Incredible dinner! Everything from the menu to the decor was lovely. Clearly a labour of love from the restaurant. The duck confit was incredible as well as the pasta dish. Service was phenomenal as well. Highly recommend

Easily one of the best surprises during our trip to Scotland. We usually do not put much faith into reviews but all the ones we read about Forage & Chatter were very intriguing and full of enthusiasm ... to our pleasant surprise, they were all spot-on! The greetings, service and overall level of interest from all the staff was genuine and authentic. The menu was to die for and not only was ALL the food outstanding, but the preparation and presentation was truly incredible. Forage & Chatter will ALWAYS be a must-go restaurant for us!

This was one of my favorite restaurants that I’ve ever been to. The food was incredible (get the beef tartar) and our server, Arthur, was the best. He even gave us some great recommendations for our stay in Edinburgh. I will come back here again!

I loved everything about this restaurant. The manager, I think his name was Leo, was warm and welcoming. The ambiance was cozy. The food was thoughtful and felt like love on a plate. It was a lovely experience from start to finish.

Came here for a meal on Thursday night bread starters and main meal were exceptional but the dessert was not at all. We too the nectarine clafoutis I’ve never tried something like this before but from what I saw and tasted the pastry was completely raw and not very pleasant to eat. The waiter told us that it wasn’t made this way before then he didn’t know why it was made this way this time. It was not nice to eat at all like paste. The waiter was kind enough to remove the dessert from our bill after all so that was great. But on the whole everything was great just a shame about the dessert.
