very nice place, friendly and professional service
Excellent experience and service! The food was amazing and the staff extremely helpful and accomodating. Highly recommended
Very noisy with an odd mix of business looking guests and families with young children in pjs and playing on ipads and phones.
Most of the food I wanted to order was unavailable, with only one vegetarian main (other than pizza).
Food looked good but the lasagne my daughter had was very heavy and greasy. The deserts were awful, the ice cream we ordered was just a melted puddle and the tiramisu had way too much cocoa on the top and was just a thick cream underneath.
Not good value for money, quite disappointed. Wouldn’t bother again.
I have been coming to Florentine regularly for the last 3 years. Recently I have been going more often because of how great their food is and how they have attention to detail to their customers. My favourite is their burger with sweet potato fries. Their Herculean burger taste amazing too! They do say its good for 4 people but 6 of us shared 1 and it was more than enough. I highly recommend Florentine. Look for Mauritio the waiter, he is the best.
We went to Florentine for brunch. The waiting staff were great, but the food came out luke warm and the price of the food didn't match with the quality.
We enjoyed everything !! Special mentioned to Mauricio who really took care of us all the way!! We will definitely coming back to try the ostrich breakfast!!
A very beige experience: nice but nothing special. The waiting staff were pleasant and the food was...cooked. I can't think of anything to complain about. But equally I can't think of anything to recommend. Just a bit meh. With so many great restaurants in London it's hard to recommend this average one.
Not known to me beforehand but is a restaurant/bar attached to a hotel - as is typical, nice comfortable ambience for businessmen in a hurry for breakfast, but food is overpriced for the quality, which is at best mediocre and unimpressive. Next time will choose somewhere with more character and heart.
My flatbread was greasy, slightly undercooked in the middle and had an unpleasant looking lamb slab on it which was like a large slice of donner kebab. Taste was actually OK but it was quite heavy and lacking any form of finesse. It actually took some gumption to face up to trying it as it looked so unappetising. My friend had veal which was uninteresting. We were so disappointed we chose not to have a desert.
Thank you Mauritzio for a great service. Food is delicious.
Very nice food. The flat breads were great and the cheesecake exquisite. Not the easiest location but visited it as seen a good review.
It’s one of those restaurants in a hotel that claim they make Mediterranean food but it isn’t. We ordered two flat breads, wild mushroom and lamb. The dough was overly baked, it was hard, and the toppings were not spiced well. After a couple of bites, we had them taken away and paid our check. If you’re checking in late in the hotel and this is the only restaurant open, then yes eat here but if you want a good dining experience, go somewhere else.
Very nice restaurant, and the food was great! Went for brunch and many good options, but when the food got to the table was a tad cold... For all of us. Still tasty though.
Terrible customer service. Waited almost an hour for one scoop of ice cream.
Amazing experience, although it would have been nice to know we should have ordered the ostrich egg in advance: everything else was spot on
It was a very pleasant evening
The food was bland but the decor and service was very good
The hostess was very nice and friendly. But our waitress was extremely rude, we had to ask for serving spoons, for extra plates, no one asked if we would like our dish to be served to us (we were a table of 5) just dumped in the middle of the table. and when we ask for the bill for the second time as we were in the rush she got extremely annoyed. Bare in mind there was a gap of 5-10min in between. Spoiled all experience.
Fantastic service; I ordered something I couldn't eat by mistake and straight away the manager came over, without me asking and rectified the problem. I was able to order another dish, without charge. Fantastic service and great quality food - I will definitely be back with more friends.
Pleasant surroundings and ideal place to eat and talk. Not noisy. Excellent service. My only problem is that although the food was well cooked and presented there was not enough of it. I do not think it right that vegetables are regarded as "sides"and we have to pay more.
Fabulous food and EXCELLENT service! I will be there again!
Amazing beef, great service. Lovely Sunday meal
We had a wonderful meal, good starter (fried squid), ostrich egg breakfast, too much for just 3 persons though but interesting experience, and a delicious desert (Pannacotta & Venetian doughnuts). Nice interior and a cosy atmosphere at Park Plaza' restaurant. Service charge of 12.5% was added automatically to our bill, but we agreed it was worth paying for the experience we had.
Nice place but sorry to say the food quality is no better than a weatherspoons, I'm not sure how they can justify the prices charged considering the quality.
Service was slow even with the restaurant quite empty.
good vibes, always rather quiet when we go. Food is good quality, nice place to go when it's right down the road from accomodation.
Okay food, nothing exciting or special and the prices where absolutely disproportionate. Would only go back for the ostrich egg...
Quantity and portions was very disappointing hence do not justify the prices asked... shame
The restaurant was very fancy, large and beautifully decorated. I came specifically to try the ostrich egg, which was an interesting experience but I think overpriced, though I am unsure how much an ostrich egg costs itself. Staff were very courteous and accomodating.
The roast was disappointing, the other menu options looked nicer than what I ordered. The overall atmosphere and decoration is pleasing, but unfortunately the roast was very poor, potatoes tasted microwaved, meat was very fatty, the Yorkshire pudding was like plastic and the gravy came served with a thick skin on top of it.
I usual frequent to this restaurant when ostrich egg season is in
The service is always great especially on the last visit
I would recommend to anyone to visit this place and taste the wonderful food
Coffee was not the best but food was delicious. Atmosphere was great and the staff was lovely. The ostrich egg breakfast was an eye opener and lovely.
Food was pretty good but not 5 star quality. Had the steak - pretty good, mushroom flatbread, pretty good, tuna steak, pretty good, veal Milanese, average, too much batter. Kids had pizza, ok. Nice ambience although don’t like the loud music from the bar end. We were fortunate to be seated furthest from it. Service was adequate and friendly although the server was often too busy to be found. Had the Venetian donut for dessert, not too good.
Great food! Great staff!
We eat here regularly and the service and welcome is always good. Menu is limited but the food is good.
Comfortable restaurant and bar area. Service was good - food was acceptable although rather expensive and not very imaginative. Set in a convenient location, just across the road from Lambeth North tube station and within walking distance to major London sights so ideal in that respect.
Food was delicious but service was not good at all. Waited ages for plates to be cleared. Had to wait 30 mins after finishing to even see someone near our table to ask for the bill which then took another 15 mins to arrive. And the place was near empty so no excuses
Very enjoyable meal in relaxed environment. Very happy to recommend and would be happy to return in the future. The scrambled egg I had in the All Day Breakfast was a delight
Happy with my meal and service.
My wife and I went for Sunday roast and the beef was so tender.
Lovely food and atmosphere.
Good value for money too.
I will definitely go back
Food was poor , I ordered steak and it was very fatty cut.
