Fogo de Chao Brazilian Steakhouse - Dubai

Food was excellent, waiters very friendly, view was spectacular. It’s THE go to restaurant, but much better outside on the terrace.

I enjoyed it. My first time visiting, I thought there was a high top(floor level) but then I had to stay indoor(low level) but was finally taken outside under the cool weather to enjoy the live music and Dubai view. It was very interesting

Very good quality of food. The salad bar was perfect and keeping all the covid related measures. The meat was amazing and the side orders delicious.

Service was great. However the meat wasn’t good. It felt the meat had been frozen, it wasn’t fresh. Most of the meat was done or well done. Even when we asked for medium or medium rare, it was still more like frozen meat cooked.

Amazing food and staff are super attentive and helpful

Food was prepared very well, however less than half the meat menu was available or served. I asked and the lamb and lamb chops were not available, neither was the coupim.
Also the music was far too loud, making conversation difficult.
For the price, I would expect to have more if the meat menu available than it was. However what I was given was very good.

Delicious food but the service was horrendous! Waited 40 minutes for a drink and was brought the wrong one 3 times.

It was a wonderful evening here in Dubai. Although this was a last minute reservation they were happy to accommodate us with no issues. The Staff for friendly and extremely knowledgeable. The food was top notch just any of the other Brazilian steakhouse branches I've been to in the world. Thank you for the awesome experience before the pandemic hit Feb 2020.

Had to constantly loo for the waiter seems like he was taking care of too many tables including large groups so i pretty much had to stand up and look for him

Food was good, but service was a bit hit and miss. It was way too noisy outside near the big speakers as well

I would recommend for the food taste and value, the location is good and food is tasty but the staff seems they were having hard time as none of them was smiling and approaching the tables with attitude. I understand they might be tired since the place was fully booked on 14th night. It’s worth giving them a second chance.

Very nice experience warm friendly atmosphere

Food was good, the restaurant has a decent selection of cuts for their churrascaria experience. The slow-cooked ribs were juicy and tasty, the lamb chops were amazing as well. We did find that the chicken options were a bit dry and not very flavorful.
The best part was the service, all the staff were extremely helpful and nice. We particularly enjoyed the conversation with one of the team members (Unfortunately, I did not catch his name, but I do remember he mentioned being from the South part of Brazil), he took great care of us and was always smiling and happy to interact.

We had a great time on Christmas’ eve. Ambience was lively. Staff and service were outstanding. Live music was perfect.
They were only missing “farofa” which it was a pittt for us Brazilians.

The dinner doesn’t justify the price

First thing to share would be that Fogo de Chao is our MOST favorite restaurant in the world. We have been to at least 15 different Fogo locations across three different countries. And multiple times. Every time I land in Chicago from Abu Dhabi, for example, I first go to the Fogo location close to ORD. Everytime. So when I say or write something about Fogo, I do it from my heart.

After waiting for a long time, when Fogo opened in Dubai, my wife and I were very excited about it. Then we found out Fogo Dubai charges virtually double the price of Fogo in USA! What on earth!! How unfair is that?

We eventually managed to go there on December 8, 2019.

The food was just okay. The taste was NOT the same for most of the meats we received when compared with the US locations. For example, my most favorite item, the lamb chops, tasted like I was eating cilantro paste! The service seemed very slow even though the restaurant was virtually empty for a Sunday lunch time. We got served perhaps six kinds of meats/cuts. Not sure what happened to the rest, even though we did order the full experience. The servers were nice people though.

Unlike the US locations, here they charge you for water - 24 AED for an apparently large bottle - although that bottle seemed like a 330ml one.

Obviously, after about 30 minutes or so of slow service, and repeat meat cuts, we had enough. We thanked the servers, paid the bill, and left. Lucky for us, we had an Entertainer coupon that helped us with our bill. Otherwise we would have paid roughly $150 for lunch for two of us, as compared to roughly $60 in the U.S.

We always get many offers for our loyalty (e.g., $35 off for dinner) from the US Fogo, but none of them work in the ME locations.

So what is our sad conclusion? If you are Fogo fan, then do NOT go to this location in Dubai. And if you are new to Fogo, then sure, go there as you would have nothing to compare it with.

We are very saddened by our poor experience here.

Over priced similar places with better prices. The restaurant was not full it was Friday

Was disappointing because when made reservation for 17:15 I believed I was making reservation to be seated in the restaurant. Did not or was not made aware that the restaurant did not open until 19:00. So we sat in the lounge with a bar type menu. Was very disappointed. So beware when making reservations.

Excellent food, the meat was cooked for my taste, nice ambience and beautiful view

My wife was eating vegan - management and service did a great job and helped to find many many options.

We did love all ! We liked the music but we felt a bit volume is too big.

Never disappointed and make it a point to visit each time I pass through Dubai.

It is a very good Brazilian steakhouse, if you consider that all meet is imported from far away. I can recommend pichania and fraodzinha, and slow cooked ribs are also very good. Service is excellent for Dubai standards. View to Downtown Dubai and Burj Kalifa is outstanding, and you should go for short walk at the great terrace in front of the main entrance to the restaurant to make some very interesting selfies, especially in the dark hours.

They kept the place open for us which was fab.

Lovely brunch, great meats - good drinks. Good band - but very loud.

Although the meat is outstanding, we had to ask several times to actually get it served and the market table felt poor with the cheapest ingredients.
