   Returning customer to the Covent Garden site here. Food is excellent. The waiters have good knowledge of their product and they know just how much you should order. Great value for money. Fantastic ambience too.

   This was my second visit to Fatt Pundit and it’s definitely won’t be my last. The food is beautiful and the whole dining experience is really special. Can’t wait to come back again.

   Nice food but very spicy, or either too sweet. Some portions are quite small. Even though we ordered enough food. Food doesn't all come out at the same time so you could be waiting for the food for a while to pair up with and by then the food has gone cold. Chilli panner was tasty but very spicy it didn't need to be this spicy. Waitress was kind enough to give me a shot of lassi drink to help with the spice factor. Waiter staff were kind enough to keep topping up the water. The sesame sticky veg was very sweet and came at the end so didn't have anything to eat with just tasted like it was doused in hosing sauce. Popcorn cauliflower was the best dish. Egg fried rice was taste but small portion even though the table next to ours portion was larger not sure why. Mock chicken was ok, very very small portion and again spicy. Toilets are downstairs in a corner, toliet needs to be updated and cleaned properly, looking but tired and grim. I would still recommend the restaurant but just as a casual meal if feeling a bit flush or not very hungry, but not as a special celebration. Other customers were dressed very casual.

   Fatt Pundit was okay, I would say the food is average. We went as a group of 4, and was told to order 3-4 dishes each as they were small. But we ended up feeling so full and couldn’t finish the meal even though we got about 2-3 plates each. I would say a starter and main is enough. The sizzling brownie was amazing! I loved that. The waitress that was helping us was very kind and attentive.

    Great food -definitely worth the hype. Service was a bit brusque, especially as our bill for 2 people was £148 including a£16 service charge. You think the waiter could have been a little pleasant instead of rudely telling us we only had 10 mins left to eat our dessert (btw he took 15 minutes to take our orders and I had to ask for some menus - it was an early sitting so wasn’t even busy)

    It’s from the same folks who started Bombay chow. A good place to satisfy indo Chinese cravings but the pricing and the quantity is not justified. Meal for 2 adults and child was £75 (no alcohol and desserts). £7.50 for 3 chicken momos is ridiculously priced but it might be Covent Garden rates. When serving momo or dimsum you would expect 5 or 6 in a plate but just 3 was shocking. Even the portion of rice for £5 is very poor. While I enjoyed the food I may not return anytime soon.

    The food was nice. Quite pricy and probably wouldn’t go again. Lots of other places with great food and more affordable. At the end the service was a let down as the tall man with the dark suit practically kicked us. Gave us 15 minutes to finish our main course and didn’t get a chance to order dessert or more drinks because he wanted the table back. Although there seemed to be plenty of tables available for other customers .

    I had such a lovely lunch here for my friend's birthday.The food was absolutely delicious, very reasonably priced and different to anywhere else I've been. The service was courteous and efficient, but what topped it all off was the surprise free dessert with candle and birthday singing for my friend, how lovely! Will definitely be back!

    The okra tempura and popcorn cauliflower lacked some flavour and both have the same tempura batter so would recommend avoiding ordering both. Favourites were the chilli paneer, crackling spinach and sesame veg

    Our first visit. The service was friendly and quick. Food was absolutely delicious. We are vegetarians so ordered almost everything on the menu. Good portions. V v tasty. Will definitely come again.

    We love this place. Very unique and tasty food. The portions could be a little bit larger (eg 15.5£ curry with only two prawns) and the plates could be a little less spicy , so someone less comfortable with spiciness can enjoy the food more (all the plates were quite spicy). Overall we love this restaurant and we will keep coming back!

    Food was second to none - in fact first equal with Dishooms just down the road ! If I had to offer two observations I would propose they redecorate the loos as they are quite dark and dingy - lighter colours etc and perhaps also offer Wi-Fi in restaurant. Overall a great visit and we'll be back !

    First of all let’s start with the toilet… absolutely disgusting, if they are trying to recreate rural India… this is the place to go. Food definitely isn’t worth the hype and therefore not value for money. Service was ok however we didn’t appear to get the same chat as the others “6 dishes for 2 people etc”. The manager was more interested in seating his mates instead of serving others. Dissatisfied and disappointed.

    Thé food speaks for itself here, tasty and well cooked, unusual combos that work so well. It’s small plate dining but we ordered 3 each and that was plenty, the portions on each ‘small plate’ are very generous. The waiting staff were incredible, friendly, knowledgable and I would 100% recommend this place. Will definitely visit again as I want to try some of the dishes my friends ordered 😂
