Quiet place to relax while enjoing good food, good service as well
Lovely fresh food, friendly and helpful staff, good portions and a great evening overall
Wonderful food and amazing service. Everything was top notch.
Our experience whould have been much enhanced had were seated on chairs with backs.
We went to have a wonderful meal in Dublin , we had no expectations . We arrived and we were seated , given the Menu and ignored for twenty minutes. The two young girls were excellent and we could not fault them. It looked as if there was no person working in the kitchen, we waited and eventually we got a drink and eventually eventually our order was taken . Our booking was for 7.30 , we got there at 7.20, our main course arrived at 8.50 pm , 90 minutes after we arrived. That is not good enough. There was a full house as we left and alot of people waiting a very long time for food with zero communication from the staff, we asked a few times where our food was and the staff sad "shortly" in as nice a way as they could because they too were in the dark about what was happening. The sad thing is when the fish and chips arrived the meal was stunning and we enjoyed the food not the experience.
Amazing food and service with a smile! Our favourite restaurant from out trip in Dublin! Thank you
Amazing place oysters are to die for bbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb
Great service and food. Very central location. Good set menu.
Very friendly service and excellent food
Enjoyed the evening and the food. We will be returning...
Food is fresh and tasty and the staff are friendly & attentive. It never disappoints. Great value for money too.
3 diners on a wet Thursday in Dublin. 2 of us had scampi - we agreed it was the best we have ever had. Third ordered the special which was not available. Fish & chips were an agreeable alternative. We had 2 desserts between us. Delicious key lime pie & Oreo cheesecake. With 2 bottles of wine & water & tip - the bill was a very reasonable €40 each. Lovely ambiance & even lovelier staff. We will be back for sure.
Good food. Lovely staff. Wine was lovely. Were able to have a good chat.
Food was bland, really for the very young. and not for people over 50 im sure its fit for purpose, very basic food very little imagination in preparation, Service was good and friendly pity about the food,
Had a wonderful evening on Saturday 16th November. Staff so friendly seemed genuinely happy to see us
Food was divine. Could not fault anything. Will definitely return and tell all our friends
Great restaurant and great atmosphere
super fresh; nice and friendly service, 1st and 2nd tables shivering specially when thev1st and the 2nd doors are open, but always again. top adress for fish👍🏻
Food is tasty and memu is reasonably priced but the Fish Shack hasn't changed menu in a long long time. But I would recommend for a first time visit. They need to offer better selection of alcoholic beverages - very limited number of wines and beers.
Lovely food and service. Fish and chips were amazing
Food was very good. However, service was lacking. Got seated in the back and had to wait 15 minutes to order a drink, then another 15 to order food.
Excellent staff , food ,service , value for money ,decor.
Will definitely be back again and again.
Lovely restaurant, service was great and the food was delicious.
Always lovely to eat here, food great and the staff are so friendly and efficient,
great food and staff, but 7 stars to Jenny who keeps all happy whit there visit,
Food was great and staff excellent and friendly. Overall good value and go there hungry
Really great fish, lovely wine, crisp lager, great atmosphere, attentive and sparkly staff. Made us feel welcome and looked after. Great meal. A little pricey, but Dublin is not a cheap place these days. Would definitely go back.
Love this place we have been many times the food the staff and the atmosphere are all lovely we will definitely be returning again
The waitress was very good and helped us find a great table. The food was very good, and the atmosphere was buzzing. I'd recommend this restaurant very much.
Highly recommend this place. We got the seafood chowder and the seafood platter for 2. All the food tasted so fresh with each item distinct in flavor. Price was good also. Overall, a great meal for a great price!
Great friendly service, no pressure to rush. Food portions were large and really good
Deadly food...Good staff ..Easy to find..Really enjoyed
We went on a voucher and had to sit in the centre of the restaurant despite asking for another table.
The starter platter was quite bland, and the main course of burger af chips comprised of an over cooked dry burger and odd shaped chips.
The wine was perhaps the worst I have ever tasted... a disappointing experience overall
We got a voucher for a gift although I had been there many times, starters were perfect a lovely platter of food, mains were good too it’s just a really noisy place
Delicious seafood cooked perfectly at a very reasonable price. Will be back
The food Was very good but the Portion was too small for the price.
We had a good dinning experience. The food was tasty and good value for money. The portions were descent and the staff were very friendly. I would recommend though that you provide more fish options for the grilled section like sea bass or salmon.
I found this restaurant searching “best fried calamari”... Was not disappointed! Very good! Not the best in the world, as said by other customers (i’m from Italy the match was tough), but really good and also all the other courses were excellent!
Molto buono il cibo. Raccomandiamo la zuppa di pesce
I’ve been here maybe 7 times, I find the portions are getting smaller especially the chips portion, my husband had to give his Guinness back it tasted awful, it’s also really annoying when people who r waiting to be seated are squished along side your table. It’s a really nice place and it’s awful to see standards slipping
we had dinner at the Temple Bar Fish Shack Cafe and it was a lovely experience, definitely one of the best of our holiday. My partner had 3 naked oysters as starter and they were very tasty, then we both had the Sailors shellfish medley and we loved it! The fish and tomato stock was delicious and we particularly liked the squid and the prawns.
We definitely recommend this restaurant.
