    Shown to table straight away in restaurant Order taken quickly Food bought out fairly quickly (Sunday roasts) Food warm at best - roast potatoes not fresh, Yorkshire puddings cold. Didn’t get a chance to complain as staff were too busy Chicken roast did not come with all of trimmings Did let waitress know and she said she would tell the kitchen, which isn’t that helpful Puddings were lovely Had to go and ask for the bill as it was a busy lunch with 3 people serving Felt like a canteen not a pub

    Waitress was lovely however the food dry and portions small. Items missing from meal and no check on how the food was or opportunity to purchase a second drink.

    Just had a wonderful Sunday roast at the Filly inn. Th vegan option was delicious , a lovely filo wellington. My husband had the roast chicken which was equally delicious with beautiful fresh vegetables and all the usual trimmings. The pub itself is warm and inviting. The staff ( we had Gemma and Martin) were so friendly and helpful. We Will definitely be returning and thoroughly recommend

    Our first time at the Filly inn and it really was enjoyable. The food was delicious and the stuff were very attentive. We will most definitely be back, Thank you to all the staff for a really great experience.

    A truly unique experience at this hotel. We checked in to fabulous character rooms very large king size bed with all amenities. We went into the bar cozy wing backed chairs for snacks and drinks. Very cosy and comfortable with plenty of seating. We went into the restaurant a great wine selection and exceptional cuisine. Great options I had French onion soup and rump of lamb which melted in the mouth. Service impeccable as soon as the waitress left with our mains a waiter bought over a steak knife immediately nothing was too much trouble. Interés menu but with some firm favourites such as shepherds pie. Retiring back to the lounge bar for coffees. After an extremely comfortable sleep breakfast was a delight. Absolutely rate this as excellent on every count.

    Food is just amazing 5 stars all round, staff are friendly and welcomin, the fire was glowing nicely to give that warm ambiance feeling.

    Beautiful vibes, seriously good food, this is my 3rd time here and it's truly wonderful food (deffo try the French onion soup)

    The food was very good and excellent value. The service was excellent, with friendly and efficient staff. The dining room is very nice, well spaced, with good ambience and minimal background noise. My only criticism, which seems petty, is that the potatoes that accompanied the roast dinners were hard and not crispy as should be expected in a restaurant of that standard. Otherwise, well recommended

    Pretty average experience, ok but nothing special, service very poor and charged at 12.5%. A typical chain pub meal that was memorable only because of its mediocrity

    Hoped for a delicious Sunday lunch but instead got a plate of dry roast chicken and what appeared to be aunt bessie roast potatoes and Yorkshire pudding. Veg was ok but creamed leeks were tough. High end prices, Toby carvery roast. Apologies Toby carvery.
