Not sure why you’re doing this, when L’Ortolan closed permanently the day after we were there!! Everything about our dining experience was very good., as it always has been. The only criticism is that the bar was a mess with far too many dirty glasses and empty bottles on it.

As always a lovely meal , great service . Such a shame it is closing . We have been going on a semi regular basis for 10years , it is our go to for amazing food . Will really miss going there.

We had a wonderful meal at L'Ortalan with excellent service. It really is a restaurant which is in a different league for the cost. Our only, very small , criticism is that we were in the conservatory which is not as attractive decor wise as the main restaurant and was a little cool.

To celebrate our Son’s Birthday we went to L’Ortolan and experienced the 8 course tasting menu. Every piece of food we ate was absolutely delicious. The staff are all amazing and the setting is just lovely. Fabulous evening, thank you to everyone

Oh dear. It’s no wonder that this restaurant is closing. V v little to eat. Tiniest piece of lamb served for”main” was half inedible fat. Pretentious food. Drab decoration. Extremely poor value. All 3 of us drove home to eat as we were so hungry. Good bye L’Ortalan. Your days are done.

Amazing experience as always. Perfect from start to finish. I have never had anything but a perfect meal here. The staff are amazing and always make me feel welcome. I’m very sad you are not going to be a restaurant after August and if I could afford to, I’d eat there every day I could in August. Thank you for always taking care of myself, my son and our friends. We will miss you.

Fabulous meal, didn’t disappoint whatsoever. Made to feel special as the staff were all wonderful, really nice to experience exemplary catering standards with superb service - which is so rare in the modern day.
