Riverside setting is great, especially if you can on their patio. The food is decent - nothing spectacular, but good Italian cooking, executed well - I found the burata starter a little bland and the aubergine parmigiana a touch overseasoned, while the roasted peach and ice cream dessert had a barely roasted peach.. but these were small points in food execution.
Would recommend for a casual lunch/dinner, or something more formal like a date due to the setting.
The menu is a bit too carbs focused (pasta, pizza, etc.) but besides that it is yummy and service was great (blonde Polish girl with a constant smile even behind the COVID face mask).
I loved the ambiance and the service was great but our food was less than exceptional to say the least. The pasta was way too undercooked. While we can appreciate al dente pasta, our meals were just frankly under cooked and hard. Also my beans were undercooked and just not good.
Lovely food and very attentive service
Il posto è molto carino ma dentro c è stata un po’ di confusione ed n servizio molto lento Sismo stato servito dopo un ora la ragazza so è scusata in mille modi ma erano in pochi per assicurare un servizio di livello
Not bc a good experience. I never review restaurants but felt compelled to do so on this occasion because it was so disappointing. Took 25 minutes to order a drink and 45 minutes for food. We asked about sharing antipasti between 4 adults and ended up with 4 meatballs (wrong amount, we were told 5) and a prawn dish that had 2 small prawns. I then ordered the fish mixed grill for £26.50 and got 4 small prawns, a scallop and a third of a sea bass fillet! Then there’s the kids meal where my 3 year old wanted a margarita pizza and got one that had been cut from a larger piece (obviously shared with another order and was almost all crust. You also have to wait 20 minutes between ordering drinks and their arrival.
I would have complained but was with family and didn’t want to highlight the disappointment we obviously all felt. Not a good experience!!
Nice food and vibe!
We visited Fiume in Circus West Village, Battersea, for lunch. All four of us had the set menu - an Evening Standard promotion. The choices were good and the food was excellent, cooked à point and presented artistically. Sadly, I have to report that the service was appalling; that is, the time of waiting for our main course in an almost empty restaurant was unacceptable. And then again the wait for our desserts. We will go back to give Fiume another try and would not discourage others who might well find a different scenario.
Welcoming with good atmosphere. Knowledgeable bar manager produce stunning vodka cocktails. Friendly waitresses especially Matilde. Enjoyed meatball antipasta followed by flavoursome wild mushroom lasagne and wild boar ragu pappardelle. 1/2 litre Trebbiano. All good value at £90 inc service. Highly recommend.
Amazing place! Real Italian food, great atmosphere and service was brilliant from the door to the Bar and to the table!
Overall a good experience, only problem service was very slow
Great service, excellent food
Brunch. Food was good, but small portions, service average.
Good food and very good environment. A bit more expensive for Italian food as pasta is sold too high.
Great food at a great price (i.e. set menu). The service and location were also a plus.
THE FOOD WAS DELICIOUS.
THE ONLY PROBLEM, DURING THE COFFEE TIME, WE HAD A SMALL VISITOR GOING AROUND THE TABLES WHICH WAS VERY UNUSUAL FOR ME.
Fantastic authentic italian dishes, high quality, beautiful presentation. Love it
Pointless to book in advance as we had to queue for 15 minutes, during the 15 minutes I tried to talk to staff twice to see what was going on.. i was told to ‘wait’. The two girls who skipped us in the queue seconds before managed to get the table we reserved ‘roast by the river’ and we were placed further back. After asking for service at our table twice we finally got to order and the roast dinner we had booked.. was out of stock? You could have told us before we travelled 40 minutes to get there? No? Eventually we got the lamb ragu which was very good but didn't start to make up for the service..
Great food as always! The veal is to die for
We had a wonderful three course meal here, each one absolutely delicious and authentic. Service was perfect - attentive but not overbearing. Will definitely eat here again.
This was a meal with family. I've been here before and have always loved their pasta dishes. The crab tagliolini is my favourite. Just the right bite, temperature and flavour. The restaurant has a nice, smart casual atmosphere with a view of the river. It can get quite lively and buzzy.
I think the restaurant was having an off day. The food was good but the service off. No cutlery, took forever to get served and for drinks to arrive. Had to ask for condiments, the bill was wrong and drinks warm.
The food was good. The waiters looked busy but the ones that weren’t said they couldn’t help as it wasn’t there section which was a bit nonsensical.
We were given toast as bread - not sure what that was about?!? Presumably stale and masking it?
Great set menu. Good food and portions. Veal Milanese is outstanding.
Beef Sunday roast was amazing. I would definitely recommend this place for food, service and atmosphere.
We chose this place as it was close to the river. We were unfortunately quite disappointed. We booked prior however were told we'd need to wait for a table. We were given a nice table location however they did not set it up. The front of house lady was not welcoming, seating us seemed like a chore and we were just standing about. We then sat for 45 mins before being offered even a drink and the chance to order. We had to grab a waiter eventually as we felt ignored, and started to get irritated. It took nearly 1 hour for a drink to arrive, although I must say the cocktails were actually very good. The food was nice, however the side salad arrived 10 minutes after the main. A different waiter came towards the end to offer dessert and coffee and he was pretty efficient. As someone who worked in the service and hospitality industry for a number of years, this fell way below the standard of service most London restaurants offer, service was slow, the table was bland (not table cloth, flowers, candles, no cutlery on the table either). Food was nice and location is good, but its not cheap and could make a lot of improvements.
Perfect for a sunny Saturday evening.
Superb service as always and delicious food.
A lovely restaurant right on the water, a shame we couldn’t sit outside even though we requested it a while before. The quality of the food was very good, however, due to it being ‘brunch hours’, the menu was much more limited than we had expected. The staff were all great.
Extremely slow to find our pre booked table. Service slack, waiter more interested in looking at the young girls and chatting with the bar staff or staring out across the river rather than paying attention to the needs of all the clientele.
Food served by some one other than the waiter who was pleasant enough. Our bottle of white wine was taken from us and put in a cooler far away from our table so we had to ask for it on numerous occasions.
Not impressed at all.
It took more than 5 minutes to get menus after we were seated. We then had to flag down the waiter more than 10 minutes later to order drinks. Perhaps he was having a bad night but he did not make us feel welcome, as if we annoyed him when ordering food or drinks. Food was good and it was nice to sit outside on the patio.
I respect the fact that someone could work 10-12 hours but please do not show it to your guests. Unfortunately the female (I think) Italian waitress had this bored/tired/couldn't-care-less attitude ,which frankly, stained the whole service experience. Our male waiter was great. Quick, attentive as he should be.
The food was nice. Had the calamari and the Burrata Tortelli. Would definitely reccomend the Pana Cota for dessert. Really fresh and summer-y.
The meal for two people, (two starters, two pasta mains ,two desserts, two pints of beer and an aperol spritz) was slightly overpriced for the quality and especially the quantity and the portion sizes we had.
Good restaurant that serves some good food. These guys know how to make lovely tasty sauces for their dishes.
I wasn’t a fan of the pinsa, which reading reviews seemed to be a mandatory requirement. I found it an unimaginative garlic bread. Other dishes however were fabulous.
The food was absolutely stunning, the service was kind attentive and relaxed and we left feeling like we’ve just been on holiday. Amazing place! Will absolutely be coming back! To all the staff - truly spectacular job, thank you all so much!
Nice location and ambience with attentive staff, especially the manager. The food is reasonably priced and will not disappoint. Worth a visit if you're in the area.
So glad we tried this place - great staff and food will go again
Lovely ambience and great online photos. The food wasn’t what I expected also slow service as it looks like they were short of staff. I hope it improves as it has a great location
Nice location by the river at Battersea Power Station. Brand new establishment. Food is poor quality very small portions massively overpriced.
Nice environment, very pleasant, relaxed lunch
One of the best Service experiences in London so far. Excellent
