We ordered steak salad and butternut squash ravioli. The meat was low quality and the pasta was swimming in oil. Our server was great though.

Founding Farmers is usually one of my favorite restaurants. The food was not good last night, I was very dissappointed. I ordered the meatloaf initially it was not cooked well, then I ordered the spatchcock chicken it didnt taste fresh. I ordered the spicey fried chicken to go. It was supposed to come with two sides, I happened to look in the bag and I only had one side.

A very pleasant place when you walk in..Nice hostess ..very professional..
Unfortunately, the food did not live up to our expectations...The tomato soup was very salty...i ate half and my ahi tuna salad had too much dressing on it,,, could not really taste the tuna which was good and fresh...should have asked for it on the side.
as for the pro side ..one lady ordered the biscuits and they were fabulous...everyone agreed best option of the meal..Also appreciated having our own checks which saved the "who had what scenario". I would have told the waitress about the food problems but she did not ask and she seemed very busy and also since we were a big group i did not want to get into it at the table.
Not sure if I would go back but would love to carry out the biscuits...

I've normally gotten great service here, and have left positive reviews in the past, but going there Thursday night and getting outdoor seating (tented) and being one of the few people sitting outside turned out to be a really bad experience in terms of the service. I had to go request that the server come back to our table repeatedly, visiting the hostess stand to do so, since almost no one else was out there.

The server, though friendly, appeared to have no interest in proactively asking us if we wanted something or checking in about food/drinks (which...is her job?), only coming when beaconed until it was the end of her shift/the restaurant was closing. I also ordered an ahi tuna salad to go, and asked the server to bring it out toward the end of the meal, but she brought it out fairly soon after I ordered, meaning it was sitting at room temperature for at least 1.5 hours. This puts the food at risk of being contaminated, but did not appear to be a consideration for her.

We also needed to get heating lamps turned on and mentioned this to her, but again, she didn't return, so I ended up asking the hostess for help with it. The food and drinks were still good, as they typically would be. But if your team is not equipped to provide good service to outdoor clients, please close the outside seating.

Met up with some friends here. We had a great time. The service was very good, and the food was delicious. There were so many good-sounding options on the menu we all had trouble deciding what to eat!

They brought a dish that had neither of the main ingredients and it tasted like they put a whole salt shaker on it. The food quality has gone downhill - I would avoid Founding Farmers if I were you....

We had a nice dinner in Founding Farmers' heated tent, which felt safer than indoors (because COVID). The service, like at so many restaurants these days, was spotty. The food was good. The coffee came out lukewarm. It was a great place for dinner with our friends, but at those prices, we might look elsewhere next time.

The food is always amazing when we eat at Founding Farmers. I almost always get the French toast (soaked in bourbon and filled with vanilla custard). I talked it up so much that my mother in law and her sister both got it. I had the chicken and waffles. The waffles was super light and fluffy. 10/10 will definitely be going back!!!

It was our 40th wedding anniversary and with the framed tent and the outside fire pit - my husband and I loved it! The food was amazing and I was transported to a different world.

The waiters were very courteous- I appreciated these gestures which makes special moments even more so!

Thank you and five stars from me !🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I ordered the kale salad. It had unmelted coconut butter the size of my fist at the bottom of the tasteless salad. The grilled and greasy vegetables tasted like they were grilled with the meat. I ordered the vinaigrette on the side and received a sweetened, thick sauce. And finally I ordered chocolate chip cookie(10) and they were burnt on the edges. It was the meal from the Twilight Zone

We went for thanksgiving 2 years ago, is was great and everyone had a great experience. We went back this year and nothing went well. The bread was cold, the salads were marginally better than a cafeteria, the prime rib was supposed to be cooked medium it arrived inedible and rare. The fish was so overcooked it shoot have been served. The turkey was dry and nothing special. The fried chicken was excellent and the sides were good. The desserts were outstanding. But most importantly the service was unacceptably slow. We will be making plans elsewhere next time.

It has always been a family tradition to spend Thanksgiving evening dinner at Founding Farmers. Last year, due to COVID, we ended up getting carry out instead, but this year we were able to go back and eat in the restaurant. I’m not sure what happened this year compared to previous years, but the quality of the food has gone completely down. The food was nothing to rave about. The portions were much smaller and the fried chicken was very dry unlike other years. The salad had absolutely zero dressing on it and was lacking the flavor of the salad they used to give in previous years. I haven’t been to Founding Farmers on a regular day recently, so I’m not sure if the quality of all of their food has gone down in general or if this Thanksgiving was just a bad day for them. But I think it’s safe to say that this was our last year spending our Thanksgiving at Founding Farmers unfortunately.

Not the best choice for a holiday meal. The traditional plated Thanksgiving meal was served cold, and every item was sweet. We prefer savory foods so not to our liking. Turkey was all white meat, sliced thick and very dry. Server/bartender was excellent so all was not lost. The added insult was the $9.00 COVID restaurant recovery fee added to the bill. I asked the bartender if this was for the employees and was told that it's to supply such things as masks and cleaning supplies. Sigh.....
As an FYI...I would normally rate this restaurant as 4-5 stars....yesterday was much less, sorry Founding Farmers....we will try again another time.

Being away from friends and family, we didn’t really have any plans for Thanksgiving dinner but fortunately we stumbled across Founding Farmers on Open Table. We’ve been to this restaurant in multiple different locations but didn’t know they offered a prix fixe dinner menu for Thanksgiving. Of course the food here is always good so we were not disappointed and we’re very thankful to have found a delicious alternative to a traditional Thanksgiving dinner.

Appreciated the simplicity of the Thanksgiving menu. However the corn bread had corn in it, that wasn’t described as such and came out cold. Sent that back for a roll and that was cold as well. The meatless meatloaf was excellent as was the vegetable medley. Everything else was just okay. Expected a little more from FF. The price was fair given the experience. Look forward to dining again when there isn’t a set menu and tons of “pre-cooked” food.

Thanksgiving dinner was a disappointment. It seemed that quantity was a priority rather than quality. The starting salad was large, but mostly lettuce (hard to find any tomatoes or other ingredients). The soup was too spicy. The turkey was plentiful, but dry and no extra gravy was served. Best part of the meal was the sweet potato. Other sides (like stuffing, mashed potatoes, string beans) were OK, but nothing special and too much was served per plate. Large desert servings (pies) were again of average quality.

The staff was absolutely phenomenal - kind, attentive, welcoming, friendly, and super fast and efficient; I asked to sit us as close to fresh air as possible and they sat us in an open-air area in the cleverly designed heated/ventilated outdoor tent. It was perfect and let us enjoy our meal without worry; service was super fast and servers brought out excellent food quickly. Absolutely astounding given the HUGE volume of people dining inside, plus more outside, and the over 1,000 takeout orders going out that day. Food was hot and delicious, with generous portions to box up and take home leftovers. I saw the hostesses and waitstaff kindly helping many patrons with mobility issues and other requests while keeping everything moving. I can't imagine how the kitchen staff and facilities folks kept it all going so smoothly with so, so many moving parts in this incredible rush; I hope they stay safe and well. Everyone deserves a hefty bonus and a heartfelt thank-you, and a break, for all their work. I am so grateful to the FFMC staff for making this outing with my older family possible; we had a lovely time and it was so special to be able to do this. It meant so much to my mom, who loves dining out and hasn't for more than a year. THANK YOU!!

I will definitely go back for a non-holday meal. Nothing was so bad that it ruined our Thanksgiving, but each component was lacking. I'll just mention 2 things -- 1 bad, 1 good. We both opted for the prime rib even with the extra $8s. It's an expensive cut of meat. But what came on the plate was very near as thin as as slice of roast beef from the deli for a sandwich. Not worth even $1 more. So thin you really almost couldn't taste the flavor. Extremely disappointing. The rest of the plate, all the Thanksgiving sides were wonderful and very generous portions (except the gravy for the mashed potatoes). So we know they can make great food which is why we'll go back. We realize that a holiday is always difficult so we're taking that into consideration with the service. This is the good thing. Even though our waiter disappeared , all other staff took care of us right away. There were some items left off Plate and the 2nd course was wrong for one of us. But all of it was quickly fixed by The woman wh brought out our food and the young man we flagged down on his way back to the kitchen. We aren't bashing the restaurant at all. The portion size of the prime rib at an extra price is the real complaint. It's chintz on the part of management and seems like a bait and switch. So just don't go there on a holiday.
