Super service lovely food - what a shame lock down has forced it to close again!

Had an amazing salmon with pesto and chorizo we could not fault it. The service as usual was outstanding.

Enjoyable dinning experience, food good and nicely presented. Service also good but would have preferred to eat in bar not dinning room for greater atmosphere.

The Fat Badger was a gorgeous place to have a moderately priced meal, but fantastic food in a lovely setting.

Fabulous evening at Fat Badger during what must be a tremendously challenging time for restaurants. We were struck by the great service and charisma of all the staff whilst maintaining observance of the rules - can't be easy. Our waitress was friendly, fun and engaging and the food was delicious. Looking forward to returning very soon!

Excellent restaurant located in the heart of Harrogate.

Private parking behind the hotel makes this a great choice as parking in the town is difficult.

Service is excellent and waiting staff are extremely attentive.

Food quality is 5* and the ambience and surroundings make it a perfect dining experience.

Great service. Good food. We went on a rainy Sunday and the atmosphere cheered us up. The staff couldn't do enough for us. We'll definitely be back.

Food and beer were fine. The service previously has been very good but was a bit slow this time with no one taking our food order until I started waving my arms about. In the past I would have gone to find someone but having to wear a mask makes that a chore.
Unlike some places where you can't have a drink first, they have the new rules well sorted out with drinks allowed whilst contemplating the menu and a simple 2 hour rule.

Really lovely place to eat would definately recommend. I think my only comments would be it was a little too dark in the restaurant and the menu was quite limited. The mussels to start were outstanding!

Great first experience of fat badger. Lively atmosphere, festive feel, beautiful decorations and lights. Some normality in a crap 2020

We enjoyed a lovely lunch. The food was delicious and the restaurant was exquisite. We waited rather a long time for our drinks order to arrive even though the restaurant wasn't too busy. We had to remind the waiter to bring our wine once our main course arrived at our table. He was very polite and apologetic. We all enjoyed our food and we will return.

The food was so poor for the price.
We had to send food back because it came out cold and when it came back the dish was red hot as though it had been in the microwave.
I would expect better quality food in a fast food restaurant, it was bland and tasteless.
Service was ok however we had to ask twice for drinks and waited ages for the bill.

The service was very friendly and what you’d come to expect from the Fat Badger. One of the meals was very poor which was disappointing.

The Service was very good, the room and decorations very festive. Overall we enjoyed the visit.

Stayed overnight on the 16/12 after Xmas shopping as we always do at this time of year. The price of the room was excellent as was the table for dinner. 10 % off firs round, and 10% off dinner, adding to value. The moral of the story here is to book early.

Food was excellent, portions just the right size. Honestly was less expensive than we expected. Had some great cocktails too.

Pleased to find a restaurant open on a Monday that provided outdoor dining. Heaters and umbrellas provided a very satisfactory experience. Menu,food, staff and price all good. Would certainly visit again when in Harrogate.
