I’m not a fan of “small sharing plates” so was disappointed to find this was the format. Every plate we were served was absolutely delicious but you feel like you’re having tiny portions of a multitude of different flavours. Quite unsatisfying in some respects. It would work better to limit choices but impossible when five people are choosing….. but will definitely book again.

Probably the best Sunday roast we’ve ever had - the quality for everything, meat, potatoes, roasted veg was fantastic! We couldn’t get over how delicious everything was - we’ll absolutely be back soon for another.

Beautiful decorated little bistro that we decided to try for breakfast. The staff were all beautifully attired and very attentive. We both ordered the Mediterranean Labneh Chilli Eggs and it was gorgeous. Really flavourful. They had the traditional breakfast fare also available but it was nice to see a few different things on there. The coffee was really good too. I would definitely go back. The menu is limited to small plates and cakes but, I would suggest they may add a few more dishes once they have been established for a while. I'll definitely go back

A welcome addition to Ripley village for locals. The menu was tantalising and the concept of smaller plates to share executed really well. Food was excellent and the advice and attention from staff balanced and relaxed. Will be back.

What a beautiful, delectable evening for our reunion. Great atmosphere as you walk in and friendly staff. We had a few menu hiccups with how many cheeseboards were ordered 😳, but this was quickly rectified. Food and wine were sublime - Thankyou x

Small restaurant with farm food shop attached was charmingly attractive in various ways, notably the sourcing of local produce.Our visit was for Sunday lunch and the second ,or was it third, of a number of sittings because of popular demand already.No large loud tables which was a welcome change and which made for a pleasant atmosphere.Traditional Sunday roast excellent with an array of fresh vegetables which were included in the price which was reasonable.However,food could have been hotter.Deserts were fine and fairly priced.Limited choice for both courses but this was fine for us and sensibly reflected the size of the restaurant.Service was excellent.All female, attractive and courteous waiting staff who could all speak and understand good English.Could this catch on? Our first visit and we shall return.Breakfast looks a good choice. Good value all round and highly recommended for a very pleasant experience.

Well, what a revelation! My visit was for their Game Set menu evening. The quality of the produce was outstanding which was then treated with impressive skill by the chefs to produce a truly memorable occasion. If this is normal for Ferma then this will become a must visit venue for foodies. Cannot wait for the next event. You have set the bar high Ferma!! Well done.

Fantastic evening at the Game & Wine Pairing dinner. From the champagne on arrival to the cheese and dessert wine to finish, each course was amazing! Long leg grouse and venison croquettes were my one and two. We'll be back, huge thanks to the entire team.

Would have loved to order from the brunch menu at 12:15pm. No flexibility to add something (like a poached egg) to a salmon dish. The premises would benefit from a reception where diners get greeted and seated. We had 2 ladies standing by us (in a small space) for a long time waiting to be seated.

Ferma is a wonderful addition to Ripley and to the wider Surrey restaurant scene. The food is imaginative and delicious, the service welcoming and efficient and the surroundings totally delightful. On a Saturday lunchtime the restaurant was vibrantly busy; delectable, beautifully presented plates emerged from the open kitchen at a perfect pace - brisk but unhurried. I will long remember the exquisitely delicate Tuna Tataki and the generously robust Dry Aged Sirloin Ciabatta. An impeccable attention to detail shines through all aspects of this absolute gem of a place, from the cleverly balanced flavour combinations to the careful choice of decor and finishing touches. A faultless and memorable dining experience. I will certainly be back.

Lunch with a friend at Ferma yesterday. As a vegetarian, I’m used to limited choice in restaurants and often have to settle for less than exciting options and taste. Not so at Ferma where every mouthful was divine. I chose the delicious cheese croquettes for starter followed by the carrot, squash and tahini - honestly the tastiest dish I’ve had in years. Incredible. The pepper dish was also superb. The service was friendly and attentive and the ambience was lovely. Felt special without being too formal. Would love to return and can highly recommend.

The Sunday menu was good. Thoughtful dishes. I’d encourage a diary free or gluten free option to be offered to guests. The manger was a bit controlling with waitressing staff. He took all the orders at every table making it slow leaving the waitresses only to serve he also took every payment, again meaning it was therefore slow. Made me a bit uncomfortable as the girls are young and it seemed they had all been told not to interact with guests which is a huge shame. It’s interesting as any question I had he then asked the girls to find out. They could boost their own work enjoyment as well as the customers experience by having a chat and connecting. I’d encourage them to be allowed to grow their confidence and to be treated more equally and less as robots. As it made the environment uncomfortable to watch.

Great food. Not sure the ‘small plate’ concept works for breakfast. We were told to order a couple of dishes each but that would have been ludicrous. As it was I ordered the meat skillet and then asked for a plate and once transferred onto a plate it was a full English breakfast in all but name (maybe just serve it like that?). Not sure how adding pancakes or spicy eggs would have complemented it and sharing would have made no sense. Maybe dump the sharing plates concept for brunch… …otherwise, food was amazing. Coffee delicious and service impeccable. Two of us ate breakfast. Both had coffee. Bill including service was just under £30. Amazing value.
