Excellent service, really good food. Lovely little restaurant in South Ealing

First time visit to Flame & Fire, really delicious food, very enjoyable dinner, so pleased to have this as a local restaurant, a great addition to the choice in South Ealing.

Enjoyed our meal very much. A friendly welcome as usual. Neighbourhood is lucky to have such a lovely restaurant.

Service was fantastic. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating as we had a birthday cake etc. They offered us the opportunity to taste the wine before we purchased. All in all would recommend!

Absolutely delicious food and lovely service but, for me, the violin music didn't quite work. The violinist herself was brilliant but I just found it a bit too intrusive, in a small space, after a long, tiring week. I feel music in a restaurant really needs to be in the background. Apart from that - it's really, really great!

Lovely evening at this restaurant with the added bonus of a live piano singer, he was fabulous. When we first arrived the front of the restaurant was empty and we thought twice about going in. I'm so glad we did the restaurant was at the rear and was packed as much as it could be in the covid situation. Will definitely be returning. Thank you for a lovely evening 😊

We tried this restaurant several times in the past and were disappointed with one aspect or another. This time, the food really was excellent and both my husband & I were very pleased with our choices HOWEVER: the restaurant had run out of one of the main cuts of meat (filet steak) which was one of the reasons we went. Also a side dish was unavailable - which bearing in mind there are only a few, meant restricted choice! Secondly inconsistency in service. This has happened before. There should be a "script" when people are seated at their table i.e. offer drinks, offer water etc. This was simply not followed which meant different service experiences for each table. Also a minor but irritating point - please level all the tables!! They are simply never level and always wobble one way or the other. Minor points of improvement could make this an acceptable experience change to a spectacular one.

Really friendly staff, lovely decoration, food was delicious and can’t wait to go back to try more 🙂

Meal . I traveled from Thurrock in Essex and brought my mum and kids. Enjoyed the food and friendly staff . Only negative is most of the desserts contain nuts. Would be good to have choices or desserts without. As my twins don’t eat ice cream and tend to go for the adults desserts when we dine out .

We had dinner on Friday day, the restaurants was cozy and busy but not that crowded. We started with a grilled halloumi followed by a cote de beuf . Food was amazing and the quality of the meat extremely high. We closed the night with a desserts, cheesecake and raspberry roulade and again quality was over the top. The service was excellent, the girl that served us was lovely, welcoming and professional. This place deserve a second visit, for sure.

This was my first visit to this restaurant. It was a good experience overall if not a little quirky. The food was good, though the sirlion steak was a little on the tough side! The fish was lovely. Staff were friendly and accomodating.

The experience started off well and present. We enjoyed the starters and drinks but once we got to the main meal it all went down hill. I am sure others will have a better experience then us but based on this occasion I can not recommend this place.

We ordered two Steaks, a sirloin and a ribeye - both costing over £20. Both were asked to be Medium-Rare cooked, one ended up more Medium to Medium Well Done and the other was a mixture of raw and well done. After telling the 2 of the staff and the owner (Who is also the head chief) they refused to acknowledge that the food was raw. The shrimp that came with the meal tasted like rubbery frozen food, would had been nicer to buy from Morrisons.. and they costed £12.

It also took multiple attempts to return the food to get anything done and took them over 30 minuets after we finished eating to find out how to settle the bill. They only took £10 off the uncooked steak, so we ended up paying for the rest of the mediocre meal as we just had enough and fed up of the delays and the way it was handled.

The most amazing food and the staff were all so friendly and attentive. Definitely coming back soon!

Excellent service and staff were attentive, accommodating and very welcoming. We had a great time for my husband’s birthday. Only recommendation would be to perhaps add a cocktails menu. On the day, the sea bass and lamb were unavailable, but the food we ordered was absolutely delicious!

Always a great experience. Friendly service, good wines and cocktails, and some amazing food. Steaks never disappoint, always cooked perfectly, and the King Prawn starter is one of the best ever.

Definitely the place to go in Ealing.

Good food and service but a little overpriced

A very comfortable restaurant with attentive staff. Delicious surf & turf. Managed a meal out with two children under 5 as well!

I LOVE this restaurant it is fantastic. Food is always brilliant, super tasty, cooked perfectly! Me and my partner always say after ever dish, wow I think that's my favourite! Portion size is just the right amount, you won't leave hungry, we sometimes can't fit desert in so ask to take it home for later! Its medium size for a highstreet restaurant very quaint and lovely, staff are always welcoming with perfect service timings!
Generally I think my favourite place to eat in London!

Lovely evening good social spacing and the food was really nice I had the Sea Bass and my husband and son had steaks. All very well cooked and the calamari we had as a starter was particularly good. Service attentive but not over the top. Would recommend.
