Our central location in Borough Market means that London’s best produce is right on our doorstep. We are proud to say that we source most of our produce from Borough Market itself, and our fish is delivered daily from our very own fishmonger, Jarvis, which is renowned for its extensive range of the freshest fish and seafood. We're also winners at the National Fish & Chip awards too!

Delicious food; professional, friendly service; great ambiance, and all surrounded by the gastronomic delights of Borough Market - what's not to like?!
Everything about our visit was perfect. Thank you to the staff for being so professional during these Covid 19 times. The food was delicious
The food was so beautiful just like the girl I took.
Excellent food, good service, but London prices.....
Good food and good service. Food was a little overpriced and wine more so, but was an occasion. Lovely oysters
Informal dining and good solid food
Great meal. Lovely food. All covid-19 guidelines strictly observed. Very clean . Thoroughly recommend
Great food as always. Attentive & friendly staff.
We ate on a Friday lunchtime. The food was excellent and the service was good. Overall it was good value and it felt good to get out and eat in a restaurant again after the last few months. The social distancing measures were fine and did not overly distract from the meal.
My only negative comment is nothing to do with the restaurant itself but rather the lack of diners which made the atmosphere rather flat. Come on people, get out there and give our hospitality business the boost it needs and deserves.
A lovely fish restaurant which I have visited many times over the years. My first visit following the reopening of restaurants on 4 July 2020 was as good as ever.
Delicious food, friendly staff, great location in Borough Market
Felt really nice to be out and it felt safe and the staff are all very helpful and friendly great service and great value
Good service but Dover sole was badly undercooked.
Post lockdown dinner for my wife’s birthday. Fantastic food, great wine and friendly service with a smile. 😀
The food is of the highest quality, well presented and altogether it now forms a very pleasant memory. One to be repeated.
We visited on a Saturday night and should have known by how quiet it was.. lovely staff, safe measures considering corona etc.
But the food just missed the mark, over cooked, bland and no where near worth the money.
I had the halibut special and it was so overcooked it didn’t even flake. The whitebait were greasy, completely unseasoned and didn’t taste fresh. Calamari was good but that’s all.
I won’t be returning unless I hear that they’ve fixed the kitchen! Such a shame.
Pleasant and relaxing lunch with attentive service. Swordfish was cooked perfectly but cod in fish and chips was slightly overcooked. Limited choice of lagers but bottle of Malbec was very good.
Service was great and social distancing well managed. Food did not seem as good as usual though.
Nice to be back post lock down . We were a little tense at first due to first meal out. Impressed with the gel, and general Covid measures. Toilets clean. Everything very clean. Waitress in mask. 4 of us had lovely lunch in the outside area. Food good with plenty of specials. Had some Oysters to start which were plump and tasty. Would be nice to have a choice/selection of Oysters from different places. Great selection of wines and very good service throughout. Not cheap but good standard. We are back!
I have eaten at Fish many times but the food wasn't quite as good as usual. My friend had the fish pie which surprisingly had a lot of mushroom in it - not what you usually find. I had the haddock and chips but the mushy peas weren't as creamy as usual and in fact were a little hard. The fish was excellent but the chips were a little dry. The ice cream was superb.
Good food, reliable service but nothing is outstanding
My daughter and I went as a freedom from lockdown celebration. The whole meal, atmosphere and service was superb and a much welcome return to normal.
First dinner out after returning from a long stay abroad. Good food and speedy service, not to many people in the place.
As a starter we had fried calamari and seared tuna, followed by
fish and chips with Dover sole fillet (fish of the day) and fish pie.
For dessert sticky toffee pudding and some amaretto.
Nice dinner, we will be back!
Fish and chips and service excellent. Salmon well done rather than medium as requested. Tables well spaced and not at all busy which made for a good ambience (in the past we have found the tables a bit cramped and the noise level too high). Overall a fantastic first out of home dining experience since the start of lockdown!
Delicious food and great service! A bit pricey, but worth it being in the heart of Borough Market and surrounded by London!
This was my first outing after the lifting of the lockdown. I must say that I was extremely impressed by the safety and hygiene precautions put in place in order to provide a safe and secure dining experience.
Furthermore, the service and quality of the food was exceptional.
I definitely recommend and will visit again.
It was our first restaurant experience, after lockdown. They couldn’t have been more helpful, clean. They had masks on, gloves, different experience but super helpful and kind. I wish I took the ladies name. Thank you, for having us
First Sunday opening for Covid easing. We arrived 5 mins early and all staff were having a team brief. That was a very good sign. We were welcomed and had to sanitize our hands, complete a contact sheet and taken to table. The staff clearly knew what to do in the new protocols, knew how to apply and carry them out and were very kind and reassuring. We ordered wine and food. Staff throughout were great.
The social distancing was efficient and the food was very good indeed.
We have been to fish a few times and this visit was really enjoyable and worth doing.
We tried to find something that could be improved but could not think of anything.
We Spent 120£ for 3 people. Way too pricey for the value we got. Food was average that I could have made at home. Never again
Lovely venue and great fish dishes. WE really enjoyed our trip. The staff were all excellent
I have been to Fish a number of times over the years and this was my first choice to book.
Apart from it being empty which wasn’t the fault of the restaurant, I must say that I was extremely disappointed.
Whilst the soup starter was very enjoyable, I ordered as my main grilled Halibut.
On asking I was informed the vegetable of the day was kale. No option of an alternative and a bit trendy but I decided to try it.
The plate arrived and duly tucked in. The kale was nothing but twigs and hard stalks and tasted dreadful; I left it.
The grilled Halibut was so over cooked and dry it was like eating paper. I had not eaten all day and was starving so I ploughed on with it. It didn’t get any better.
Having finished, I decided that rather than complain, I would just vote with my feet and never return. There are bountiful bars and restaurants in Borough and Fish is relying on reputation alone now regardless as to what it serves up.
Very tasty food.
The waiter was helpful with choosing the best wine and I wasnt disappointed.
Really good quality fish, friendly service, excellent location!
The fish and chips are really very good at Fish! Each time I come to London and stay in the London Bridge area I make sure to have a meal at this restaurant.
Great food and friendly service would definitely recommend this restaurant
An ok meal, nothing special, if this is the best fish & chips in London then judges couldn’t have travelled much further than Borough Market! 7 pm on a Saturday evening, why do restaurants insist on seating all the table for 2 so close together, I now know the life story of the couple sitting next to us. Service was OK, drink waiters were poor, struggled to get ice for water, and bottle of wine was taken to incorrect table. Won’t rush back, better dinning experience in the area, if you want a good fish restaurant go to Smiths in nearby Wapping.
Excellent service and unbelievable food - above expectations and would certainly recommend
Overall the meal we had was beautifully cooked and well presented.
The apple crumble had to much cinnamon for my taste buds, had I know it continued cinnamon I would have chosen differently.
Not enough fish on the bone choices - most people eating fish and chips!
Excellent service and food could not fault it at all would definitely recommend it to anyone
