FIRE Restaurant and Lounge
It was just outstanding. Food was amazing, ambience was exquisite. The staffs are very welcoming and friendly. Will surely be going there again. Was there last year for Father’s Day and was back there today for Father’s Day.
To be honest we love fire always our place we go to
For special occasions but was very disappointed with the girl who served us. When we arrived we are asked would be like water and we said yes and we were given bottled water which amounted to €11 on bill we were never given an option of a jug which everyone around us had. Then she was very busy to be fair to her but we were there for over 3 hours and had not recieved a desert menu then when we asked her for the bill she vanished for another 30 minutes it was only the manager coming over at the end who was lovely that helped us at the end that left us heading off in good form otherwise we would have been very annoyed. In saying that the food is always spectacular and the restaurant itself is fabulous. We will be back and hopefully the girl will have been retrained by then
Quality and Flavour of food didn’t match pricing. Expected great things when it came to the steak as a main course but this certainly did not occur.
We booked a table for 5 for my brother's birthday and all got the set menu for €54.50. While we couldn't complain about the food, the service could have been much better.
The fire alarm (no pun intended) went on for a significant period of time and none of the staff seemed to know what to do or direct anyone whether to leave the restaurant or stay.
Also we had asked in advance for a candle in my brother's dessert and the waiter brought down the dessert with a candle that had not been lit and had to run off to find a lighter which defeated the purpose.
There should have been tea/coffee included in the set menu, but we were never offered this either. For the prices we would have expected much better service and attention to detail.
Waited 30 mins for our table that had been booked in advance . Had to remind waiter we were waiting . Very poor service in that regard .
Brilliant service and excellent food perfect for our special occasion. Lounge area downstairs was lovely also for cocktails after the amazing meal.
Bad service and very rude pleople attend these place
Excellent food and service! Waitress noticed I had a parchment with me for graduation and not only commented, for dessert a scoop of ice cream with congratulations written on the plate. Fabulous touch, would highly recommend
Booked here for a special family event. Food was delicious, venue was beautiful and staff were so welcoming and attentive without being overbearing. Cocktails are also amazing. Will certainly be back and I'm delighted with my experience.
Beautiful testautsnt in lovely surroundings. Friendly staff met us on arrival. Waiting staff were helpful and friendly. Food choice and quality were great. Good value for money too. What more could you ask for?
Excellent dinner in Dublin. I highly recommend it!
I have been to Fire many times! Service and food are exceptional from the time you step foot in the door you are well looked after.
Really enjoyed our meal in Fire with 3 schoolfriends.we were celebrating one of our birthdays.65th to be precise.so we're friends for many years. Everything was lovely except for the birthday desert. I was so disappointed having rang Fire earlier in the day to confirm the birthday and description and name of the birthday girl.and then followed up with the same information when we arrived.but yet I had to 'discreetly' tell a manager while at the table and in front of the birthday girl. I don't think thats good enough for an otherwise very nice experience. It should've all been plain sailing.
Food was great however it took us 20 minutes to get a drink in the lounge before dinner. They were not finished making the last drink when we were brought up to our table. They told us they would bring the drink to us upstairs but forget to bring up the drink and when we reminded them it still took 10 more minutes. Our waiter was horrible, we ended up having to switch servers to a brand new waitress who was much nicer and attentive than our previous veteran waiter.
We had the steak and loved it. The service was great.
The table wasn't great was at the corner where staff was putting orders ,then the food was extremely greasy my prawns was swimming in the oil and same with my husband fish not sure why white fish had so much oil on plate, but staff was nice
Dear Vila, Many thanks for taking the time to share your feedback. I'm disappointed to see that you did not enjoy your food with us and I'd like to sincerely apologize if you felt that it was not up to the standards we hope to deliver. I have passed on your feedback to our culinary team who is looking into it. I have passed on your feedback about staff to both front and back of house teams. I hope this does not deter you from joining us in the future. Kind Regards, Jibin Restaurant Manager
Flew in from Sydney 🇦🇺 for the weekend! This was definitely the culinary highlight! We just absolutely loved the place! Highly recommended
Combination of food service and ambiance makes for a very enjoyable evening
The service and food really was excellent. A very vibrant atmosphere for a Wednesday night! I thought the set menu was good value however I was with work colleagues who were only interested in main courses so for those alone I thought it was a little on the expensive side (over €30 for a main). Overall would recommend to friends.
I live in the UK, but travel to Dublin 5-6 times a year and always eat at Fire on one of my evenings, usually accompanied by 1-3 colleagues from other parts of the world. Fire never fails to deliver with good quality food, great service and a good wine selection. It can be very noisy at times due to the high ceilings, but that doesn’t detract from the overall experience. I would recommend any visitor to Dublin to try it out.
We had an enjoyable dinner. Seemed to be a bit confusing as to who our waiter was. We had several different staff waiting on us.
Excellent food and service. Good range of choice on the menu.
Great food, attentive service, huge wine/alcohol list. A great special occasion spot.
Amazing Restaurant..the best food and drinks in Dublin.
Fantastic all round
I would recommend the restaurant for larger groups as the room was far too large and extremely loud. The food was very good however the cost of the food and the loudness of the venue didn’t really sit well with me.
We were sat in the small front room upstairs with three other tables... noise levels were almost unbearable from the other tables. Server accidentally rang our whole bill through twice :/
We absolutely loved Fire, the staff are so friendly and welcoming, delicious cocktails pre dinner kick started a great evening, food was delicious as always. One of my favourite spots to dine in Dublin. I highly recommend it.
Dry dry lamb
It is most definitely my number choice for both business and private dining. Superb customer service, quality of food and fantastic ambience. Highly recommended.
Every time I eat at Fire I am always delighted with the food and service and this time was no different. Having decided to bring clients out for a meal I mentioned to our hostess in advance that i would like a quiet table to allow us to talk business with relative privacy. On arrival our table was perfect and the attention from all the staff to our needs was simply fantastic. We were the last ones to leave but the staff never made us feel unwelcome or rushed us. My clients went home praising the restaurant, staff and location . Well done to all and sincere thanks to all the staff for a very memorable night
Started badly as had to wait almost 45 mins for table. However once at table the waiting staff were lovely. We weren’t in main restaurant which disappointed my friend but I preferred the quiet area and it was cooler. Complimentary bottle of wine to make up for delay was much appreciated. Tbh the food was just fine. Nothing wrong - though could have been hotter - just nothing wow about it. As I said staff were lovely and overall we had a nice evening.
This is a beautiful renovated house, but with tacky touches like neon lights and printed leaflets that resemble a take away menu.
Staff is friendly, but the food is really not very good. Pork was dry, chips a bit soggy and everything too bland.
Our bread plates were dirty and had to be sent back.
Quite a disappointment
Our table was forgotten about. It was s large table and we waited up to 20 minutes for drinks to be served. The food was cold when it came. Very unhappy overall as I booked it as a special event for my wife’s 30th
The food was really good and the chefs touch with the desert to wish us a happy anniversary was very nice. The wait staff in the restaurant were brilliant. Very nice looking venue. My only negative was, we arrived an hour early to grab a pre dinner cocktail because we heard they have an amazing cocktail bar, only to be told sorry its booked out for a private party, OK I can deal with that so we asked could we sit at the downstairs bar and we're told no as there was a private cocktail class on. So we sat at a table and had a beer (we weren't impressed so far) once our table was ready everything was spot on in the restaurant, as I said the food and table service was excellent. So after dinner we asked was the private function over so we could have a cocktail and we were told yes, so we went to the cocktail bar, it was a bit busy so I asked the bar man could we sit at the bar, he had looked confused and said he had to check with his manager, the manager appeared and said the event was still on going that we would have to wait for people to leave (even tough there was no one sitting at the bar) so we decided to leave. Overall really good food and table service. Front of house staff need to be a bit more accomadating and do a bit more to please guests, they seemed a little lost and unsure of what they were doing.
Food was superb. Service was top notch. Would definitely go again next time we are in Dublin.
No bang for your buck. Food was overpriced, underseasoned and took around 50 minutes to arrive. Sorely disappointed. Food looked promising but was bland.
I will be writing to management separately. But as spectacular as the setting is I think “chaos” is the one word that sums up our experience on Friday night.
Fab restaurant for food and Cocktails...the best in Dublin
