Fishworks - Swallow Street
This chic stylish restaurant is only minutes away from the bustle of Piccadilly hidden away in an exclusive street. The whole restaurant opens its glass window façade doors creating a fantastic atmosphere great for corporate dining and enjoying a pre-theatre meal before hitting the West End.
Blackboards display our daily landings or diners can choose from our classic menu with delights such as piled-high fruits de mer, scrumptious South Coast scallops or simply the best gourmet cod and chips you will ever taste!

Nice little restaurant just off Piccadilly. The food and service was very good! Will definitely recommend.
First visit to Fishworks in Swallow St, but have been to Fishworks in Marylebone quite a few times.
I tried to reserve a table at the Marylebone one for Saturday evening but they were full.Fortunately through Opentable I was able to get a table .l have not used Opentable before but found your system to work perfectly.Thank you.
Lovely, friendly restaurant for lovers of fish, right in the heart of London. Beautiful meal and looking forward to coming back again.
First visit, not disappointed, great restaurant. Hope to return.
Very good choice of well cooked, fresh fish and seafood. Loved the linguine and the grilled seafood platter. Carpaccio also excellent
Our server was just awesome ..
monk fish was the winner !
Food quality was excellent!
Ambience was a little quiet but it was a Monday evening
Lovely meal and atmosphere. The Miso Seafood platter was over priced for what you got but other than that the food was good. Waitress was very helpful.
Lovely atmosphere good food and service. I will go back.
good place to eat good food for not too much Monet friendly staff
Quite pricey if ordering a la carte but the set menu is good value.
The food was incredible so flavoursome and cooked just right. The staff were more then helpful and anything requested was acted upon immediately. I would definitely recommend the restaurant to friends
Manager was aggressive. I am a Doctor and advised , using Open Table, that my wife suffered certain medical conditions through a fear of confined spaces. Normally the staff help by providing a suitable seating area mostly by a window. This time the manager overruled a waiters decision to meet this need and sited her looking at a wall just inched behind me. She also lied about the waiters decision. I have been to Fish Works ever since it started its business in Richmond on many times than I can recall. Quite frankly the way this manager dealt with this problem was a disgrace because other customers heard what was going on. So be warned. Aggressive behaviour shouldn’t be rewarded.
Fantastic food and great service
We enjoyed an excellent meal in nice surroundings served by pleasant and attentive staff. Would thoroughly recommend .
Fishworks is our favourite restaurant in London and we would recommend it to anyone who loves to eat fish. The fish is always cooked perfectly and there is plenty of variety of fish from which to choose and in which way it is cooked. The staff are quite exceptional, charming, knowledgeable and efficient. The menu has quite a number of delicious starters, mains and puddings, with wine to accompany each course if one wishes.
Excellent food and service as well as a good quality-price
We had wonderful Birthday lunch
Great food and wine
We hadn’t been to Fishworks for quite a few years and it was a pleasure to return. The food was delicious and we were very well looked after by our waiting staff. Will definitely return
Great food! The open kitchen is an attractive feature but adds to the - already quite high - noise level. All in all a good experience, though.
What a find! Our waiter was friendly and very attentive. Our soup and fish were delicious. Great value lunch offer. Can't wait to go back to dine from the full menu!
Our second visit and yet again everything was spot on from start to finish. Food is superb, extremely fresh, beautifully seasoned, portions are just right and prices are very reasonable. special thanks to our young but knowledgeable waiter Michael who took an excellent care of us through the evening. We will certainly be returning.
Lovely staff and nice food, but the atmosphere and feeling of being a customer is the difference between a classy restaurant & just an expensive one. This one is expensive but not classy.
Great smiling staff, wonderful food at sensible prices with good wine list!
whilst the meal offer seems good value , the first course of mackerel pate was tiny and so off putting. The main fish and chips was good quality and size. Very noisy at lunchtime , with bare walls and no sound reducing materials evident.
Quite wonderful place to have lunch. Always book this restaurant after going to an exhibition at the Royal Academy. Food is delicious, service brilliant and would recommend this to friends.
Visited for lunch, outstanding as always, can't wait until in London again
very nice atmosphere and price competitive . i would go back.
Nice atmosphere, service was friendly, polite and swift, but most importantly the food was good. I would recommend to friends and family
Fabulous fresh fish. We were advised as to which fish was right for us by an excellent chef, and he was bang on! Superb meal, with excellent staff.
Excellent food perfectly cooked as always great service
Service was not exceptional, dirty cutlery, forgotten cutlery and a very dull waiter. Good good, prefer Marylebone restaurant for ambience and service.
The Swallow St restaurant was great in terms of location, size and layout however the service and quality of the food was better at Fishworks Marylebone on the two occasions I have visited previously.
Friendly and welcoming staff had clearly listened to my booking request for a quiet table (my guest is quite elderly and cannot hear well). We were early but that was not a problem and we had a lovely table for four - despite there being only two of us - in the middle of the room with a view of the street.
The fish - halibut - was beautifully cooked and presented and the staff swift and unobtrusive. My friend, who is interested in gin had the special gin cocktail and when she asked more about it was brought the bottle to look at.
The lemon tart with raspberry sorbet was mouth watering and light - with a thin pastry base - and a generous serving. We were allowed to drink our coffee unhurriedly and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Without wine the bill was £97 for 2 courses - which felt a bit steep. We were very impressed by the fabulous fish counter and watched oysters being shucked before we left.
We really enjoyed the food. The one bad thing was that the mains came before we even finished the starters and felt rushed to eat. Overall nice food and a good resteraunt
Amazingly fresh food, expertly cooked and excellent taste. Service was impeccable.
Great restaurant, been before and will book again when not going pre-theatre. Really wonderful food and service. Very friendly staff.
I love this place. (Excuse the pin). I have eaten here several times and it hasn’t failed me yet. Fish delicious. Good wine. Good service. I fully recommend the crab.
Great food, well cooked
