We look forward to serving you!
Food excellent and staff friendly not disappointed will be back
Best Indian in north Leeds. Very friendly and great food
Friendly staff , food was great , value a little expensive , atmosphere was ok , owner was very friendly and helpful . We would go again , and draught kingfisher was a bonus , 👍
Not really fair for me to rate the food as we never made it into the restaurant. Our booking was for 815, but the restaurant has overbooked, and when we arrived at the queue at 8pm there were people who were booked for 715 and were still waiting outside for their tables. After 30 mins of waiting and no movement of the queue (3 parties in front of us) we went home!!
They had over booked so 1hr wait for a table despite re-booking. Made to stabd outaide and wait and restaurant too small. No social distances between people or tables, no track and trace, no hand sanitsers in toilets. We were packed in like sardines Waiting staff rude, just slammed incorrect food on table, so had to be called over to advise, no apologies, like they were doing us a favour. Food was aweful, even the drinks were aweful, warm tonic in g&t with no ice and no gin glasses so given a water glass. Never will waste my time ir money in there again. Very appalled and disappointed by the whole experience.
A delicious menu, lovely freshly cooked food and very friendly service. The staff did their utmost to overcome stresses caused by the virus restrictions. We will definitely return and recommend Fanoosh to our friends.
Table was booked for 6.30pm on a Tuesday evening (Government offer was available) but my son and I were not seated until atleast 7.15pm. Surely the booking system could have been better? Ordered drinks once seated and then again 5 mins later and it took atleast another 5 minutes to arrive.
That said the food was lovely but on the dear side.
Food and service was excellent. Our first visit to Fanoosh but will definitely be back. The complimentary dessert was an added bonus. Thank you.
First time I’ve been in - the food was delicious. Odd in this pandemic situation and a little uneasy that staff didn’t have to wear masks but we were seated away from others. Very friendly staff, will be back
once again, absolutely superb food. with the friendly owner on hand to have a chat with and ensuring his clients expectations have been met.... they always have been when eating at this restaurant.
just a realy good place to eat great food.
Lovely venue, no complaints as the food & staff are excellent
Lovely place and food. Really happy with the service and the staff
Gorgeous food in a lovely local restaurant. A great date night out!
Relaxing with very nice food and good service. Plenty of room between tables.
bad service, food was ok as we got 50% off but wouldn’t be worth eating there at full price
The food was fantastic, very fresh and tasty.
Plenty of choice too.
All staff was extremely nice and helped when recommending from the menu.
Decor was very clean and tidy.
We will be definitely be returning.
The only small negatives was the food was a little wait to arrive but was was made fresh and very hot so no issues. And the card machine was not working so I had to leave my date in the restaurant and had 250m wall to the bank.
Terrible evening, no atmosphere, 45 mins before starters came. Had to ask twice for the drinks to come. Main course came with a vegetable curry, the veg was clearly from a pack of frozen chopped up veg in squares. Owner offered free desert which we didn’t want but didn’t knock anything off the bill. Won’t be going again
I have visited Fanoosh twice over the Xmas period. The food and service was outstanding on both occasions. Definitely will be using again as my go to Indian restaurant in North Leeds.
Probably the worst food and service I have experienced in years,
The place is an absolute joke
Atmosphere was spot on, asked where we would like to be seated. Weren’t rushed or pestered, right amount of food ordered.
Dear Sarah, thank you for your wonderful review. I shall pass on your encouraging and reassuring words to the entire team at Fanoosh.
We had a lovely birthday meal at Fanoosh. The food is excellent and the chef is able to adapt to our dietary needs and preferences. The staff are welcoming, helpful and attentive but never intrusive.
I will certainly return and recommend you try it for yourself. You will be pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food and the great staff.
Fantastic place and great service friendly staff really lovely food and my son enjoyed it as this meal was for his 21 birthday
Whilst the food at Fanoosh is amazing, it is sadly let down by very poor service and for that reason I could not recommend fanoosh to a friend
In comparison to similar restaurants in the area this was a bit overpriced. Starter was nice but very small.
Staff were friendly and helpful but seemed very stretched, to be fair it was New Years Eve and very busy.
Had a nice evening, food was OK.
The food was very good.
The service was personable but the production of food painfully slow.
There were no other people in the restaurant and between starter and main there was a 1 hour wait.
When the food arrived whilst excellent flavour it was just warm....
Exceptional food and service with a nice, authentic feel about the place. Menu isn't big and you can tell the food is prepared as fresh as possible to retain the quality. We all said compliments to the chefs.
Loved the place and would definitely recommend to friends and family.
