Overall a lovely meal but for the price at almost £50 a head for just mains and drinks comparing with other restaurants like Dishoom I was slightly disappointed. The main thing was that service was lacking and rather slow. Had to wait 35 mins to get drinks on the table other than tap water and it was difficult to get the attention of staff at times. I was also advised I would have a table upstairs when I booked only to be sat in the downstairs area which just did not have the same atmosphere. Food delicious though!

Food was amazing and service was good but the occasion was a bit spoilt when it was time for the bill and the waitress just hovered around even though we hadn’t even finished our drinks. It would have received a better score from me otherwise.

Overall, the food was very good and tasty. The steamed rice had some hairs in it, which is dissapointing giving the restaurant class. I recommend the Chicken Tikka Masala and the chutney combination. Service was decent, nothing spectacular. However, an experience worth trying!

The food was okay, I wouldn’t say the best food but I think I was more disappointed on the portion of the food compared to its value that we paid. An example would be a pistacchio cake that I ordered which was 2/3 spoons and we paid £9 for that. If that cake was tasty I would have understood but the cake didn’t even have sugar and was soggy. This same example goes to the bao we ordered and it came soggy. The environment is good but the food and the price is not worth it at all.

Food was great. The starters were 10/10. I would definitely recommend the chicken 65 and the prawns. The service was moderate. The waiters seemed very nervous. It was pretty amateurish and slow. Nonetheless the food was great and would come again.

It was my brothers birthday (which I mentioned in advance) and they seated us in the private dining area. They provided extra dishes as compliments of the chef as well as a birthday cake slice. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. I would 100% recommend and go back.

Food was fantastic as ever. We had the Banana ragda pattice, goat taco, red tandoori lamb chops, koli varuval, venison and breads. Everything was excellent and the venison was my favourite. The cocktails were fantastic too. Farzi Club, Farzi Royale and the Connoisseur’s sour was our favourites. Have been coming back for their food quite often.

Great location but the pre theatre menu isn’t good value . You will be hungry. Orange juice unavailable because machine broken , water bottles were not cold and waiter wasn’t sure how the menu worked. Our booking was unilaterally and inexplicably canceled, despite a phone conversation just hours before confirming the reservation. The staff accommodated my business dinner at the bar area and proceeded to forget about us repeatedly. We were even asked at one point if we wanted to order food or were just there for drinks. It was rather embarrassing, given that I’d made the booking myself. I can only hope my colleagues realised it wasn’t my fault. Yet apart from an apology at the door there was no attempt to make it up to us. These aren’t easy times, and restaurants are having trouble finding adequate staff. But if I’d canceled my booking, there would have been a £25/head charge. It’s unacceptable for a restaurant to behave this way. By the way, Farzi doesn’t even answer the phone half the time during stated open hours to make or modify bookings. Dialling 1 for reservations, the phone system consistently dropped my calls — hence I turned to Open Table. Well, if I can’t easily provide feedback to the restaurant, I’m more inclined to review it publicly wherever possible.

Outstanding food and lovely cocktails. The prices are quite steep and tonight the service was a little slow - have been previously and this has not been the case though. Music was very loud but the place is beautifully decorated. Had chicken tikka and it was so rich!

Loved the food . It was very quick service and great presentation and very tasty. Really loved the food and experience. The chocolate dessert with the theatrical presentation was highlight of the dinner. Can’t say enough of the cocktails. Already recommended to my friends.

Booked last minute as the queue at Dishoom was huge, actually found this to be a much better atmosphere - the menu isn't huge but has something for everyone and each dish was very good. Cocktails were fantastic, will definitely go again.

Delicious food in small portions. Had the two course pre-theatre menu for £26. Rice (and nans) were extra. I thought rice came with curry? Wine was exceedingly expensive for the quality on offer. £10-12 for a 175ml glass. Fizzy water £4.50 a bottle. 300% mark up. Best recommended for tee totallers

Food was ok, but nothing fantastic, I feel like for a restaurant like Farzi cafe I expected more. The service was awful, and the tables spent most of their time under a lot of light. The waiter then proceeded to spill water down me whilst serving the dessert course without even a sorry. The WC were absolutely filthy. Not a good experience, especially for the amount paid.

The lady who welcomes at the door was not very polite to my friend. She refused to accommodate us when we asked to sit away from The toilets. She did however accommodate other customers. This was despite the fact that we had pre booked and the restaurant was fairly empty at the time. We had a very small table between the four of us and were very uncomfortable. My friend felt that this lady was unhelpful and quite rude to her. I also thought she wasn’t very welcoming. However, the gentlemen who served us at the table was very helpful and we enjoyed his service even though he did rush us a little to put in our order as he mentioned he had ‘other tables to serve’. He was overall easy to talk too. He moved us over to a bigger table so that was very helpful. The food was tasty and we enjoyed it but we would say it was very pricey for extremely small portions. Overall our experience at the restaurant was satisfactory.
