Displayed in pride of place at the back of the restaurant, the red king crab is expertly prepared and served simply on ice or baked with butter and thyme, to allow the sublime flavors of this sweet, succulent meat to shine through. Ordered whole or as portions of leg or shoulder meat, the crab make a truly luxurious experience for a decadent lunch or dinner. Signature main courses include Singapore chilli crab; Fancy king crab burger with potato fries and coleslaw and King crab fettuccine all prepared in different ways to show off this indulgent ingredient. The bar downstairs offers a cosy retreat with booth seating, serving an array of delicious cocktails.
Fantastic food absolutely delicious
Very nice good food and staff
Had a meal for 2 at Fancy Crab on a Friday night.
We chose a seafood platter for 2. It’s not a generous serving and while the lobster was tasty the rest was slightly overcooked.
For dessert I had a lemon tart which was very nice.
Overall I wouldn’t go back but there’s nothing particularly wrong with it there’s just no ‘wow’ factor or reason to go back.
The food is great, but the ambience is lacking and interior design is like run of the mill American diner with the price tag of a Michelin.
It was Crabilicious! We had the whole crab and mussels which was probably not meant to feed 2 people but we nailed it. I would probably recommend 3-4 people to share if you go for the whole crab and a 1 or 2 sides to go with it.
Amazing like always
Poor food quality cocktails are not great at all cold restaurant
They didn’t even put one crab claw with Singaporean chilli crab. No meat we were still hungry
Food sharing sea food platter was not served with dry ice smoke as advertised by restayrant that was dusappointing to our sin. They said they do not do it. The sea food plate was average but extremely overpriced. Nothing special about restaurant, food or service. Toilet was clean. Not going to visit again, there better sea food restaurants in the area.
Front of house brillian(, food tasty but felt the shrimp roll was slightly small but at same point can’t argue with value.
Once again a lovely experience, great food, great cocktails and staff attentive. Love this place.
We were there for a birthday. Had a reservation. Great table. Nice server. We had fries and crab bon bons as a starter and then waited 45 mins for chilled crab. The server came by and asked us if we wanted a dessert menu. We told him we never got our meal...still took about 10 mins to get our meal after all of this and there was nothing done to remedy the mishap. $190 for two people for lunch with very little food is a bit extreme.
Its OK menu very limited and waiting staff not very good at explaining the dishes.
I didn't like having my wine taken away because the glass had a fly in it. Only to receive back an empty glass atleast replace the wine. Not sure where the fly came from it must have been a winter fly.
The music was a bit loud and discussing with a background noise was not always easy.
The hospitality was really good as soon as we walked in and got seated . The food was amazing ... the flavours were truly amazing and their signature carb was just great
I will be defiantly going back again very soon
Great meal with attentive service
Over priced. They tried to push us downstairs where there was no activity going on.
If you want a real seafood / shell food experience. It’s not the place
Having asked how much crab we should order for two, the waiter said 400g in total. When the bill came, he tried to charge for 800g. No apology when queried. Was only sorted when the manager came over. Would never go back again and would never recommend. Avoid.
Food was fantastic!! Staff was so kind and helpful!! We loved it. We will be back soon and we will definitely recommend it!!
Too much carbs on the plate, not enough seafood
It was very nice dinner, with very nice staff, especially the waiter Castro. Really I admire him. In general I would like to say that still the price is not meet the food.
Nice and polite waiters. But food really below average. Cevice and clams too spicy. We couldnt feel any flavour. Grilled fish bit stinky....
Service was very poor. Many waiters cannot communicate with and understand the customer.
The service was below par but the food somewhat made up for it
Decent food, decent restaurant
I booked after seeing lots of crab filled posts on Instagram.
The lunch menu didn't really reflect this, but that's not to say that we didn't enjoy it.
My pregnant friends craving for crab was not quite satisfied.
The nachos with king crab, made at the table, was a delicious idea. We followed this with the seafood roll.
It was great value for a quick lunch, fast and efficiently served.
Poor service no attention from waiter when I had asked for things for the table that was completely ignored once food came he didn’t check on us until it was time for bill
Was disappointed with Singapore chili crab hardly any pieces of crab for £28
One of the waiters had a bad attitude and the service atmosphere throughout the restaurant is bustling. The waiter served the wrong order twice and the checkout was especially slow. Food is just okay.
We went to Fancy Crab for my mother’s birthday and it was a lovely evening. The service was really good, and Zac was very attentive and extremely friendly. It was so nice to have the birthday Creme brûlée at the end - what a treat! Gorgeous place and loved the crab theme.
Not enough crab meat in main course
I will never ever come back to this restaurant again!
This is the worst restaurant in London!
We went to this restaurant for dinner as my parents are leaving this country. However the service and the food were both terrible!
We ordered the big sea food platter(£85) for my parents. But even everyone else’s food has been finished, the platter was not served.
We asked 2 waiters to chase, not been told that this is kitchen stuff they cannot do anything.
All the food were extremely salty. We has to drink water for the whole night.
The staffs there were not helpful at all. It seemed that they cannot understand what’s their own role.
The chefs were not cooking-we waited for 1hour to get all our food.
The waiters were just walking around-They didn’t want to check with kitchen where’s our food. When I asked for ketchup, I had to wait for almost 10mins to get it. Try to copy McDonald’s! They serve ketchup quicker!
And the food. Seafood platter is a joke, full of tiny tiny mussel. Most of the shells were not prepared properly so we found the whole beach in our mouth.
Anyway just want to share my sad story with everyone. Next time if someone wants seafood, try burger and lobster.
Not impressive. Wouldn't recommended. Not fresh at all. And octopus was overcooked...
We found the restaurant welcoming from the outset. Castro our waiter was friendly and gave wonderful recommendations according to our requirements.
The crab Bon bons were delightful, as were the tiger prawns. The crispy squid had a bit too much batter instead of squid.
The crab burgers were a tad salty and not sure whether the brioche bun complemented the crab as both are slightly sweet.
Castro organised a birthday dessert for my husband which was a wonderful touch. Thank you.
We had a sharing platter which was amazing, cocktails of course great and the pudding gorgeous. Cant wait to go back and have an even bigger platter. Staff also were lovely and helpful.
As others have said, service was appalling. I felt really sorry for the waiters who were all
Individually lovely gents. But something is wrong because every single time we needed them we had a literal ordeal to get their attention. Because they are so busy it seems. But really it doesn’t look like they are. They’re just not trained well I think. Poor management I expect. Was so exhausted by the end of the meal with trying to get attention I just wanted to leave. Mother’s birthday as well. Embarrassing. Getting up to get own wine from ice bucket stand because no one bothering. Etc etc. The salt pepper squid, although recommended by the waiter, was awful. The hot platter for £85 was really average. Filled mostly with muscles. Very much a let down
Excellent place for fresh seafood, crabs & lobsters in particular. Good value considering the Marylebone location too!
The crab is delicious. Stick with that. The starters we had (lobster claws and shrimp) were average. The interesting thing was that while there were empty tables upstairs (and they were still empty when we left) we were taken to a nearly empty downstairs that looks like a storage facility. While we would go back for the crab, we would not sit in the basement again.
Singapore crab was delicious!
While the team apologised for disrupted service, apparently due to a change of staff,
, it was honestly the poorest service I have ever seen in my life. 15 people waiting at the door to be seated when we arrived. 30 minutes until someone came and took even a Drinks order, and then an additional 30 minutes for delivery. All the food came at different times. 2 meals (of 6) were forgotten, and delivered once the rest of us had finished. Would have been funny if we’d had a drink and a basket of bread to tide us over. Never ever again. It was an embarrassment in front of our overseas guests. The chilli crab was nothing like Singapore chilli crab. Everything else was mediocre.
