   We went to Forest for a second time for my husbands birthday. It was such a lovely experience. The food was beautiful & the staff were really friendly & attentive, nothing was too much trouble. At the end they brought out a beautiful plate saying happy birthday on it with some yummy treat on it. Super thoughtful & kind. It made my husbands day. Thank you guys. You’re all awesome xx

   A must for those who enjoy good food and a service second to none. The menu is narrow with choices BUT those choices are delicious, well cooked and well presented. I was unable to finish my main meal even though I did not have a particularly large starter, it was just that the food is so good, you tend to try everything. There were 2 young ladies working the floor and bar, and credit must go to the both of them - attentive, friendly and professional. The place was busy but the wait for food was almost non-existent.

   Great service lovely staff. Nice cocktails and wine. Food was overall good and tasty. The prawn seafood cocktail starter was fresh and generous. Mains - Salmon and Duck. Overall well flavoured and presented, but a couple of niggles for feed back to the kitchen - the duck was a bit over cooked, and the 'pan fried' salmon was a tad over cooked and definitely not pan fried - probably steamed or poached, which was a shame. I regularly cook fish so I can tell the difference. The fondant dessert was really delicious.

   High quality food close to the Minster. All of us really enjoyed our meals. Catered brilliantly with one gluten free diner. Would definitely recommend!

    Had a lovely meal. Great choices of drinks at the bar. Menu was simple and uncomplicated but delicious. We had a great meal.
