Food was great! It was a little loud in the tent. Otherwise it was amazing, I wish brunch was served all day.
good food, wish the heater was on the whole time. Turned off during the meal
Food was great! I always get the chicken and waffles 🧇
Excellent! Highly recommend it!
Delicious hot chocolate and a great place to have a good conversation ;)
Food was excellent and felt very safe with their Covid precautions.
Thanks JoAnne for sharing this with us! We appreciate it and hope to welcome you back again soon! -Amy
A forever favorite in town. However, no heaters in the outdoor seating area, it was freezing cold:(
Lives up to the hype. We sat outside in tents and it was still wonderful.
Loved it. Great service. Great food. Great environment.
I love this restaurant. Great food. Super service.
Definitely not a place during cold weather. Site states heated tents but failed to state temperature was still very uncomfortable to enjoy any food or ambience. Even with the pandemic, the setup to ensure air circulation was horrible. Options were to sit outside with heaters and no other protection from the elements or in a heated tent where one side is left open for “COVID” and heat pumped thru a “vent” that barely had any heat. We asked the servers for options and were told nothing could be done. Every table (6) filled in tent had customers we shared same uncomfortable situation. We found humor in it but overall it was unacceptable. And the artichoke dip made my entire party of 3 very ill. Our first experience was not good but our excitement to try it may give it another attempt but another location.
Hi FrozenKoKo: Thank you for your feedback and I am so very sorry you were disappointed with our outdoor dining options & ended up being uncomfortable during the duration of your visit. :( I also apologize you & your guests felt ill after joining us. This all said, I would love to follow up about your review and will send you a DM with my email address to connect further. -Amy
Great services! The outdoor tent was a great way to eat out in the cool. The tent could have been a little warmer but the service was great. The food was delicious. They even quickly fixed an issue with one of our orders in a generous manner. Would totally return !
The food and service were fantastic. The atmosphere was nice considering the corona restrictions.
Honestly the food was just really disappointing. Pot pie had tons of onion and 1 piece of potato and little chicken. The pot roast was average. Both needed salt and pepper. The cornbread appetizer was very so so and the beignets were an oily mess. Service was great. Wines by the glass were very good but expensive $17 each. Wouldn’t go back.
Thanks Les for sharing your feedback with us and I am super sorry for the disappointments with our food & prices for wines by the glass. :( I would love to connect and hopefully turn around your decision to not return...I will be sending you a follow up note with my email address and look forward to connecting further. -Amy
This is a go to place in DC. The food is amazing. The service is first rate. We love everything about it. The only reason I made ambience a little low is because we were outside, which is not as nice as inside.
A res for 4, emailed from restaurant indicated heated tents. Tents were not heated. The wait for everything was very long, and the food was cold. We had to use an app on our cell phones for a menu and could not see prices. A $14 rum and coke? The servers were spread all over the place and therefore we didn’t see ours very often. But the worst part was the cold! Poor tent and propane heater layout. Way overpriced for the service and food provided. This may be a fine dining facility when all inside but they should consider other ways of serving or even menu changes to help deal with the current situation-heat & plate covers, anyone? A heated air fan, like many people use for tents? Quite sad for what should have been a nice dinner with small inconvenience due to COVID. Instead, the management brought it to a freezing table and cold food and overpriced cocktails didn’t impress. The server did recall our order without notes so she was good, but the layout and experience was miserable. The management needs to rethink this. Provide your team with the tools they need to bring the experience up.
I am super sorry for the disappointments with the food & ambience during this experience. :( You're absolutely right- we need to do better & your feedback will help get us there! Our intentions are to still provide a wonderful time by all counts for our guests (now more than ever!) and we sincerely apologize this was not the case this time. With this said, I'd love to touch base and hopefully turn around the poor impression we left you with. I will send you a DM with my email address. -Amy
Their outdoor tent was not heated where our table was and I froze.
Birthday dinner
Fantastic service and even better food! The outdoor tents were roomy and I always felt like my space was respected, would definitely go back again!
I recommend this restaurant! The food is amazing.
Hi Alina: I am very sorry for the wait outside when you had a reservation, and also apologize for the unavailable table indoors (right now, it is against DC regulation to seat tables inside). :( That said, I feel terrible this was unknown & your visit started off and ended up on a low note. I would love to turn this around and will send you a DM with my email address to continue this conversation. -Amy
Everything was delicious. It was very pricey though.
The restaurant did a fantastic job at accommodating outdoor seating during this pandemic. The food was incredible and reasonably priced!
Thank you, Trinity! We really appreciate you sharing this with our team and hope to have you back again soon! :) -Amy
Never disappoints ! Outdoor seating had heaters and service was great 👍🏽
Good food, more on the comfort food side. Great setup for outside dining.
Solid experience overall.
Had to wait even though we made a reservation
Hi Zae: I am very sorry there was a delay with your reservation this time. :( I would love the chance to connect with you and make this right! I will send you a DM with my email address to hopefully continue this conversation. -Amy
We had to wait 15 minutes outside despite the reservation time, and server was unfamiliar with the bartenders ability so ordering was a little challenging at first. After the rough start the meal and service were great.
La comida estuvo muy buena, el servicio tiene potencial de mejora, las políticas de bio seguridad para COVID son un poco ilógicas. Tenían como una fuga de gas en alguno de los calentadores y el carpa de cena en exterior olía mucho al mismo.
Heaters didn’t work, was freezing
Amazing food in a relaxed atmosphere. We visited during Christmas weekend 2020 (crazy times) and we only could sit outside due to Covid regulations. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. We greatly enjoyed our brunch there. I highly recommend it.
Food and service were excellent. Sitting in a tent in freezing weather with both doors open and no heat was an experience we wont forget
I am very sorry the temperature in our tent was super cold during your visit. :( With new restrictions in place, we now must have 2 of the tent sides open at all times, and trust us- we feel badly this compromised your overall experience and lead to a 2-STAR rating overall. This said, I'd love to make this right and will send you a DM with my email address. -Amy
Tents are NOT heated, despite large banner on home page. Haven’t eaten that fast since basic training. Food cools in minutes, no chance with coffee.
Hi Bailey-Ann: I am super sorry for the disappointing ambiance during your recent visit. :( The tent is heated as advertised, however with new restrictions in place, we must leave 2 of the tent sides open. That said, you are absolutely right to share the atmosphere of the tent was cold and we feel badly this compromised your experience. This said, I'd love to make this right and will send you a DM with my email address. -Amy
We ate in a tent on Christmas morning while the snow fell outside! Thank you for a memorable experience for my family!
The weather was cold. My partner asked someone to put a heather outside for all the people and he refused to. With this COVID pandemic we totally understand the fact of eating outside but at least keep families warm outside. Thats my only observation. Other than that, food was great. Thank you.
We had a beautiful brunch on Christmas Day. They made the best of their COVID restrictions. The food was worth sitting in the freezing cold tent. Only suggestion- bring a cushion if it’s cold. Metal chairs in freezing temps aren’t fun
The food and service were great. However, the light was out in the tent, making for not so great ambience.
When I called for reservations, I was told there would be heat lamps. There wasn’t a single heat lamp in sight and I wore a dress.
Hi Agguzman: Thank you for your review and we appreciate your kind remarks about the food & service. We are of course, super sorry the tent was cold & dark, and I would love the chance to follow up to make this right! I will send you a DM with my email address to hopefully continue this conversation. -Amy
Fantastic impossible burgers. Great atmosphere, the Pegasus and the floating cloud lights are awesome. Definitely going back for the drinks.
Took 20 min for our waiter to arrive and take our drink order. Appetizers came out before our drinks and our drinks came a few min before our entres arrived. I assume waitstaff was overwhelmed and that’s what caused delays in service. Even though the service was less than expected, the food was good.
Good comfort food, good portions, and good service.
My Chicken Pot Pie did not have a single piece of chicken in it. How is this possible?
Also, our cookies were dry. Overall, even though we did not create a scene, we were quite dissappointed.
Hi Rupen: I am super sorry for the disappointment with the Chicken Pot Pie and cookies ordered this time. :( We are super appreciative to know this, and now given the opportunity to address this with our team, as well as make this right. That said, I will send you a DM with my email address to continue this conversation. -Amy
