Everything just very average. Not bad, but nothing that would induce me to return. Food only OK. Would rather stay home and cook something myself.

Due to COVID they aren’t allowing people to serve themselves from the buffet which is all they are offering at this time. No plated entrees allowed. The food from the buffet was cold. Limited variety of dishes. Even the coffee was cold. Service was subpar and the waitress was not very attentive. Which was confusing because one would think the service would be better while there are less people to serve. This was my second time going. The first time I wasn’t impressed but decided to try it again. I don’t think I’ll be going back.
Amazing food and an amazing time!
Had to send the meatballs back (pasta dish) and I didn't understand why there were swimming in a giant pool of broth -- they were hard as a rock and tasteless. Hopefully it was just a bad day since I'm aware/sensitive to the impact of Covid on our restaurants. We ate outside (due to Covid) and it's a pleasant space...
Am willing to try them again (have had better luck in the past) because we all have our bad days...

I had an issue with the server. I ordered coffee as I always do when I at farmed I ordered the same breakfast Everytime. But the server never mentioned that they no longer give refills on coffee anymore due to the establishment purchasing a $7,000 coffee machine and then roasting their own beans now. But had she have said this before hand I would have ordered something refillable. But everything thing else was Wonderful.
Service is slow if not absent, no coffee refills, and now pandemic surcharge brings a glorified diner meal into the area of unaffordability, especially when you add the tip for well, nothing.
At least I’m not eating off of plastic plates and using disposable utensils for a $40 breakfast.

Food was excellent! Server forgot drink, didn’t offer napkins; very average. Host was very impatient with our seating choice.
I paid $46.73 (beofre tip) for a plate of mac and cheese that didn't even taste that good (bland), and a cocktail that I also ended up not liking. The prices were not clearly listed so I unfortunately assumed I would be paying $15-ish for a plate of mac and cheese. Nope. Had to pay buffet prices. My sister got their salad and THEY TRIED TO CHARGE HER THE SAME $30. FOR A SIDE SALAD. BECAUAE APPARENTLY THAT WAS ALSO A BUFFET ITEM. If you're going here make sure you ask a lot of questions, don't assume the prices!!! I took pictures of the menu, showed it to my friends when we got home and asked them to tell me how much a plate of mac was. They couldn't. Very confusing menu!! My only regret in DC was dining here, would not go back.
I am SO SO sorry for the confusion with our Buffet Brunch Menu and feel badly that somehow the price on the menu ($29.99 per person) was overlooked and my teammate failed to properly convey this was the overall price for any of the listed items ordered. :( We appreciate your feedback and will surely take this into account. Went for brunch service. While I didn’t mind getting up to the buffet, I felt that there were social distancing issues while going in and out from the patio to the indoor buffet. I chose to sit outside to avoid indoor dining. I also thought the advertisement for the buffet was misleading because it did not sound like I would have to get up for food. It was more advertised as servers transporting food. Would come again for dinner, but would hold off on brunch service until service returns to “normal.”
Let me begin by saying that I love Farmers & Distillers brunch. However, my experience on Sunday was anxiety ridden. It was my first time eating inside a restaurant since the pandemic began. I thought the process for partaking in the brunch buffet was cumbersome. Waiters should remind guests that they need to take a plate with them to the buffet because that's not intuitive. There should also be a staff person monitoring the line to ensure appropriate social distancing and the wearing of masks. The line and the wait to get food became long at times. Waitstaff behind the partitions were not very attentive, and neglected to bring out all of the items listed on the menu.
I think the restaurant has done a decent job of trying to create an experience similar to the pre-COVID-19 brunch, but perhaps management should consider offering an a la carte menu in addition to the buffet to offer those of us who are still anxious around strangers during a pandemic another dining option. Or perhaps I should continue to take-out until it's safe to be around strangers.
I am real sorry to read this brunch visit failed to measure up, and sadly, you left underwhelmed with our service & revised buffet set-up. This is all understandable, and our Management Team will surely take this all into account! Overall, it was good place but I wouldn’t come back to eat because it was so expensive.
A buffet and some drinks ended up being more than $100 for two people. I ended up going to a local Mexican restaurant the next day for brunch and it was amazing Price and foodd

Been there before n it was good haven’t been in a while the food was not great n the menu sucked yo be honest so I only had wings and my friend had something else n they drinks not really great and water down so we left and went Somewhere else

This concept has the opportunity to be amazing but with COVID right now the brunch is just not worth the price. Waiters were very friendly and helpful but buffet was avg at best.

First day out since COVID. Celebrating birthday
Came here for a first date and got drinks on the patio. The service was great and I appreciated how well they spaced out the tables. I will definitely be visiting again. Also the drinks were well poured!

Good meal. Very interesting menu with unusual dishes, which we like. But also some standards and classics for the less adventurous. It was nice to sit outside and the food was good. The service was also good. Would definitely go back.

Took forever for table to be assisted and was attacked by every fly in the district
Our reservation was for 1:00pm, they sat us at 1:20pm. For some reason, we had to order the $30 per person brunch (although a “regular” lunch menu was on the table when we sat down). The first few requests were delivered just fine but as the meal progressed the server had to be prompted to clear plates, bring water, etc. We waited 10-15 minutes (looking at dishes that should have been cleared) for the server (Rosario?) to return and take our dessert orders. It never happened. We finally summoned the “manager” and received the order (less than tasty donuts and cheesecake). A total disappointment AND they tacked on an extra four percent for staff who are unable to work due to the COVID shutdowns. I’ll never come back or recommend this place to anyone. The food was pretty uninspiring and the service abysmal.
