Review summary

AI-generated from verified diner reviews
Fife & Farro delights with "impeccable" dishes like the Wagyu Ragu and authentic Napoli pizza, complemented by a "stellar" service team. Enjoy their "superb" arrabiata sauce and explore a well-curated wine list. While some found the experience uneven, many appreciate the "great value" and charming Pearl location.

Excellent Negroni. Pizza crust is great. Pullman Market is a fun hang.

The food was definitely made to order and from scratch. But the taste was underwhelming and lacked presentation. We had the focaccia, ragu, carbonara, and rigatoni. We wanted the mozzarella, but they were out. The service was average. Service only checked in twice throughout out our visit. Pricing is reasonable and representative of the area. We might give it another try, but maybe we will order pizzas. The pizzas we saw looked much more appetizing.

Veggie Pizza only included spirals of sliced zucchini. Undercooked as well.

Some of the best homemade pasta in San Antonio paired with a solid wine list, strong bar program and authentic Napoli pizza. Their arrabiata is superb. I could put it on almost anyting and be happy. It's also nice to see a Gibson on a drink menu. San Antonio is pretty basic when it comes to cocktails and this was a welcome change.

Somewhat of a letdown on the food. Some many of our friends and family had raved about the food. Maybe we dined there on an off night. The two pastas we ordered were OK, but the pizza had no integrity and toppings just slid right off the slice. The roasted peaches and ricotta are served without a vehicle to consume them. The service was stellar, but for $190 (20% tip included), we don’t plan to return anytime soon.

Brilliant in all respects! We've dined here 4 times in the last few months, and each time the food was impeccable and the service was wonderful. In particular, we love the "Wagyu Ragu" and the "Matty's Peppy", though we've tried most of the menu at this point and enjoyed it all. For the price, the portions and the execution are spectacular. What's more, if you're paying attention -- the whole thing is a lowkey advertisement for groceries you can head out and buy after your meal. The meatballs are make at the butcher's counter, the pasta in the bakery, etc. My tip: the first time we went, our server offered us ranch for our pizza crusts. It's _fantastic_ ranch, definitely take them up on it or ask directly for it. Totally worth it.
