Forty Dean Street is the pinnacle of affordable Italian cuisine in busy Soho. We are a small, family run restaurant dedicated to providing incredible food at incredible prices. Our set menu boasts a variety of sensational dishes built around fresh, seasonal produce and has customers coming back on a daily basis. Our à la carte menu is a favourite with our regulars, the media crowd and tourists alike.

Lovely food, great vibes. The only reason for a less than 5 star was the waiters constantly coming to ask if we were ready to order etc. I understand they wanted the table back in 2 hours but it really was a bit irritating!!

Six of us thoroughly enjoyed post theatre dinner at 40 Dean Street. We've never visited the restaurant before, but would definitely do so again. Food was all delicious - particularly enjoyed the sea bass. We were very impressed by the staff who were very attentive, but we didn't feel rushed. A lovely overall experience. Thank you!

Came here between part 1 and 2 of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. Absolutely loved all 3 courses, staff wrote a happy birthday message on our dessert without asking and we were looked after throughout. Fun music and great atmosphere.

I had the most incredible meal here with my family yesterday- it was wonderful, thank you so much. The interior is moody and warm; the atmosphere was lovely and the food was so high quality. Thank you so much to the lovely staff for making it all such a great experience- we'll be back again for another special occasion (and I might have the lobster ravioli again!)

Thanks so much to the staff. Really smiling, helpful and polite. Even stayed behind and called us back after we’d left a bag!! And it was late!!!!!! Brilliant staff.

We had a fantastic lunch at 40 Dean Street. The owner Nima was very attentive and the service exemplary. The restaurant itself is tastefully decorated and the food takes you through an odyssey of Italian heritage. We would highly recommend!

40 Dean Street is that go to Italian restaurant where the food is always excellent. this time I had the burrata which was fabulous and the seafood linguine was good but I can recommend so many things on the menu. The service is on the case but discreet enabling conversations at the table to flow and not be unnecessarily interrupted.

We had a lovely dinner, staff, decor and ambience very good. We were recommended lobster pasta dish from friends who had eaten lunch there couple months before and raved about it! Thanks for a super evening in Soho!

Totally love this quaint but atmospheric restaurant, staff so lovely and food amazing, all in a short walk from Tottenham crt Road stn on elizabeth line. We will return for a third visit soon

Awesome place with great food. However, the dog polocy needs to change. It's too tight to have dogs and I don't like eating food with a dog next to me at my feet and next to the table.

Atmosphere very good Staff and service very good Our starters were excellent Unfortunately both main courses were poor Chicken and spaghetti chicken good spaghetti very salty couldn’t eat it Aubergine was covered in cheese this was so hard couldn’t eat it We wasn’t charged for main courses It’s a shame because it’s got the making of a very nice restaurant

Just what it said in the description- a lovely traditional Italian restaurant amongst all its new, no doubt, trendier neighbours, and the food was just as traditionally good, and not unreasonably priced .

My wife's an my first visit. We hope to come again for another early evening pre-theatre meal. Our table was a bit small, squashed against the wall at the front of the restaurant. Toilets were clean.

Food was excellent - one of the best Italians I’ve been to and would definitely come back to try more of the menu! It was my birthday and the staff brought out my dessert with a candle which was a lovely touch. Everyone I came with said they want to return and everyone had empty plates!!

Everything about this place is exceptional. The service and please don’t get me started on the food. The portobello mushroom starter is amazing. You will not be disappointed when you visit this restaurant. I had constant food envy from the plates of food being served to the tables around me. Looking forward to visiting the sister restaurant soon.

It was my first time eating at 40 Dean Street and my friends and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Excellent food and service. The staff were attentive but still allowed us to have a lovely leisurely lunch. Will definitely go back.
