Amazing food and outstanding waiting staff. We were seated very promptly, and our order was taken pretty much straightaway (which was ideal because we’d already decided prior to getting to the restaurant what we wanted to have!). Surpassed my expectations by a fair margin. If you’re looking for a special vegan place for dinner, this ticks all the boxes!

If you want a place with loud music, tables close together, and friendly serving staff then this is great. If you want really inventive vegan cooking and the chance to talk to a friend, probably choose somewhere else.

Food was nice but really really sloe service! Waited 20 mins just for bread, 30 mins for drinks and 40 mins for starter. Waitress apologetic but severely lacking in staff numbers and unprepared for number of bookings and customers.

The food was very nice. As a non vegan I was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was.

What a breath of fresh air! My husband and I loved every dish we ordered. The green soup was amazing. It came with bread so it was enough for a meal along with the garden salad. We were getting pretty full but managed to eat all of the curry and most of the charred broccoli. We will definitely be back next time we’re in London!

I had a midweek lunch with a friend and it was our first visit to the restaurant. We’re both vegan - me long-standing and my friend a recent convert.

When we arrived the restaurant was very quiet (table booked for 12 midday) but by the time we left at 1:30pm it was busy and buzzy.

The service was good - not too intrusive and not too absent and the staff were friendly.

The food was delicious and our choices felt healthy - both my friend and I opted for the Mexican bowl which was a decent sized portion (always a concern for someone with a good appetite like myself) and some sweet potato fries on the side (slightly on the soft side despite them being very well browned from cooking).

Dessert was a chocolate cookie which we shared with a glass of home made almond milk. The cookie was on the wholesome side which is perfect for someone looking for a sweet treat that doesn’t feel too naughty but would probably miss the mark for someone looking for something a bit more indulgent.

All in all a very pleasant experience in a nice space which I would repeat.

Price wise - probably a bit expensive for what it is (£14 for the lunch bowl, £8 for the cookie and shot of milk combo, £5 for a lemonade, albeit a healthy version etc) but healthy and delicious so not enough to put me off going back.

100% yes! This place is amazing. The food is outstanding, the service great, staff lovely.

Vegan food that was fantastic quality, imaginative, very tasty, clever and didn’t feel like substitutes or pretentious.

Will be going back for sure!

I overall had a very good experience. The food was creative, flavourful and was presented well. The service was spot on and the cocktails were original and well put together. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys vegan food and for those wanting an above average vegan restaurant experience.

Beautiful setting, relaxing to sit and enjoy. The service was prompt and attentive. The food was tasty, flavoursome and i’d very much like to have some more of it! The fresh green machta and mint juice was devoured by my 5 year old. Delicious!
Only thing is it’s pricey.

I did some research on the place before so I feel my expectations were generally quite high for food and innovation.

Broccoli were raw, I got as an excuse that as they’re organic ( I buy organic and farm sourced products regularly ) they don’t cook them too much, but those were literally hard.

The food generally is overpriced for what it is, and I’m saying this from the persceptive of someone that loves fine dining and going to shop at places like Harvest and Planet Organic, and organic markets.

Everything was just average
we had two appetizers a main and a side + 2 desserts : banana bread and brownie which looked very delicious. So the banana bread was actually very nice in both consistency and flavour but the brownie was overly sweetened. I would say just less maple syrup and it would be as great as it looks like.

We’ll come back for Brunch and give it a try:)

Overpriced, unhelpful, and the food was gross!

I took my friend to Farmacy for her birthday as she is a vegeterian. There were a few of and we had high hopes before we arrive but it turned out to be the biggest disappointment of the year!

The food tasted awful, especially the Forager's Pie - no one could stomach a bite.

Not only was most of the food inedible, the prices per dish were extortionate....the birthday girl orderd a salad (which was £16!!) that mainly consisted of leaves, LESS than half an avacado and a couple of berries ....kid you not!

We also asked the waiter if they could be flexible with some of the dishes, i.e. remove and add some ingredients - but they refused to do so for any dish.

We also asked to order some chips on the side, and they refused to, stating that we had to purchase the burger and chips meal if we wanted to have just the chips.... so they expected us to pay £16 in order to obtain the extra chips basically. A joke.

I would NEVER recommend this place - you will be fully ripped off and the food isn't even good. Not one of us enjoyed our meals at all.

Don't give in to the hype....its definitely one of those 'for instagram' places...take your picture, leave and never come back.

Sorry Farmacy - you were an utter disappointment.

Terrific plant based menu which will keep both vegan and non-vegans happy and healthy. Portions are right sized, and the drinks menu also caters to those imbibing, and teetotalers. It's fun and interesting.

Always the biggest pleasure to eat at Farmacy. The staff seem so delighted to welcome and serve you. And the food is so beautiful. It’s truly a restaurant where every type of person (whatever their dietary preferences) is enamoured and satisfied. The decor, the service, the choice, the tastes - all as good as it could be

Beautiful and well-kept place. Young, kind and nice staff that puts you immediately at ease.
Healthy but tasty cuisine.
I've been there for Saturday brunch. Varied and inviting menu, with delicious desserts.
If you go there on a Saturday, after a ride in the chaos of Portobello, you will come out relaxed and rejuvenated .... and you can treat yourself to a walk and a stop at Kensington Gardens.
The only small flaw, the place was full and therefore a bit noisy ... but a pleasant noise of people having fun !!
Highly recommended !!!!

Plant-based restaurant, Farmacy offers very tasty dishes. Some vegan skeptical friends came for dinner and they were positively surprised with the quality of the food. The restaurant is quiet and the staff super friendly. Definitely recommend it but better to book in advance to secure a table.

Overall experience was ok. However, a few critics on the food and service.

The falafel starter had way too much hummus and falafel were dry with no seasoning.

The burger that came with sweet potato fries were fairly soggy with no crunch.

Lastly, we were rush to finish and didnt have the chance for any dessert on my bday.

Despite checking beforehand about an onion intolerance and being told it was not a problem when we were taken through the menu pretty much 90% of dishes contained onion and choice was not great. The chef couldn't modify content we were told.
It took restaurant manager to intervene and that intervention eventually sorted out a decent meal.
So it was OK in the end but the hiatus at the start spoiled the visit a bit.
