Indian
Farzi Café is a modern spice bistro serving cutting edge, avant-garde Indian cuisine with a twist.

The menu at Farzi Café London offers contemporary Indian dishes and global classics, with whimsical nods to traditional British favourites. Dishes such as Amritsari Halibut, or Ground Wagyu beef scotch eggs that sits comfortably alongside Dal Chawal Arancini and Shawarma Biryani, each masterfully spiced and creatively presented.

In addition, our cocktail menu is inspired by India’s ancient Hindu past and the interaction between Ayurveda and Vedic astrology - a blend of carefully selected tinctures, herbs and spices are used to highlight each of the 12 cocktails - including 3 non-alcoholic - on its bespoke Vedika Menu.

A selection of small producer wines, including select fine vintages by the glass, with beers from Indian craft brewery, White Rhino, rounds off our drinks offering.

We look forward to welcoming you!

Waitress was clearly new!
Gave us wrong menus, served us wrong drinks and generally we were rushed. Food tasted below average. I would not recommend

The food was great..spot on. The best prepared and tasting food I have had in restaurants in a long time...really enjoyed every dish.

Only issue that detracted to the overall experience was the noise. It was a little too noisy. I think this was due the placing of the table right next the bar. Had the background music and the chatter chatter of the people at the bar.

Fantastic place for a night out. Chitcken tikka starter and lamb shanks are an absolute must. Also the cocktails are delicious - all so innovative. Definitely worth trying.

BEST INDIAN RESTAURANT IN LONDON!
It is rare I would visit the same restaurant two days in a row - unless the food and experience is exceptional! We did visit Sunday and Monday evening for dinner because we loved it!!!
Farzi cafe (restaurant actually!!) ticks all the boxes for a culinary experience. The food is delicious, innovative and ingredients - fresh & top quality.
The service was top notch, a special mention to the Manager, Francis who was attentive. The place was buzzing for a Monday evening! I think for location and food quality its good value. Definitely go and experience it!

Great food, service was brilliant. Quite expensive, but worth the money and what you would expect from a decent London restaurant. Will definitely go back.

This was a really nice place to eat with great food. The cuisine is essentially Indian with Gujarati, Bangladesh and a British fusion. The cocktails are amazing...especially their signature cocktails and their bar men are really good and knowledgeable about the drinks. Food was explained to us and we ordered the right amount. The only slightly unpleasant part was we asked for gluten free nan and admittedly it was not on the menu but we asked anyway....and we heard the chef say to the waitress (in quite a rude tone)...”No, we do not have gluten free...it’s not on the menu”. A bit unnecessary! But don’t let that put you off...it’s a beautiful place with great food. Highly recommend.

A bit pricey for what it is, although the food is good. Best value is with the set courses which are only available until 6:30 pm. Although portions are smaller, they are far cheaper and you get to try a starter, main, bread, desert and a glass of champagne!

We booked ahead and still had to wait 45 mins for a table to be cleared. Food was mediocre, waiter had to change a dish due to miscommunication and overall the atmosphere was bearable.

It's expensive for what you get. 4 lamb chops at £25.00 with NO sides, is crazy! Sides at £8 for asparagus, is also ridiculous. I get the location adds to prices and that's it Indian food with a twist, however, there are much better places to go to get value for money with amazing tastes. We ended up with a coke each as some of the drinks and their flavours sounded way to weird to try at £12.00 a glass! Won't be going back personally.

We booked for 10.45 which was shown as an option on the open table app. On arrrival no one seemed to expect us to be there. We were then seated and asked to order as soon as we sat down as the kitchen was closing. Why would you take the booking if your closing. After ordering, our starters and mains were sent all at once. Very odd. The waiter then asked as he put the food down would you like desserts, you will have to order them now. Iv never been to a restaurant where you have to order your dessert with your main meal. Service was generally shocking. Rude waiter, typical central London reataurant. Would never return

Excellent food and exceptional service - offered us some pillows when they saw I’m pregnant, very kind and attentive staff. The atmosphere is great and the furnishing is really posh. I highly recommend this place. We’ll be back for sure.
Thanks!

Ambience good. Very accomodating staff. Good drinks menu and cocktails. The vegetarian food which we ordered however was dissappointing. The descriptions were more tantalising but the tastes left a lot to be desired. Perhaps "more style than substance."

We ordered 10 dishes out of which 3 were really good and others were average. From pricing standpoint, i was very disappointed as each dish is quite expensive, and the reaultant food doesn't justifies the cost. The portion sizes were small. Ambience was good but being at Soho it's a mandatory thing. I will give overall 2 stars out of 5.

There's a deft touch at work here, in both the drinks menu and the food. Order the unusual things; they're delicious. For example, we really enjoyed the "Roasted Pumpkin, Courgette Salad & Goat’s Curd mousse, honey truffle."

Requested counter seats but was shown to a table. That was fine. Service was very good. One course came out only like warm and after a little difficulty getting ‘like-warm’ understood the dish was replaced. Food is very tasty and differ t to s traditional Indian experience but that was the attraction. Very expensive best for a very very special occasion. I had said on the booking it was for a birthday and the waiter at the end came out with a large candle in a very small sweet treat with happy birthday written on the plate- nice touch.

Farzi Cafe was aesthetically pleasing. The service was excecuted brilliantly with remembrance of the occasion by the staff who served me a complimentary congratulatory dessert plate for my graduation dinner. The waiter Abishay was allocated to us who topped up our water all the time, ensured we were satisfied with our meals and provided us with reccomendations which we loved! Me and my friend had the dal chawal aranchini which was a yummy vegetarian starter which surprised us. For the mains we picked the lamb shank nihari and the shwarama biryani- both delicious and the meat was so tender it was pulled like chicken! For the mocktails we chose berry crush and chai lychee- chai lychee is a hit and miss as it is sweet but has a punch to your throat whilst the berry crush was refreshing!

We have been here about 3 times before food was very good but this time the food was not that great and the presentation of their chicken bao was just 2 bao on the plate did not expect that from them . Their chicken Biryani was over loaded with cardamom had to sent it back but overall the did not taste like before . Would give them another chance as previously food was really good
