Nice place and very friendly staff, but they consistently got our order wrong, and one dish came out after everyone else had finished.
You usually can’t go wrong with brunch but it wasn’t that great. The sausages in the full English breakfast were awful. The service seemed initially good but they brought out our food at different times, we think they forgot one of the meals (it came out much later) and the waiter insisted that the wrong item he put in front of someone was what they ordered. We were all still hungry after our meal and landed up doubling what we had intended to spend by buying terrible coffee and tiny desserts.
Tried the Herculean burger between 4 of us - excellent quality and great service
A good place for friends and conversation. The menu is Mediterranean and British with options to allow tapas like grazing or a standard starter, main course, dessert. Cocktails and draught beers were good. All in all very pleasant night out and will probably go back.
The usher wasn't very friendly but the waiting staff was helpful and polite. Food was good and the place has a relaxing ambience.
Food was inedible. I ordered the lamb flatbread and the lamb was raw. My friend ordered the English breakfast with scrambled eggs and the eggs were runny and tasted terrible. Neither of us managed to eat more than a few bites of our meals.... not sure how a simple cooked breakfast could go so wrong.
We were slightly worried when we realised this was a hotel restaurant. However, don't be put off food and service were very good.
Great Overall. Very good for the food because would have expected more options for dessert. Thanks to them for accommodation a birthday candle request.
We had a leisurely lunch on Saturday before going to the Proms in Hyde Park. They had a wide menu which meant everyone in our party had choices. All the food was well presented and delicious and the serving staff were friendly and helpful.
Very friendly staff. Reasonably priced. Would recommend
Went there because of the location where my friend was staying. It is attached to Park Plaza Hotel Waterloo.
I wanted my friends to experience a typical English Sunday dinner and there was choice or beef or chicken. The gour of us ordered the beef and were not disappointed. Beef was cooked to medium well. Portion was large. The sides were fried parsnips and potatoes and some broccoli. The Yorkshire pudding was massive. It was an excellent meal. Service was very good altho the waitree only had basic command of English. I was disappointed that there wasn’t the usual English dessert available to end the lovely dinner. I was expecting apple pie with custard or trifle etc.
When we arrived I had high expectations. Three of us ordered steaks. The plates were slapped down on the table and the chips were frozen. My friend ordered a burger and ate very little of it as it was almost inedible.
Always a pleasure to dine at this time establishment. Great attentive staff and a great menu full of fresh delicious food
Really good tasty food in a cool environment. Would happily recommend it!
I was very much looking forward to visiting the restaurant since I came across a picture of its eggs and truffle on toast. I finally had an opportunity after going on the zip wire at Archbishop’s Park, but I must say I was a little disappointed with the food. We loved the interior of the restaurant, staff at the front desk was friendly and fantastic and we were served by an Italian waitress who was energetic and helpful! But food- there was a serious lack of truffle in my meal as you can see the reality v Instagram picture I have posted here. I have seen the restaurant’s signature burger sharing plate however and it looked very impressive so I would still recommend the venue but I, myself, might not be returning again.
Ostrich egg brunch was good and very unique; however we had been allowed to book a reservation 2.5 before the restaurant opened, so there was considerable confusion before we were seated. Other than that it was fun!
All good really enjoyed it. id go again cool. Thanks.
We had a fabulous evening, very good food, amazing desserts, attentive service and extra effort made with a little birthday treat, defenietly very good experience!
Met a friend for food and drinks. The burger was lovely and so were the cocktails. The cheesecake was melt in the mouth delicious. Would go again!
Lovely atmosphere, food was great, saw the chef crack an ostrich egg 👍🏻
Great food, reasonable prices and friendly service. I booked this restaurant following a recommendation from a friend and was certainly not disappointed. I can't wait to come back.
I am so impressed by the stuffs and how helpful they were, they welcome me very well. The food is delicious and worth the wait and I will recommend this for all my friends and family, it is once in life time experience.
Everything was great!
Tnx for an amazing evening,
This is the second time I have been here with my friend. We chose it because it is close to Waterloo which is convenient for both of us. In addition, it is good food and service at very reasonable prices.
From begining to end everything was outstanding! Fabulous decor and amazing perfectly cooked food. Can't wait to go again
This was billed as an "International" establishment, sadly it was more like an all day breakfast bistro. The staff were pleasant but not over friendly and the two female members of management looked as though they had popped in from a very casual day out, not smart or professional looking.
This restaurant did not live up to expectations and we shall not be going back
I had a late lunch here today with my family including my nephew who is nearly one. It was a lovely experience, great food and service and a brilliant ambience. The staff were really helpful and attentive. All in all a really great experience. Thanks!
Been on 3 occasions now while visiting London - all different times of day. This restaurant never fails. Food and service are fabulous.
Food was ok. Waiting staff were not on form: they cleared our dishes away before everyone had finished, when recommending wine he just pointed at the expensive ones and they were slow at taking our pudding order.
Went for the Ostrich Egg breakfast, worth the visit, staff very attentive, would use again.
I was very very pleasantly surprised by this place. Really very good friendly service from a charming team. Good food. A menu with enough that is unusual to be interesting, but plenty of dishes that will suit most.
The staff set the nice atmosphere.
Really liked it.
We had a very good dinner at Florentine's with our kids of 8 and 10. The food was tasty and the personnel was very nice. The place is very convenient as it is part of the Crowne Plaza Hotel. The prices were high though but with the Open Table discount the bill was acceptable.
Nice food on the pricey side but service quite slow although restaurant not busy.
Very good coffees, the food didn't take long at all and even though it was very early, the service good and ready.
As always, the food at Florentine was really excellent and outstanding value for a London restaurant associated with a hotel. However, what really makes the restaurant is its wonderful, friendly young mostly Italian staff who show it is possible to be proud about giving service and very professional without being surly, patronising, over-attentive, not there when you want them, keen to get you out or the usual issues so often encountered in restaurants. The fact it is open all day from noon until late in the evening means you can have a meal at the conventional times or when you feel like it. The all day full breakfast is incredible value and beautifully cooked and presented. The squid and its accompanying lemon mayonnaise are mouth watering. The avocado and eggs on sourdough toast with a slice of lime is a healthy alternative and the main dishes are substantial and excellent. The half roast chicken fell on to my fork last night and the heritage tomato salad was just right with it. My only reservation about giving a reference to Florentine was that it might get even more popular and I might not be able to get in....
We had an ostrich egg breakfast it was really nice and filling.
We felt a bit underdressed (ready for tourism with bug shoes and k way)
It is a bit fancier than I thought but would definitely fit a date atmosphere
The service was very good.
A lovely restaurant that's close to Waterloo; excellent food however the service was on occassion a tad slow to respond.
Nice place to go for a quick dinner with a friend after work. The set menu was great value and service was pleasant and friendly. I wish we'd tried one of the flatbreads, they looked amazing!
Great service. Flat bread was huge so glad we shared. Very friendly, thoughtful, attentive but not intrusive staff... brought me a ginger and honey tea when I wouldn't stop sneezing! Wine list bit pricey, but otherwise we loved it for our quarterly besties catch up. We stayed for 4 hours and were never rushed to go. Would definitely be back!
My husband and I enjoyed an excellent meal here in a relaxed atmosphere.
We found the interior to be smart and service very good.
He chose the full English breakfast which was well cooked and presented.
I was tempted by the Sunday roast and the beef was delicious and cooked to perfection.
I could perhaps have done with another vegetable but it was still really enjoyable.
Our desserts were so nice that neither of us wanted to share.
