This is our 2nd time eating here, and we love the unique food and friendly service. Our server was super friendly and enthusiastic about the food served here. We usually try the appetizer specials and this time we got the pizza rolls which were yummy and the crab dip. I didn't care for the chips with dorito like seasoning that came with the crab dip, but there was a generous serving of lump crab meat in the dip, but it was a little salty for my taste. I don't usually use salt in my food, so it's probably fine for most people. I got the filet salad and forgot to ask for dressing on the side--my bad. Again, a little too much dressing for my taste. Husband had the shrimp and grits which were excellent. The shrimp was tender and large and the dish came with some grilled fresh corn kernels on the side which elevated the dish. Nice assortment of desserts which were large enough to share with another person. I don't live close but would definitely go back again.

the main dish, forge fry" was what i ordered. too much garlick, too much breading, very bad taste, i felt some what sick even the next day.. i only ate a small portion...they made no offer to comp the meal.. the seating was all in one large room and the noise level was very loud. i wear hearing aids so it was too loud ............i will not be going back there.

From the time we walked everyone was amazinly attentive. Food was really great southern comfort. The crab cakes were the best all crab. The maque choux I would eat on everything. I did find a pearl in my oyster but I consider myself lucky that not many find. Drove over an hour for this great find and will definitely come back again.

Food was a little too greasy but tasty. The drinks were delicious and strong enough that you only needed one to get you lit. Only thing I didn’t get the special request I wanted for my anniversary dinner. Other than that everything was delicious

We were a party of five, celebrating my son's engagement. Kimberly greeted us on arrival and was also our server. Very professional and friendly without being overly so. All of our food was cooked well and very tasty. We will definitely return.

Our server Peyton was excellent. Good was authentic Southern. Menu had good choices. Acoustics were very loud and restaurant was NOT crowded.

The pros: The food here is superb. We ordered the snakehead tacos which were amazing! I ordered the filet salad and the beef tips were so tender and well seasoned--loved every bit of it. Had the key lime pie for dessert and I think it was better than any key lime pie we had in Key West. Seriously. The cons: I found it difficult to hear in this restaurant with friends we were dining with. The floors are bare so lots of sound bouncing around. The inside and outside of this restaurant are pretty basic, and that did not bother me at all, however, if you are looking for ambiance you won't find it here, but you will find amazingly delicious food. We had a very friendly server who really did his best to get us what we needed, but I think he was quite busy, and we found ourselves looking for him for the check, and for refills of water. Again, not a deterrence to us to us going back, because we enjoyed the food so much. Will definitely be back to try the shrimp and grits, and the chicken and waffle. Great southern food menu. So glad North East MD has a restaurant with food of this caliber!

Delicious and fresh, spiced perfectly. Shrimp and grits are a go to! The pimento, chicken cheese dip was wonderful.
