The restaurant is a labor of love for owner and chef Linda Johnsen, who has translated her Italian heritage and family recipes into a flavorful comfort food menu. From her grandmother's Sunday sauce gracing the chicken, veal and eggplant parmesan to the classic sauce in the pappardelle bolognese, traditional ingredients stand out at Filomena's Italian Kitchen. Hector was a wonderful server! Entrees were delicious but the apps and expired tiramisu were disappointing. There’s better Italian alternatives for less money in OC.

Only objection is the $50. per head charge if cancel. I would like to use for my childrens birthdays and gatherings, but will use Maggianos or Mona Lisa as they don't require this charge. If my party came down with covid, I would either need to honor or lose $250.00. I have NEVER cancelled a reservation, nor been a no show !

Excellent service and great fresh tasting food - Really enjoyed the friendliness of the place and menu items. Wines are for sure over priced - I hope they would consider adjusting wine prices. Otherwise we will visit again

This place is amazing, the food is beyond delicious and the service is great, the waiter that has been at that location for 20+ years is fantastic, informative, fun and really made the experience great. Can't say enough about how good the food is, best in the OC for sure

This is a cute restaurant. But the air conditioning was not working so it was quite uncomfortable trying to eat a hot meal. We would have ordered more food and wine if it was cooler. Service was good and the chicken parm was good. We shared the meal and I’m glad bc the entree was huge. Prices were inline for that location. Would we eat there again? Yes we’d give it another try and hope the air conditioning was on.
