A classic Porterhouse Cut, Combining the Flavor of the strip with the tenderness of the Filet
This is one of the top steakhouses in Westchester County, hands down. Great service, quality steaks. The non-steak (Italian) items are awesome as well. Good cocktails, fast service. Can't go wrong.
Flames Steakhouse restaurant is very nice on the outside. On the inside, it's very dim, and not much atmosphere as other places we're used to. To be a steakhouse, my husband had the filet mignon and it was kind of tough, hard to cut and seems like their food has absolutely no flavor. I had the salmon with garlic mashed potatoes. Completely bland. They said the salmon was wild caught but what a waste of meat and fish for the steak and salmon to be tasteless. A little salt and pepper or seasoning without salt goes a long way. For the prices they charge, nothing we had is worth the price. We ordered the baked clams oreganato and you needed a magnifying glass to find them. You get six but six tiniest clams. Mashed potatoes were nice and creamy but it needed butter, salt and pepper. No taste, not even a hint of garlic. We don't mind paying for good food and ambiance but Flames Steakhouse is not it. That filet mignon should have been melting in your mouth and it was a fight just to cut it. We won't be back although the staff was absolutely great. They were taking plates and silverware before you knew it was gone, filling your glass with water and asking if you wanted another drink. The creme brulee was ok although I've had creamier. The house salad was beautiful and healthy, salad dressing not sure what it was, again not much flavor.
The service was wonderful. Food was very good, but not outstanding. I’d expect more for the price.
We are big fans of Flames. Service always great. Food was delicious as always. Corner table, perfect! It is expensive but no more so than any other steakhouses we’ve been to and definitely much better!
Amazing lunch. I highly recommend. Steak was amazing along with the appetizers. The wait staff is top notch and their recommendations were outstanding. 3 of us shared a porterhouse for 2 and a bone in rib eye! We will be back soon!
Truly disappointed with this place that was touted on a particular Facebook group page. The service was honestly 1 star at the most. When we arrived we were the only patrons at 12:30. The waiter - no greeting, no introduction of himself- just asked brusquely what we wanted to drink. Tap is fine. He came and gave us the water. Then he asked if we wanted anything else to drink -and I proceeded to ask for the wine menu- like how am I going to order any wine w/o looking at your list?? The food was okay- we all ordered some form steak- tomahawk, filet mignon, and another steak.
It was my husband’s birthday, we ordered a chocolate dessert. I mouthed to the waiter to put a candle on the dessert. He came out and brought the dessert with the candle. Sand happy birthday. But no forks! We had to ask for them.
If the waiter was in training (which clearly he should be) it should have been stated in the beginning so I could be understanding. I will say there was another waiter with ours who seemed genuine. I’m usually one to tip 20% but I couldn’t do it.
This place was not busy at all. When we left there were only two other tables with patrons so it wasn’t because of that. I honestly didn’t feel respected and for the price of the food I am also paying for nice service.
Honestly go to the city for better service and food.
Food outstanding as usual. Service not so much. We were ignored several times during our dinner. Waited very long for someone to take our order. Were never offered more bread, had to ask for water. I went to the front desk to voice my concerns and service was a bit better after that. We took family there and it was their first time. Doubt they will return. Disappoibting service but great food.
Been to this place many times, always had a great meal, last night was the exception…steak wasn’t nearly the same quality
Everything was wonderful, but the prices are on the high side.
Excellent- friends 40th birthday lunch
We had a magnificent time at Flames. The care and attention of the staff is outstanding. The food was fabulous. We had a lobster salad and a Tomahawk steak. We can't wait to go back.
Good food, midland service.
Champagne by the glass was partially flat. Other than that, another fantastic meal.
Spectacular service, excellent food. Great ambience. Great for any occasion or just if you want a great steak!
Stopped here for dinner early Sunday. We only eat outside because of grandchildren. When it started taking everyone could not have been nicer or more accommodating. Food was delicious as added bonus..
We were treated very well. The staff were helpful and constant. The dinner was as good as any steakhouse we have been at. From Flemings to Ruth’s or Shula’s.it was as expensive but a very homey touch. The owner was on site and stopped by several times to check on us. We loved the ambiance .
OUTSTANDING food. Wonderful staff. Friendly thoughtful owner. A MUST visit !!!!
Great meal for hubby's bday...personally love the veal shank... and t-bone cooked exactly as requested. Every bite was delicious & looking forward to our next occasion to enjoy real deal steakhouse!
The entire experience was very disappointing.
The best part is the ambiance and the bread,
My friend and I ordered the ribeye. In a steakhouse when I’m paying $65 for a steak I expect it to be cooked perfectly, served perfectly and taste delicious. I ordered mine medium rare it came out medium. The server was putting slices in my plate and one almost ended up in my lap. The steak was just not that tender.
There were 4 of us and they bring out 3 entrees with sides. Who does that? Bring out all 4 entrees then sides. We had to wait and ask twice for the fourth.
They play background music much too loud you can’t have a conversation.
Tables for 4 are much to small to fit dishes, steak platters, side dishes, glasses making for an uncomfortable experience.
Excellent quality and service. We enjoyed our meal very much. We will be back.
Always delicious! Steaks juicy and tender. Best creamed corn. Service is always very good. It is pricey but I have not been to any steak restaurants that aren’t. Flames is our favorite.
Good food and good service, always. Our go to steakhouse in Westchester.
Great food! Unfortunately my table was next to a table of screaming children who played with their toy trucks next to the open table near me and the Parents did NOTHING!!
Fabulous restaurant. We love eating at the bar where there is a gorgeous bartender. Actually all the staff is handsome.
Lobster appetizer and crab appetizer the real thing.
Great evening out celebrating a HS graduation. The porterhouse for two was done very well as well as the 16oz Lobster tail. The appetizers were on point, Oysters Rockefeller, French onion soup and burrata. Shared a bottle of Moet. The weather prevented us from dinning outside. a bit pricy but well worth the evening out.
My favorite neighborhood Steak House and mind you we have very upscale steak houses in my neighborhood including Mortons , Benjamins, and Ruth Chris but FLAMES is the best!!!
What a find ❣️Excellent food , knowledgeable & attentive wait staff , highly recommended!
Amazing staff amazing food just amazing
Was visiting the area for a weekend getaway and tried Flames based on reviews. This place is awesome. Great food, great staff, well worth the price! Great evening and memorable experience. Highly recommend dining at Flames! The wine menu is terrific as well, a great selection at very reasonable prices.
The place is perfect for a nice and intimate dinner.
Excellent food and service! The staff is warm and welcoming
This is the second time we have been to Flames and the first time we ate indoors. The food, especially the steak and the appetizers, are really good. The restaurant was, for me, too loud, and the prices on the sides were too high.
Excellent food, and attentive service make this a place to return to!
Found Flames on Open Table and with a rating of 4.6/5 I thought it was worth a try. Boy, was I wrong. The staff was friendly and attentive but that is where the good ends. We were
Two couples that order the Tomahawk Steak for two. No prices were disclosed for the special menu item and while it was our fault for NOT asking, it was the worst steak I have ever tried to consume. It was almost all fat and the meat that was there which was supposed to be cooked medium was more like medium rare. The outside was overly charred. If I consumed 5 bites it was a lot. The cost for each steak was $170!!!!! Overpriced is an UNDERSTATEMENT!!! The sides were marginal and the desserts were nothing to write home about. We would have done better at Outback.
Had a lovely birthday and Easter dinner. The food was delicious, the service was attentive, they had a high chair for my granddaughter, and they could not have been more gracious.
Waiters try to upsell everything. Too many waiters and no one knows what any one else is doing. Ordered drinks before dinner, got them when we finished. Was told our “special”
Tomahawk steak was $130...it was $165 and when questioned , our waiter said he never checks prices when he goes out and “what do you want me to do, take the difference out of my own pocket”. Unprofessional servers. Dessert was like a cart from the 80s....basic and boring and not fresh. Our COLD Caesar salad (tasteless) was served on HOT plates. Would never recommend this place and wish I never went! Total waste of money and time! Awful!
Beautiful service waiter was awesome food was great and fulfilling
The service and the food was delicious. A bit pricey but definitely worth it. Seafood dishes were to die for.
Good delicious. Staff attentive
Expensive but worth it fir did yak occasion
