Everyone is spaced out well and all servers are wearing masks. The menus are viewable via a QR Code. They are definitely taking the necessary safety precautions.

What a great meal. Food was creative and fun, yet not too chevy. It was heartwarming, soulful, and tasty. Service was great as well.
Had dinner outside here last weekend. Good was superb, I had the chicken sandwich with side salad instead of fries. Everything tasted fresh and homemade. The biscuit was the best one I’ve ever tasted. My boyfriend had the brisket which was also very good but he can’t wait to go back to try the fried chicken. Outside dining is the best we can do for now but I’m looking forward to going back and eating inside someday.
Food was good. Enjoyed the menu variety. Place was charming. Service left a lot to be desired. Each course delivered to the wrong person, main course was totally wrong. Instead of the Pig in a Blanket they delivered a burger... which I had had as a dinner on the road the night before... and... it wasn’t all that special. I only decided to keep it because my girlfriends entree was already out on the table and it was getting late in the evening. Two cans of beer were brought to the table with no offer of glassware to pour into. I despise drinking direct from a can. But it was near impossible to get the attention of the two person wait staff. Our waitress either cared less, was overwhelmed or her mind was somewhere outside of work. She was pleasant though.
Worth the trip at least once. I’ll give it another go as it’s reasonably priced and the food was decent, but not great., and there are a few items I want to try, especially the Pig in the Blanket, which Is all I wanted from the start. Service however... needs a tune-up. Overall cool little place.
Everything was great. We went for restaurant week and got a great deal. They even offered a free Miller light with the meal. I am more of a light meat eater, so I was disappointed in the dark chicken with the chicken and waffles. The waffles were amazing. Great location and boy!
Made a reservation for a birthday dinner. Was called 15 minutes before reservation to be told restaurant was not open.
We used Restaurant week to explore this casual country comfort restaurant. Food very well prepared with ample portions. Enthusiastic and attentive staff, including a visit from the chef to ask if we enjoyed our meal. Nice addition to Passyunk Avenue variety of eating venues.

We went during Restaurant Week and choices on the menu were well chosen. The flavors of the avocado toast were uniquely combined to ready my taste buds for the fried catfish entree which was a sensational deviation from the normal fish and chips. Extra crispy outside, mild and tender on the inside accompanied by fries that were also tender crisp and flavorable. Wonderful experience! Friendly, comfortable and unhurried atmosphere with a bonus of Friday night live music. Summed up in one word, "GO!"

My husband had the 3 courses for $25 which was a great deal! He had the poutine, the pork sandwich and the red velvet cake.
I got all side dishes: pork roll, grits, sausage gravy and biscuit

The food was amazing! I went for restaurant week with my partner and the deal was fabulous. $25 for a three course meal that had me properly stuffed by the end. Super cozy atmosphere and incredibly nice server.
We love this place! This is the 4th or 5th time we’ve eaten here. My teenage boys had the burgers and loved them. I had the ribs (2 huge ribs with a ton of meat) and my wife had the chicken. My wife said this is her favorite fried chicken in Philadelphia. They do live music on Friday nights, that why the noise level was moderate. It’s a BYOB so you can have a great meal without paying an arm and a leg! Highly recommend checking this place out.

This is a unique East Passyunk gem. Flannel has both southern charm and Philly friendliness. Everything we had at dinner was delicious-- ribs, pulled pork and the best friend chicken in Philly. We'll be back for brunch- my friend had the eggs benny on cornbread that he said was amazing. So happy to see this kind of creativity and a host who really knows what he's doing!
A little bit of the South in South Philly. Loved the short rib poutine and the Mac Daddy. Will definitely come back for brunch (but not today as I’m still full ;) Super friendly staff!
Always amazing! We have brought numerous groups to Flannel now and everyone has remarked how spectacular their experiences have been. Some of our favorites are the short rib poutine (incredibly tender and flavorful), the avocado toast topped with an egg, chicken and waffles; Pigs in a Blanket sandwich, and Mac Daddy (my personal favorite). And their cornbread is so buttery, it’s definitely the best cornbread we’ve ever eaten.
The atmosphere is very homey and comfortable, with the aroma from the coffee bar hitting you when you walk in. Marc and his staff are very friendly and have a great passion and love for southern food, and they do a great job sharing it with their hometown of Philly. One visit is not enough.
Love the ambience at Flannel-down to earth, warm & charming. The staff is friendly & attentive. Definitely recommend starting your meal with an order or 2 of the cornbread. My son loved his Last Fried Chicken Platter. The Flannel Burger was delicious and cooked just the way I like. We enjoyed another wonderful meal here and will continue to come back.
Great neighborhood spot. The rib was succulent & much bigger than anticipated. Had to take half of it home. The hummus was creamy & delicious. The poutine was gratifying to say the least. They were sold out of the chicken, but the pig in a blanket was one of the best sandwiches I ever had (sloppy & enjoyable).
