Second time coming here and it just wasn’t the one, unfortunately. The service was really good, they almost brought the food out a bit too quick.
Vibe was good.
Food wasn’t great tbh. Sushi wasn’t all that, chicken wings were terrible and buns were ok
Excellent food. Great venue. Going again this week!
Great food, service very average!
Great service. Mediocre food. Overpriced.
London has MANY exciting Pan-Asian/Asian-Fusion restaurants.
Staff, don't do this; Pressure your guests to make an order using 'we need the table back at 2030' as a reason. Especially when the table isn't needed at 2030 and especially when it isn't used for the rest of the night. (I passed the restaurant an hour later on the way home to find no one was sat at our table)
Sake cocktail drowned the delicate flavour of the sake.
Great staff and great place to eat, but the food itself wasn’t great. We had ceviche and it mainly tasted like chilli - I imagine the meat and buns might be better
Poke dons are a great option for lunch! Wish they had their full pokedon menu again though
Great bottomless brunch. Excellent service and food.
Ramanita was absolutely amazing! She even taught us some amazing Lithuanian words we can use to our work colleagues! Thank you for the great hospitality!
Loved the food from the spicy tuna to the Miso Brisket main.
The ceviche was too sour for my liking and very little fish on the plate.
Noise and music made it really hard to have a conversation.
Service very good and attentive.
Terrible food. Cold. Synthetic. Won’t return
Great staff, really friendly and nice.
Did the brunch. Continuous filled up our glasses.
Good food !!
Delicious food in a lively ambiance
The food was served very cold, the steak was not freshly made and the wings were chewy enough that we couldn’t eat them.
Nice ambience and food.
the food was very tasty but the portions are on the smaller side!
Food was great and the service good.
Unfortunately, the hostess was fussily accommodating of the fact that we were 45 minutes early although there were plenty of empty tables and it remained that way well past our allocated booking time. Given seating availability, it would have also been nice to have a table where we could face each other rather than the "bar" seats facing the open kitchen, where I did notice one chef who had their mask below their nose the entire time...
Music was a bit too techno but the ambience was nice and the menu made me nostalgic for Peru.
Amazing food, especially the Japanese fried chicken bao buns!!
Great experience. We loved all the food we had and the service was very good.
Service was slow but food was nice. They missed a couple of things when I ordered them, so had to reorder. Food is locely though, always enjoy Flesh & Buns
Brilliant food, good atmosphere, friendly staff, great for a date night
Awesome, food here was delicious and well cooked, well recommended
I came to Flesh and Buns after trying the delicious pork rib at the Taste Festival in London earlier this year. We ordered the torched salmon sashimi, short beef rib mains and the pork rib mains (both coming with baos) and the doughnuts. The torched salmon was average and sliced too thinly to have a proper sear (the sauce was also too sour). The short beef rib was ok but the smokey flavour was so strong that I almost suspect some sort of liquid smoke was used ... I know the waiter mentioned that the ribs were smoked for several hours.. but even when I talked to my friend hours after the meal, I could still taste a strong smokey flavour on my breath. I felt like I had been smoking. At the festival, I recall paying something around £7 for one pork rib. At the restaurant the pork rib they served was almost the same size as I had at the festival but £27 (with two baos). I think for the price for the main pork rib I expected two or three. The pork rib was tasty but very overpriced. The doughnuts were very tasty and the highlight. I'm grateful the restaurant deducted the cost of that dish (because they forgot the initial order and we had to remind them). Service was good and the restaurant had a nice ambiance but just a bit disappointed with the pricing and some of the dishes.
My partner and I did the bottomless brunch for £39 and it was out of this world! From the moment we sat down the drinks were flowing and the food was outstanding. Will 100% be coming back!
Nice place, good service, buns were tasty but expensive. Very good wings. Poke bowl was very poor! Purple brocoli side was a few meagre limp bits of greens, soaked in sauce and covered in something crunchy, not good.
Overall, some tasty stuff but overpriced. Much better experience when we came a few years ago.
Our food was great, flavour great, tasting menu was very generous. But unfortunately this was spoilt by the extremely loud repetitive music they were playing. We couldn’t hear each other talk. I asked them to turn it down a bit, the front of house stared at me not responding and pretended to but didn’t 😂 I then asked the waitress who said she would try and she couldn’t hear when doing orders either. It stayed loud for a long time. I wouldn’t recommend because of this. My friend had been before and said the loud music was a new thing. Totally unnecessary on a Wednesday night no one looked like they were after a party.
The food was coming out super quick. So we had to ask them to slow down because they would bring another course without finishing the first one. Struggling to get all the plates on the table they didn’t get the hint. To be fair after we asked they did slow down.
Lovely food ruined by very loud music and a rude front of house unfortunately for a expensive meal.
Solid as always
Really delicious meal and fantastic service.
Food was absolutely incredible and the service was excellent
Great experience with very tasty food. Very good service, you have to try the Smores dessert.
Amazing food, off a quiet street, good service with lovely waitors
The food was amazing, but the service to the table was very slow, all dishes came at a different time, and my sister's dish (birthday girl) was the last to come so we all watched her eat.
The food was exceptional, however as soon as we arrived we were told several times that we only had the table for 2 hours and then rushed through a tasting menu with no real time to enjoy it or catch up with my friends who I had not seen in 3 years. It is a shame because the staff seemed lovely but it wasn't a super enjoyable experience because it felt very much like they wanted us to eat and leave as fast as possible.
It was superb. I couldn’t recommend it enough. Cannot wait to be back!
Fab food and nice atmosphere 😀
Thank you so much for your service. My daughter and I enjoyed our stay and we'll be back soon.
Insane food. Still drooling. Every dish was to die for. We went with a group of friends and we all agreed we have not eaten anywhere before where every course was delicious
Amazing food and very good service
I appreciate they've been closed for a while but the decor was tired, I thought it looked quite dirty and we were put in the corner and ignored all evening. It took the staff an hour to clean away our dirty plates, and we often had food placed on the table that wasn't ours despite us saying we hadn't ordered it, and the waiter left, came back and then picked it up and moved it to the correct table. Consider it's corona times I personally thought that was really unhygienic and I would have sent it back if that happened to me. We also waited 40 minutes for the bill...would I go here again? No...
Kind and attentive staff, great food as always!
