At Feather and Hide we like to keep t local... All our suppliers are local keeping our carbon footprint to a minimum.

We buy fresh meats, vegetables, eggs and fruits direct from the farm. We then hand pick what we stock in the farm shop and our restaurants. Our milk comes from Webbery Moos, a local family run dairy with a passion for milk. We bake all our fresh breads and pastries daily. We use local artisan suppliers for our cured meats and cheese.
We have teamed up with Heddens of Woodtown to offer fresh food boxes. These can be pre-ordered through the farm shop.

Amazing service last night (the previous night not so great different waiting on staff. The girl just seemed nervous and not really interested) and lovely food even though you didn’t have the kebabs!!! Mussels amazing. We love this place and it’s always a first choice when staying here. Will be back again later this year if not before!

Lovely little restaurant with a homely interior and great ambience. The attentive service was accompanied with tasty well presented food from starters to desserts. Prices are reasonable. We had a lovely time. Booking is encouraged as the place gets very busy during the peak hours. A big well done for the team! Keep up the good work!

Portions were more than adequate. One of the toasts on the camembert appie was burned but the cheese and chutney were delicious. That appie could have used a spoon for each of the cheese and chutney as we were clearing sharing. Our mains were very tasty and well presented. Fish was perfectly cooked as was the steak. The peppercorn gravy was excellent. The server didn't tell us the daily specials, nor come around and ask us how we liked our first bites. Otherwise the service was very good and the timing of dishes was good. The desserts were all scrumptious - sticky toffee pudding, eton mess, and ponnet. Wine offerings were also very good.

Tried booking for 7 people through open table but would not allow more than 6 to book , a quick email to hide & feather and it all got sorted. Service by Will was excellent but food was a little slow arriving but there was 7 of us and it all arrived together nice and hot. Cheers

This was our second time eating, and we did ask to be in the old restaurant area not the bar area, which they did provide so more open space. The starters were great but the 2 Sirloin steaks that we ordered did not meet the quality that we have had before. To much inner tissue very hard to cut and eat. My wife´s sirloin steak was very thick looked more like Rump steak not long like Sirloin and again had a strong inner tissue going right through it. This looked like it was two sections of the rump very tender and well cooked but far to much tissue. Did make a complaint regarding the quality and the also stated that my wife's was Rump steak, not Sirloin. The young girl said she would ask the chef, heard nothing back. Over all very disappointed and expensive. Staff are great but sorry to say the main dish was not up to standard.

Compliments to the chef lovely meal great steak and sea bass but the menu we downloaded was not what was available. With the quality from experience the chef more than proved himself. Unfortunately disappointed with bland can only assume frozen chips. The saving grace was the youngsters who are a credit to your company.

Over all very great service Sirloin steak was great my wife had sea bass which she liked. Could not fault the food. Staff very friendly could not fault them. Just a bit tight for space to eat in the bar area but over all very good.

Family meal. Child pizza was a good size and nicely cooked. I had duck which was very ordinary and lacking sauce. The vegetables were very undercooked. Disappointing. My husband had lamb which surprisingly came as meatballs and again undercooked veg. The meal fell short of enjoyable. Should have stuck to the fish and chips.

We stayed two nights at Woodford Bridge and ate at Feather & Hide each night. The fish & chips were excellent, and so was the steak we had on the second night. The staff were friendly and helpful, despite being very busy. Overall I highly recommend the restaurant. Definitely worth a visit.
