Alcatra / Top Sirloin
Alcatra is a special cut of top sirloin originating in the steakhouses of southern brazil. One of the largest cuts served in our dining rooms, you shouldn't miss a sample of this perfectly seasoned, thinly carved cut.
VeeV Aai Spirit, Grand Marnier with muddled fresh strawberry, blueberry, lemon in a tall glass over ice.
Four jumbo shrimp sauted in garlic butter with onions and sweet peppers. Served with passion fruit sauce.

Servers was quick with the food and drinks. Great salad bar
The food has lowered in quality and taste.
First, the buffet now has less items and don't have some previous choices like shrimp and lox.
Second, some of the cuts lack flavor and were not as well prepared as in the past (including the pichana)
Third, they offer additional items, like a shrimp cocktail which is way overpriced ($25.00!!)

Least favorite visit to Fogo Philadelphia. Stuffed into brightly lit, crowded dining room. Couldn’t move, very uncomfortable. Beverage service very slow. Beware of Fogo at dinner time... better service at lunchtime.

I was surprisingly disappointed. I had visited Fogo de Chao years ago with a big group of my family members. I wanted to really knock my boyfriends socks off for our 3 year anniversary and he had never been to Fogo de Chao. When making the reservation I put a note that I wanted to let the restaurant know that if was our anniversary. I wasn't looking for a free dessert or glass of champagne, just a simple acknowledgment to make us feel special. That didn't happen at all. In fact I was continuously disappointed. I don't eat red meat but I knew I could order the sea bass which I was very excited about since it's one of my favorite fishes and I haven't had it in awhile. It was a Saturday night and it was busy but that shouldn't be the reason for what happened next considering what we were paying for a fancy meal. If was about 30 minutes into our dinner. We had already hit the salad bar and my boyfriend started indulging in their fantastic meat selection. He was thrown back by the filet mignon. He said it was amazing. 45 minutes in I was really starting to wonder about my fish. It was now an hour later and my boyfriend was stuffed and couldn't eat anymore meat and I hadn't even gotten my fish yet. I flagged down our server and let her know what was up. When I let our server know I never got my fish and I wasn't interested in having it anymore since my boyfriend was basically ready to wrap up the dinner by now. I then had to say that we were ready for dessert though because I felt like she wasn't going to offer. She brought over the dessert menu and then came back a few minutes later so we could order it. At this point all of our dirty dishes were still on the table. Big pet peeve of mine. Who wants to think about desert and hold a menu in front of them with dirty dishes from their dinner in front of them. Anyways, long story short - we ate our dessert and then got the bill. It had the fish on it. We reminded her. She took it off and CHARGED ME FOR THE SALAD BAR. NOT COOL

Service and food was sub par at best, won’t be coming back again.
It's disheartening to hear that our food was sub par, as we take great pride in serving delicious meals. We hope you don't allow this to detour you from awarding us another chance.
The value question is one I want to comment on. We go for lunch because it is somewhat cheaper. The salad bar is immense and has cold Italian meats and cheeses and smoked salmon and more. Soup seems to always be black bean soup and they have black beans and rice. At $15.00 for lunch M-F it's a great secret. If you add all the grilled meats the price goes to $41.00 . You can add just one meat for $11. Making it $26.00. But sign up for their emails and a few times a year you get $15.00 off the full "experience" (the $41.00 deal. And on your birthday you get $25 off , Making it $16.00!
The meats are good but high sodium. It even says so on menu.
This visit we noticed lots of "upselling" like drinks and a guy walking around woffering you Shrimp cocktails (at about $18.00 each) and a real push for desserts. This was the first time this happened.
Service was fie and the high ceiling keep room quiet.

Great service, food was delicious. I only wish that the full selection came out while we were eating. As we were leaving we saw lamb chops and another dish that never came our way so we missed out. Salad bar is fantastic.

Food and service were outstanding. If you join on the web site, they will send you coupons good for $25 on dinner and $15 on lunch.
Dinner was amazing and the chef was serving fried motzarella to each table that was absolutely amazing. All the food was amazing including the dessert. Cant wait to go back again!
I always love it here. The salad bar didn't seem to have as many choices as before.
Fogo de Chao has been a "must go to" for years. My daughter and I just happened to have dinner earlier then usual on a Sunday. It was 3:45 ish. I would say that we should have came around 5. It was slow in the beginning but picked up nicely. We didn't want for anything and Chef Michael is a great asset to this restaurant. The salad bar is very fresh and they made sure to bring you the meat how you liked it, i.e., medium, rare, etc. As usual, I can't wait to go back!
Selection from Farmers menu was excellent. Omelette station often unattended, did not understand. And while service was very good, did not understand difficulty in getting coffee refilled. All in all, very good.
Waited about a half hour after we arrived a few minutes prior to our reservation.
There were a lot of people waiting, it seemed like they overbooked.
Reservations are in-place for this reason, as we never want our guests to have to experience such a wait time. We will be sure to keep a closer eye on our reservations in the future.
Another great night at Fogo! Loved the variety of meats, and the salad bar is always top notch.
I just wish the check in procedure ran more smoothly. The staff at the desk on this evening can be very snippy - and unwelcoming. requiring to see the exact members of our party to appear directly in front of the check in stand in the incredibly crowded lobby before being able to check in for our reservation. This particular evening was made even more stressful by the unavailability of the buzzers they normally use to call parties - so there was lots of shouting and difficulty to tell who was being called ... bring back the buzzers!
Friday night birthday dinner. Service was slow, for the food and drinks. Servers were nice. Too many children for an 8pm Friday night dinner. Seems like a tourist restaurant. People dressed in t shirts and hoodies, they really should enforce a dress code. Save money and go to Chima or rodizio grill instead. Better service!
Brad is the Awesome-EST! The salad bar is not as varied as other places. The deserts are smaller than the other places.

Market Table is one of best lunch deals around. Many many choices, quality is superb and everyone can be happy - even the vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free and generally overall picky eaters.
For the first time at Fogo, I have to say my experience was underwhelming. I have been here numerous of times and have been very satisfied with my experience but I was not this time. The fried bananas which is one of my favorite side dishes were incredibly dry. Our waiter took forever to bring our second wine bottle and it was not a busy nite. Last but not least it took forever to bring out the leg of lamb we requested (about 25min) and again it was not a busy nite. I usually have high praises for Fogo so Im hoping this dining experience was a fluke.
