Flesh & Buns Fitzrovia
Delicious food and great service! We will be returning :)
Birthday of my friend. I mentioned it in the booking but nobody reacted at the restaurant. A pity but the food was great
Really good food and atmosphere! I have been there twice in 1 month. The prices are reasonable but on the high end of the range.
Lovely food. It was my boyfriends birthday and the lady at the entrance said that she had a small dessert with candle prepared to aid our celebrations. Just very disappointed that when it came to it, it never actually happened so felt like a regular dinner.
2nd visit and already planning a third...need I say more?
Expected a flavour sensation but the food, though tasty was not the best Bao you can get. Ambience pleasant and service very good. Pork belly bao was delicious but the duck was served with a sauce that was just too sweet. One of our bao dishes didn’t arrive and a special rice request (without mushrooms) was served with mushrooms. For both though the staff immediately brought out fresh dishes and were very helpful.
I wish I was fatter so I could fit in more of their amazing food
The staff were most helpful with altering the lighting which made our dining experience more enjoyable.
The pisco sours were delicious and the servers who made them were lovely - great idea to have the button on the table!!
I have already recommended the restaurant to more of my friends.
Thank you for making my birthday dinner memorable.
Loved it - the bottomless option really hit the spot for a girly lunch. The wagu beef was amazing.
Really delicious food & great ambiance - I'd definitely recommend. The staff were also really friendly and helpful.
Fantastic service and incredible food. Staff were really on point the entire meal.
Amazing service! Really appreciated the good customer service received, we felt very welcomed and well looked after
Took a friend here for a birthday dinner. We had a very nice time. Service was great, the waiters were helpful in explaining the menu and very attentive (very promptly refilled our water glasses whenever they were weren't full). The food is great and the atmosphere was lovely. Would definitely recommend for a classy dinner or lowkey special occasion!
Great food and ambience. We went for the Sunday brunch - it was extremely tasty. I would recommend getting the short rib.
One of the best overall restaurants in London. The food is delicious and the value for money is very good. All food is made to share which makes it excellent if you are dining with a group. I do not think the restaurant could get any better.
This was my second visit and my guest's first. The food was cooked to perfection and thouroughly enjoyed. The only criticsm that the meals did not arrive together and tables being so close together.
We went during the weekend brunch, drinks included. Had to wait/ask/self serve our own wine. Desserts came out without asking us what we actually wanted, the restaurant went on assumption, or they were trying to rush us out. Ok experience is such a high end area
Went for the tasting menu. We both agreed that although the food was delicious, there was a bit too much for 2 people. By the time we got to the brisket and duck leg course we were too full to fully appreciate it. Also - this was the most disappointing part of the evening - there was no pause at all between courses! All the dishes were brought out at pretty much the same time, and if we hadn't asked the waiter to slow down everything would have been served within half an hour of us sitting down. The waiter was also pretty rude when he said that they bring the dishes out as they are cooked, and didn't acknowledge when we pointed out that it wasn't even physically possible to have all the plates on the table at the same time. I wonder if the restaurant understands the difference between a tasting menu and a set menu?
Amazing food, very attentive service and lovely attention to detail. The ring for pisco bells are a fun touch and we even got involved in making them. Great for a birthday or occasion - the soft shell rolls - just wow...!
Really loved our meal this Saturday. It was a busy night but we had very little to complain about, the only thing that went wrong was the manager who had taken our order forgot one of our dishes. But it meant we had plenty of room for dessert so we really weren't bothered. I think the meal came to around £75 total and we had plenty of food so very happy with that. Will be returning again if possible.
Service was amazing, food was amazing and the atmosphere was very relaxed and fun..
My only thought is it just isn’t quite a cool/funky as the Covent Garden one
Excellent value on Maki Monday lunch. Beautifully appointed room, bright, spacious and well decorated. Much more comfortable setting than the Covent Garden basement location. Will definitely return.
We came for Maki Mondays again and just like the first time we came, we were not disappointed! The food was fresh and there was a good selection / variety offered. I am sure this will not be the last time we will come here!
Love coming back to Flesh always good food & great service. Nutella croissant tai yaki is to die for, even if you don't like nutella (my bff).
The staff were rude , table was given to us 20 mins after our booking, and took so long to get staff attention whilst ordering food. Prefer Covent Garden branch and not coming back here anytime soon
We were rushed from the minute we sat down to them eventually asking us to get up and sit in the bar for dessert. I literally had a chicken wing in my mouth as the waiter stood there and waited for me to finish so he could pick up the empty plates to bring the mains. Too many service staff, too many interruptions ... all with one thing in mind, move us through the meal as quick as possible just in case the next set of diners arrive.
Food was ok and we tried quite a varied selection (8 starters, duck bao and dessert platter).
Definitely would not recommend for food, service, catching up with friends or value for money.
Amazing attentive service, really good food and generous portions
Chinese New Year and birthday meal! Was delicious and really great service.
Really enjoyed it!! Thank you
Our first time dinning at the Restaurant (late lunch on Saturday), and overall left highly satisfied. Very attentive service, and the maître d'hôtel were great hosts. Warm, welcoming, friendly and good at explaining the menu, concept and helping with recommendations - right throughout the meal.
We choose off the a la carte menu and were a little bit greedy, choosing a couple of small dishes, sushi, mains and dessert. All the food arrived hot, good portion sizes, and very tasty. My only feedback would be on the popcorn - very tasty but oversalted. The flavour can overwhelm your sense of taste, so potentially spoiling your taste of the lighter flavoured dishes.
The venue, like many in London these days, was "buzzy" (i.e. quite a bit of noise carried through the restaurant), but not so to result in my not hearing my fellow diner.
Fantastic Saturday Brunch. Great food and impeccable service in wonderful surroundings.
Just as good as the Covent Garden Branch.
Will be back
Great pisco button and gorgeous grilled meats. Highly recommend as an alternative to ROKA
We had a lovely time at Flesh and Buns. Food was delicious and service was impeccable! We will be back!!!
So much food! Really good quality and fresh. Really enjoyed our Valentine's meal. Left very fulfilled and will be back again!
Always a pleasure to eat at either the Fitzrovia or Covent Garden restaurants
Everything was really wonderful. Great cocktails and even mocktails. The steamed buns were light and a tad sweet really delicious. My only complaint was the very expensive waygu rump that was cooked like a regular steak and not slow cooked so it was chewy and really unpleasant. Order everything else
Loved the pisco cocktails, food was really good and great atmosphere. The staff were friendly but we did feel quite rushed. We were reminded several times about the 2 hour turnover (even though we left well before that and there were still plenty of tables free when we left).
Great value - Fitzrovia branch has beautiful decor and a smoke menu which is fantastic
Great value for money in a relatively quiet location of central London. Friendly staff, although can be a little slow. Would recommend!
I have been to this new location 4 times but the experience wasn't as stellar as the first 3.
