Service was amazing the server was very mindful with my allergy and was very nice. I do think the music could be a tad louder felt like a library. Food was excellent although the menu needed a bit more option overall especially for dessert. Definitely still an amazing place

I was disappointed with the menu choices. Gone are the smoked meats and platters to be replaced with pretty ordinary burgers and a limited choice of main courses. No complaints over the service, it's just not the same restaurant which promised so much when it opened. It is doubtful if I will return.

Hi Stephen Thanks for your review. We are currently training new chefs and therefore have a limited menu at the moment in order them to get some some additonal training and bed them in gently. I apologise that this was not explained to you when you were seated. We will have a brand new menu coming soon. We hope to see you when this has been launched. Fire and Fork team.

Food was overpriced and very underwhelming, meant to be a grill place and literally all that was offered was a steak, pork belly or burgers. Burger arrived and was small and bog standard, the belly pork was mediocre and for the price seemed basic. The only thing that saved the meal somewhat was the burnt ends as a starter. Service was extremely slow and took ages to get served and for drinks to arrive. Table next to us were also unhappy with the service. Staff seemed to stand around chatting mostly. Heard amazing things and was bitterly disappointed. Won't be returning.

We booked for a birthday dinner on Saturday 10th August. We were promptly shown to our table. We were informed that there was only one chef working that evening, consequently there would be a slight delay of around 10 minutes before our food arrived. That was no problem and we were pleased to have been notified. We ordered drinks which arrived a few minutes later. On studying the menu, there were a few dishes missing from the online menu. This caused a little rethink in our choices. We had to call a member of staff over to take the food order. Only to be told by the person who had shown us to our seats, taken our drinks order and brought them to us. “ Have you been told that we haven’t got all the dishes on the menu?”. I questioned this as the menu was already reduced to that advertised, once again we were told it was because of only having one chef. Why didn’t she tell us this on arrival? I did think about leaving. However was aware that we may struggle to find a table somewhere else on a Saturday night. The food was tasty and plentiful. No one came until much later to clear the dishes once we had finished our meal. Due to the wait we decided not to have dessert. A disappointing experience.

We were really excited about eating at Fire & Fork, the pics of their menu items looked amazing but I'm afraid that our experience didn't live up to the hype! We'd booked to celebrate my hubby's 50th birthday & our wedding anniversary and even though this was specified on the booking there was no mention of it when we arrived. We'd also had our original booking cancelled and was told we'd get a voucher towards our re-booking but that didn't happen either. The menu choice was not really varied with 75% being burger options and 3 other main choices, the online menu advertised more choice. We ordered beef cigars & burnt ends to start and they were nice, we both enjoyed our starters. Mains were pork belly & a burger choice both served with fries. The pork belly was very salty, the burger heavily loaded with sauce which made the bun soggy and the fries had absorbed so much oil/fat that they were too heavy to eat. I hardly touched my main as it was too heavy on the stomach. I think it's also worth mentioning that the restaurant ran out of burger patties by 7.30pm which rendered nearly the whole menu obsolete. The couple on the table next to ours were also told that their order couldn't be taken as the chef was on his own and was too backed up, they were sat there for 40 mins and still hadn't had their order taken when we left the restaurant. For a restaurant that is fully booked months in advance I was expecting much more. The food was very disappointing and the restaurant poorly managed in my opinion.

We chose BBQ share platter. Food was cold. What did eat tasted ok. Service was disjointed. I had only for cutlery and plates. When told staff food was cold no offer was made to rectify this. Just sorry about that. I was aware there was an event in the beer garden and limited menu available but not that food would be cold and service minimum. Our table was described as being in the restaurant but I think to call the seating area ‘restaurant’ is a big stretch.

The sharing platter was amazing but few things where unavailable so be disappointed didn’t get to try the corn dogs. The kids meal of plain pasta was just that not very good value for money. Kids menu choice was poor. Overall a good experience and would visit again
