Good food and nice looking restaurant! However, service was VERY slow. I don't know if this is due to Covid restrictions or not. This was my first time there.
Dirty dishes sitting at the end of the table took a long time to be picked up. Drinks took a long time to arrive. Appetizers didn't come out together. And, it took 35 minutes to get our desserts. So although, a leisurely dinner is nice, this was a bit excessive.
It was just ok. Our service wasn't great. The waitress pretty much ignored us in favor of other larger tables. Took over an hour to get our food since she didn't take our order for like 20 minutes, and then my order was wrong when I finally got it. And the food was just meh, nothing special. We won't be back.
Riblets, Sweet Potatoe roll, lamb chops & vanilla doughnut were great
I’ve been to this restaurant three times. This time the food was great, but not excellent. I had the shrimp scampi. I make it, and I’ve had it at Grill Fish many times. In addition, I’ve had it in many Rhode Island restaurants. Knowing what’s possible elevated my expectations and they were not met. I feel like the sauce could have been more complex flavor-wise. That said, I really like this restaurant and don’t think my experience should keep anyone away from it. Try it yourself, try other items.
always fantastic! delicious food and great value for the quality.
The brunch buffet was delicious! More than worth the $30 - we especially loved the special dishes you could get from the kitchen that were included in the buffet price. The range of food was great and we were more than satisfied!
Wonderful! Even after having a hard time adding another guest to my reservation I was finally able too. FREDDY, our waiter was AMAZING!
Buffet food sometimes over cooked. The food could have been fresher.
We had a reservation for Father’s Day. We arrived on time and we’re seated outside, as requested, after waiting a few minutes. We had great service and the brunch was good. Certain items on the brunch menu were brought to the table, if requested, and we received these well-presented items in a timely manner. Since we sat outside, it was a little chaotic to carry your plate inside through the waiting area to the brunch food area. It was also a little crowded inside surrounding the food. The lunch menu of the brunch did not have a very good presentation overall and was located on on a few tables pushed together. The dessert portion of the menu was being served in a busy aisle way next to the greeter. Metal serving spoons are also left under the warming lights which caused them to be hot to the touch. Despite the food and service being very good, a little more thought to the flow of the brunch buffet line and presentation is needed, especially in light of an ongoing pandemic.
Restaurant was not clean. Buffet food was not shielded and patrons were allowed to lean over dishes of food. Quality of food was very disappointing… Runny eggs, flavorless hash browns, limited selection and no ordering from menu. The one positive thing was the French toast which was very good. Def not worth the money or the hype.
Nice place, very busy, have to reserve days a head..
Always a solid and consistent experience. I personally like the difference in menu from FF but it retains some of the favorites to make the overall experience familiar.
We ordered 3 apps , 4 mains and various cocktails. The fish and chips were fantastic but I was disappointed by Cumin Lamb noodles. The cracker crusted shrimp was great as well as the classic 7 cheese Mac n cheese & the steak frites.
I was not blown away by any of the dishes but if you’re looking for farm fresh food and big portions this is definitely a good choice!
We were sat at a table that should have never been a table. We even had reservations. Interesting place, the food was very good, the server was very honest and kind. The table was our biggest complaint. We were seated between two other tables about 2 feet apart.
Unbelievably good dinner !!!
Fantastic! Great food great service wel worth the money
Uncouth waitstaff unfavorable customer experience
Fabulous brunch with so many options. Assorted sweets are all very good (and dangerous). Pancakes, tuna bites, bacon lollis, etc that can be ordered were tasty.
Didn’t have nearly everything on their menu. Food on buffet was slow to come out.
I'm a regular here. Large menu with lots of options. Have dined outdoors, indoors, and at the bar. Always a good experience. Servers are always fun and knowledgeable. Food is typically on point; if you don't like something they will change it for you. Overall a good choice.
Farmers and Distillers never disappoints. The food is fantastic, the drinks inventive and the service friendly and attentive.
Great lunch but waited 30 mins for our appetizer. Waitress and manager handled it very gracefully though. Overall the food was delicious and would definitely come again.
Tasty and we’ll be back. The waitress was very nice, but a little too busy and service was a little slower than we were hoping for. Not her fault — but definitely make sure you have 2 hours for lunch if you want to stop here :)
