Our server Sasha was excellent!! Food was delicious and excellent brunch selections!
Johnny the bartender took great care of us!! The food was great. My daughter did not like the curry chicken (I liked it) so Johnny took it off our bill!! Highly recommend the visit!
Overall we really enjoyed our visit to Farmers & Distillers! The service was great and all of our food was delicious. It seemed like they were still adjusting to the DC vaccine requirement for guests which made it take a little longer for us to get seated, but staff was friendly and did a good job of getting everyone checked and seated as quickly as they could.
Didn’t disappoint. Everything from the drinks to dessert—perfect!
Fantastic! So glad you enjoyed everything! -Jessica
It was a fumble at the goal line.
Food and drinks were great. Appetizers and drinks came out quickly. Entrees were great and came out on time.
We asked our server for some donuts to go as we were in a hurry to get back to our parking as it was about to expire. We paid our bill only to never see our server again.
Nobody else checked on us. We flagged down one server, they went to check, they got another server involved and he went to check and never saw him again.
Finally we flagged down the manager and he got us our to-go bag. All-in-all it was 25 minutes AFTER the time stamp on our receipt that we got our to-go bag.
It soured an otherwise great experience.
The food here never disappoints. This was my first visit since the pandemic. It was very busy, but service was good.
The restaurant was crazy busy for Saturday early evening which is great for the restaurant however for the customer it wasn’t great. I made a reservation and had to wait for over 15 minutes for our table. We had a hockey game to attend so 15 minutes makes a big difference especially when it’s so busy you have to wait for everything. Our server was amazing and doing her best. The mojito sorry to say is awful so please don’t order it. Thankfully our server returned them because an awful $12 is hard to swallow. The food was good which makes up for the drink. Just know that you should arrive by 5 or early if attending a Capitals game on a Saturday. I know during this time everything is difficult but they should plan and know what they can handle.
Understaffed. Servers working hard to keep up, and take good care of their clients. Restaurant overbooked their reservations, made for a very chaotic waiting area. When we finally got seated, it went ok.
Food was good.
7 year birthday brunch tradition with the exception of the last 2 yrs due to covid. The price was reduced and so was the quality of food. They removed all you can drink teas and coffee and charge $4.60 for a pot of tea. They will only add more hot water for free. They added a 5% covid charge. The pancakes you could once order just sat on a bar cold. The food did not taste fresh. It was very disappointing. Happy Birthday? They ruined it. It is a shame that the waitress tried to shame us into why the covid fee was important. She said the staff and their families need the money. So I have been out of work also and saved so I could come support the restaurant. That isn’t enough? I’m telling everyone not to go back. Poor poor poor
Farmers and Distillers was just as great as I remembered.
Service great. Food average.
