   Fabulous well cooked Sunday lunch. Duck parfait for starters which was delicious, four of us , two lamb, one beef , one chicken all delicious served with gorgeous vegetables and the best gravy ever . Will be back

   Sunday menu was delicious. Fresh oysters, wild garlic butter with sourdough bread, the starters and roast beef well presented . Food cooked to a very high standard . We will go again!

   Heard so many good things about the Food at fold and it lived up to the hype. I live in Manchester city centre but I’m from Marple and the food in this place defo holds its own with similar city centre restaurants like another hand, higher ground, Erst etc. It’s so unexpected but good that a place like Marple Bridge has such a good dining restaurant that’s casual but still high quality food. Was talking to my friend from Altrincham who was saying that despite Altrincham being so good these days for a night out and a number of decent bars/restaurants to choose from for a suburban area but that it’s definitely missing a restaurant like this in the mix. I only marked it slightly down for ambience as we went for last sitting for lunch so place was very quiet except for my table and no more than one other table with people on it at a time. I’m Sure the ambience would be much better when busier in peak evening times but I can only judge based on what I experienced. If you’re in south Manchester/stockport area and want to go somewhere different than the city centre for a high quality restaurant, defo check this place out.

   Our second visit to Fold Bistro and it was as amazing as we remembered it being. Excellent food, drinks and service. Even our four year old son ate everything on his mini roast. And such good value to boot. Would highly recommend.

   We always receive a warm welcome, the bar is excellent and the food amazing. We’re very lucky to have this place just down the road, and Aina, Jake and the team are doing a fantastic job. Thank you all!

   The food is amazing and the service is fantastic there so knowledgeable about the dishes and I love how locally sourced a lot of it is. So friendly and accommodating one of my favourite places to visit.

   So pleased we visited this delightful bistro in Marple. We took the train from Manchester having seen their Instagram feed - the menu looked great. It did not disappoint. The menu was small plates and we had 8 between 4 of us. The oysters are a must try! Every dish was explained and unrushed. Perfect and attentive service and just a really friendly place where the style and food totally hit the spot!! Thanks Fold we thoroughly enjoyed our visit!

    The restaurant felt cold , couldn’t see any heating , doesn’t seem to be a front of house person anymore , food great as usual
