We arrived 15 mins early for our 11:30am Sunday brunch reservation. I had been here before w/friends Feb 19 & the experience was fantastic from the service, to the fresh food plates brought to the table, the yummy brunch selection and organization, & great coffee. Unfortunately, it looks like COVID has really done a number on this place. I asked to be seated by a booth at the window since it was my husband’s birthday and his first time here so that he could enjoy the view of the Potomac river & pretty fountain. We were told that because other larger parties were coming that wouldn’t be possible. I pointed out that there were several Caucasian couples sitting in booths (we are Muslim & I wear a headscarf). My POC seater said she would go back and ask but she was “just a seater and I can’t make these decisions.” When she returned after talking to the other POC seater, she apologetically said she wasn’t able to seat us at a both. I was very put off by that but I tried to ignore it. Our server was a sweet woman but there seemed to be a shortage of servers and while she really tried to be attentive to us initially, she had so many tables to cover that we didn’t get much service from her while we were there. The brunch buffet was messy, sloppy and the food was like an afterthought and not tasty at all. The employees restocking food were careless & disconnected as if that was the last place they wanted to be. The “fresh” plates brought to the table were limp, tasteless sushi, biscuits and cinnamon rolls that hadn’t risen enough and were hard/too sweet, and the shrimp was over fried. We are coffee drinkers but the coffee was bitter and tasted worse as it cooled down. We tried a latte and that was also bitter. I’m offended that we were racially profiled by other POCs and didn’t get a booth while Caucasian couples were already seated at booths & *continued* to be seated at booths while we sat at a small table. Not worth the $101 spent - SAVE YOUR MONEY and go ELSEWHERE!!!!
Food before main entree was decent. Steak - amazing!
Great food, prices very reasonable. Had a 730 reservation, checked in at 720, wasn't seated until nearly 8. Once we were seated, they didn't seem to have assigned us a waiter (one person took our drink order, another our food, and she was clearly disinterested). Would still recommend based on the location, food, and price.

It was great and the food was awesome but the service was so slow. Had to ask 4 times to get ice for my water, until it came after I ate half my meal.
Excelente la comida, solo el ruido era excesivo. Los postres, no son mis favoritos. Demasiado dulces.
Food and atmosphere were great. Server was less than energetic. She was possibly overwhelmed due to a very busy evening.

Even we had a reservation, the host was sitting people without reservation. We had to wait for more than 30 minutes and they gave us the worst table.

Frederick, our waiter, was absolutely fantastic. The staff was incredibly accommodating and I cannot recommend this restaurant enough.
The server was unprofessional. She came and tried to take our order with her hands full of dirty dishes from a previous table. Her mask was never on correctly with her nose out at all times. In addition, she checked in with our table maybe 3 x the entire time we were there and then got our orders wrong, but still charged us for the error.

The prices are typical for Georgetown so keep that in mind. It’s definitely worth it for the quality of food!! As a foodie we will be back for brunch! Great job.
Our experience was not what we were expecting at all we ordered and after 30/40 min of sitting we never even received our drinks we ordered everyone around us was getting great service asked for a manager he/she took long on top of us already waiting so we just left
