will definitely be returning on my next trip to LA.
Everything we ordered tasted amazing! We had the crab toast, oxtail, mushroom risotto, sea bass, NY steak tartare, and all the desserts on the menu.
Open table needs to update their menu for this restaurant
Great corner spot in DTLA. We had a large group and the menu featured something for everyone. The food was great as was the bourbon list with some hard to find bottles with reasonable prices. The GM, Anthony, came out to talk with us and was a great guy!!
We had a lovely table in the back of restaurant. The food was very good. We were celebrating my daughters birthday. The waitress brought a lovely panacotta dessert at the end of our meal. The only negatives were that one of our guests ordered the French Toast and the kitchen ran out and our drink order wasn’t taken until after our meal order was taken and we realized we didn’t order beverages. We had to get our waitress back for that but she got them to us quickly. Also a 3% kitchen fee was put on our check at the end which we have never seen before. That was crazy because the food is all ready priced high. But all in all we had a nice experience.
Beautiful space and delicious brunch plates that we shared family style.
Always great service and terrific food and cocktails.
Our server was super attentive and helpful and everything he recommended was delicious. He really helped make our anniversary special!
We sat outside in their front patio area, which turned out to be better as it was really loud inside and we enjoyed a really delicious dinner. Everything was delicious but the Red Wine Braised Short Rib was my favorite. We also got and loved the Thai Snapper Carpaccio, the Deviled Jidori Eggs, the Winter Vegetable Crudité Salad, the broccoli and the ribeye, which was juicy and perfectly cooked and had a delicious sauce.
The sommelier gave us a fantastic recommendation of a delightful grenache after listening to what we were looking for, a more full body pinot. It's a shame the inside is as loud as it is because the restaurant is beautiful but it's fun for certain occasions and the vibe was really exciting. We'll try it during the week next time and sit inside, we went on a Saturday.
We had dinner for four at Faith & Flowers on a recent Saturday evening. While the food was really interesting and quite good the noise level was awful. We were seated in the back room with 2 large parties nearby and I’m sure they were having a wonderful time ... but it was very difficult for the four of us to carry on a conversation.
When we had made the reservation the only availability was a high top but we stopped by the restaurant on Saturday afternoon to see if there was a possibility of moving us to a regular table. The young lady with whom we spoke was delightful and said she would try to accommodate us. Perhaps the area we ended up in was just a fluke! Maybe all nights are not so noisy!
We’ll try again next time we’re in LA.
Loved this experience. Great food, beautiful restaurant, wonderful service.
Every dish was very flavorful. Some of the best food I’ve ever had. Great ambiance. Highly recommend.
Enjoyed our dinner. Lovely date place with great service and amazing food.
We were amazed by our first visit to Faith and Flower...the ambiance food and service were all excellent - and we will definitely be back!!
The bartender , Adam, was wonderful. All the employees were friendly and courteous. The restrooms were clean. My problem was that the menu, consisting of small plates meant for sharing, was very limited. They have a raw bar, but I’m allergic to shellfish. The only fish selection was served with clams and their broth. No bueno. My husband doesn’t eat beef and I don’t care for faux meat, leaving one pork and one chicken entree available.
Food was excellent, noise level was a bit high couldn’t really hear my conversation. Overall loved the ambiance.
Beautiful setting and delicious food! Will definitely be back in the future :)
Great atmosphere! Great food! Great service - Anil was very friendly and helpful!
My birthday lunch was pretty special because the hostess(Soucy) was! She was friendly, professional and an asset to Faith and Flower! I had the Oxtail Angotti Pasta and my husband had the trout. Both were very tasty but if I have to admit it, we felt the portions were small. The yellowtail ceviche was decent and the chips were crispy and 😋
The food selection is semi-limited, there may be more cocktails than food options! But we still enjoyed what we had. Between the two of us, we had Crab Toast, Sea Bass, Mushroom Ravioli, and Mushroom Risotto and it came out to about $115. There was more than enough food, and the decor of the restaurant is beautiful! I hope to be back soon!
Faith & Flower was highly recommended by a friend that lives in LA. We had a reservation, but when we checked in, it appeared they didn't have a table inside for us. Our only option was an outside table which was fine, but definitely took away from the ambiance. It also seemed to make you not part of the restaurant. 30 minutes went by without a waiter coming by at all. I went in to let the hostess know this. Someone did come over and made it sound as if she was just helping out. We did order and a manager came over and apologized and bought us our first round of drinks. We essentially never heard from a waiter or anyone again. We had to get someone's attention to order more drinks. The food service was very good, but it was all delivered by different people that only serve. The food was good, but not exceptional as we had expected. I would potentially try it again if I am ever in the LA area because I'm hoping this was a fluke and a product of the fact that we were not inside the restaurant.
The food was mediocre. Need I say more. It is a lovely space but only half the seats are comfortable. If you sit side-by-side you’ll be fine but if you want to sit across from each other one of you is going to be uncomfortable. The service was very good.
Our server was incredibly funny and friendly and everything we ordered was delicious. There was a live band the night we went so the atmosphere was great.
