Our reservation was late by nearly 45 mins and when asking the bar staff when could we sit at our table the got quiet rude, other than the poor start to the evening the food was good and our waiter upstairs was nice, but having said that all it takes is for one poor link on the chain to leave a bad taste in your mouth, I really didn't like the way we were spoken to by a frazzelled member of staff!

Waiter was appallingly rude throughout the meal and we were charged for another tables bill on top of ours. When we pointed it out the waiter was condescending and did not apologise.

I have always wanted to go the Fire place, as it always looked amazing everytime I passed by, the booking process was so easy, getting there is so easy, the place is beautiful, staff seemed happy, looked like they were enjoying their job, and we were very well served. Maybe with the exception of one person who seemed a bit off, as he was trying to get us to sit on a table at the bar that wasn't cleaned yet, he said with a bit of an attitude: sit and I'll clean it. We also had to wait for a good while to get the table, we actually had to ask when can we go to the table, this is when we felt a bit disoriented. Also, when we got the bill, we felt like we were kinda being kicked out, but we totally understand that you might have needed the table for other people. So all was good, suitable for events or just a chilled out dinner... the price is really suitable for what you get. loved that there was always someone to fill up your water... and there was always someone to check if everything was fine.

Went for a Sunday roast, as we always do wherever we travel to. FIRE had come up as the number one choice when researching a good roast, and it didn’t disappoint. The meat was up there with one of the best roast beef’s I’ve ever eaten, and the portions were huge. Cons - there wasn’t really any starters that either of us fancied and the food is pretty expensive. The meals only come as 2 or 3 course price, so we had to have a dessert which we didn’t really want. However, you get what you pay for and i would definitely return.

Very pleasant welcome at reception. Waited in bar area as we always do for a pre lunch/dinner drink. Find the bar service to be slow and this is always our experience. Even when drink order is taken, it takes a longer than is acceptable time to be brought to the table. This results in our pre meal drink relaxation time being shortened. Other than this experience, all else is good in Fire Restaurant, which we attend regularly

We were with family who flew in from Europe and wanted to be able to enjoy good conversation, and ambience, however the wait staff were continuously singing Happy Birthday to customers tables and approximately 10-12 times during the evening we had to listen to this. It definitely became annoying and we were glad we were glad we were not trying to enjoy a romantic date night as it would have been ruined by the constant singing interruptions! It would have been much more enjoyable without their singing and instead have some nice background music.

Great place but far too noisy. Couldn’t hear a word and as we were a table of 9 we were too far away from each other in s round table. Everything else great.

Not at all suitable for people with allergies, especially if you have a few of them... The solution they had was basically to just remove a bunch of stuff and not replace by anything. The salmon we received looked and tasted incredibly booring

Very nice experience. All staff helpful and prompt. Great ambience and nice seating. Great food too. Was easy to get a last minute reservation and ambience was nice. They have a beautiful courtyard and private dining if wanted. Also, a nice bar area if you want to just sit and have a drink before dinner (they give you the option of having a drink before dinner). Food was excellent and filet was melt in your mouth delicious. Portions large for the type of restaurant.

- Table was in a terrible spot - in a tight corner in between lamp and waiters ordering counter
- Waitress (Asian female) could not speak English well. Did not advise on the food well. Did not seem to know menu well. Did not check on me not once after order was placed.Hence did not order anything further. Had to call her to get the bill, hence did not give her a tip. She seemed busy serving other tables.
- Ordered the prawns which was pretty average in size, not that tasty, however very expensive
-Will definitely not visit Fire again

We had a fabulous night celebrating my birthday in Fire. The staff were amazing, friendly and provided great service. Our table was perfect for 11 people (circular). The room had a great buzz without being too noisy.
We were served promptly by attentive waiting staff who looked after the wine and water throughout the evening.
We all had an excellent meal in a great setting and hope to return soon.

We were running late for our sitting and the restaurant were ok about it but explained we would be able to have 3 courses. That was fine as it was our fault we were late. We all got different dishes and they were all excellent. A lovely ambiance in the place and nice music in bar. Will definitely be back.

The noise level way very high. There were loads of servig staff but impossible to get their attention. Table service was poor enough, intrusive leaning and not removing glasses etc that would not be used. Had to ask for glasses for beer bottles and to get rid of wine glasses from table...took forever to get someone to even look at us for that. They stopped their pre theatre menu an hour earlier than other days, 5:30 booking and no pre theatre, we were literally going to the theatre! I get Saturdays are prime days but just ask for table back by 7 and allow pre theatre. A bit pretentious without the quality to even justify it. Food was ok very edible but not fantastic or memorable.

Problem 1. For my husband to avail of the roast beef, I had to order the same as him.
Problem 2. It was not cooked medium well
Problem 3. The waiter topped up our glasses with water without us knowing we were charged €7 a bottle
Problem 4. For what we got (2 roast beefs, 2 chicken goujons, 1 glass of wine and bottles of water) and what we paid (€122), we genuinely could get nicer elsewhere.

Very disappointing

On the night our server continuously avoided one member of the group. Blatantly refilled everyone else wine and water glasses and continuously left this one member to themselves. Food and value for money was great but the service was a serious negative.

For our pre-dinner drink we found one member of the bar staff downstairs was most unhelpful. When asked do you have Hendricks gin? His reply was "we only sell premium gins here". However the rest of the experience was excellent. Great choice of wines, starter and main fabulous, desert was pre-made and while good not to the standard of the previous courses. The waitress, Alison, who severed us was outstanding. We will be back and I'll remember to ask for a "premium" gin the next time.

It was my first time in Fire tonight and I was so impressed. Service was incredible and food was delicious. My Grandmother has an allergy and we felt confident they had listened and understood. They realised it was my birthday and the entire wait staff sang me happy birthday. A lovely evening and can’t wait to go back!
