From the OpenTable editors: At this acclaimed restaurant from Daniel Johnston, Ivey Wawn, and Harry Levy, the service is par excellence. That’s because long-serving staff members give the space an easy familiarity, and there are a ton of regulars. The kitchen keeps daily-made fresh ricotta and garlic bread as non-negotiable fixtures. Make sure you also get the baccalà mantecato served inside roasted peeled peppers. The food is best enjoyed with a selection from the wine list that’s dominated by small natural wine producers. Or get the house gin martini, which has developed a following of its own.

Come with an appetite! Antipasti, primi, secondi and contorni followed by dessert... A very generous set menu made from items on our quickly moving and changing main menu. It begins with snacks per person and antipasti to share (including our beloved garlic bread and ricotta della casa). Antipasti is followed by pasta, then by a protein focused Secondi course; with one seafood dish, one meat, and a side. Finally, dessert will be a selection from our main menu. Dietaries will be accommodated, with at least 24 hours notice. Please include them in your booking notes. A 10% service fee is applied to the final bill. We do not offer drink packages - beverages are charged on consumption.

Food was no where near as good as previous visits and a key dish was missed from our order. When we gave feedback on the quality of one of the dishes (burnt) we were told “that’s how it is supposed to be”, meanwhile none of the neighbouring tables’ seemed to be burnt. Was overcharged on the bill and we had to call this out at the time of payment.

Went to Fontana for a family lunch, which everybody absolutely loved! A special shout-out to the staff for the outstanding service and to the chef(s) for the brilliant food. Very highly recommended! We'll be back!

What a fun place. Service was outstanding! Just the right amount of attention, everyone was genuinely lovely. The atmosphere was almost like a party, very lively! The food was incredible, definitely recommend trying a selection of a few different things. Love sharing the pasta dishes so you get to try more than one. Thank you so much for the extra pistachio gelato, one of the best ones I’ve tried for sure. Will definitely be back again!

Fontana was a perfect dining experience from start to finish. We had a booking for four at 8.15pm, but the place we were having drinks beforehand was unexpectedly closed for a private event, so we arrived at Fontana an hour early. They couldn’t have been more accommodating and got us seated straight away. What I love, is that you don't feel rushed or that they're pushing you through to be out at a certain time. The staff are absolute pros, love Vinnie especially. He talked us through the menu, dish by dish, advised if we'd ordered too much & make suggestions about drinks and additional dishes. And the food is sensational. Everything we ate was delicious: perfectly balanced, beautifully flavoured and generous without being excessive. It’s ideal for sharing, and even the little details are considered: if you order a pasta to share, they’ll ask if you’d like it plated across two plates. The natural wine list is excellent, the cocktails are creative & there’s a unique selection of amaro for after dinner. Every part of the evening felt effortless and generous. We loved it.

Had a really Great evening There was 10 of us and we had the set menu. It was delicious. So much food as well The staff were great and would definitely recommend this restaurant. We got 2.5 hours as had large table and having this extra time made a really big difference to our evening
