Founding Farmers - Tysons
The food was very fresh really liked glazed bacon lollies and devil eggs, steak was on point wife had ribs said they was real good and bread pudding was great with sauce. Jefferson doughnut was good.
My family and I love Founding Farmers. We frequent this location as well as the other locations often. We were celebrating Fathers Day and we’re disappointed in our experience. Our waitress failed to mention any specials, left dirty dishes from our appetizer on our table the whole time, and repeatedly walked past our table without checking in on us.
Outstanding as usual
Very kid friendly and we always have a great time and the food is always delicious
Nice atmosphere, high quality food.
Food was tasty. However the pancakes were slow to arrive and were cold. Never did get any bacon lollies that are apparently served by the wait staff.
Went for Fathers Day brunch, you can tell they have a good system in place for brunch flow. The food and service was excellent! Already made plans to return.
The food was overpriced for the quality. Brunch line was chaotic with many poorly supervised children. The server was fine. We probably will not be dining here for brunch again.
Senna as always was warm, welcoming, and wonderful.
Wife's Birthday and they were very attentive and gave good suggestions. Enjoted very much.
Came for Saturday brunch buffet. Reservation was at 11:45 and was not seated until 12:10. Service was poor - asked for specific passed items during brunch but none were brought to us. Server asked on 2 separate occasions if we wanted a refill on coffee but never got around to it. Dirty plates were not cleared in a timely manner. Very disappointed with service but food was very good.
Food and Service was Excellent!
Georgetown location has better food. Lots of the food at this location is over salted.
The family took me here for an early Father’s Day Brunch! And boy was it good!
This place is always awesome!
Great food! Easy going . Was a smell of paint but the manager came by to explain
First time here for dinner. I had the fried chicken. My girlfriend was not a fan of the cornbread or greens, but my husband loved his 7 cheese mac n cheese. Our server was excellent and intuitive. Capped the night with coffee. Perfect date night.
Tables too close and arrangement
Could hear other tables whole conversation
Caleb Reid is the best waiter on this planet. He needs to be moved up to management. He took care of our allergies and let my sister try something else since she couldn’t have the biscuits because she has gluten allergy. BEST Dude there
We went to FF to celebrate a graduation. Food was terrific and so was the service. It’s a loud restaurant, so conversation was difficult.
I don’t know why founding Farmers is unable to cultivate good service. Neither of the locations I’ve been to have reliable, timely, or friendly service. And the food is passable, and certainly not worth the exorbitant prices.
Amazing food, amazing service. It was great to see more people than just our server helping with the table, it seemed like the whole restaurant was helping everyone out!
It didn't take long to get our meal and it was hot and very good. We did rate the service a little lower. Our waitress didn't say or do anything that was wrong, we just got the feeling that she was indifferent and rather not be there. It made the experience less than it could have been.
Friendly staff, great food. The tomato soup is excellent, as are all the pastas. You really can't go wrong here.
Very limited vegan options. And when we ordered vegan they put cheese on it. We didn’t ask for cheese. The menu didn’t list that it had cheese. And then the server said ‘I guess the chef doesn’t like vegans’. So, do not recommend. The vegetarians and omnivores were satisfied but not super impressed.
Not recommended as it was so difficult to carry our the conversation due to noise.
Our service was the most excellent I’ve received to date. Find was as good as always. Love taking our friends here when they come to the area!
Fabulous place to dine at any time. Food good, service and ambiance outstanding. It's one a favorite of the local business .
The service is always slow at this Founding Farmers.
Family farmers from North Dakota came to visit. We were so happy to take them to Founding Farmers. We loved the food! And Founding Farmers uses Beyla honey, produced on a friend’s farm. We were thrilled to see that!
I was really disappointed with my experience at Founding Farmers in DC (really inattentive service and disappointing food), so was reluctant to suggest the one in Tysons. I was very pleasantly surprised. The service was impeccable and the food delicious. It was a completely different restaurant experience and one I would want to repeat many times over.
I normally always get the steak and enchiladas and love them, but today I decided to branch out and try something different. The waiter recommended the seafood risotto and it was fabulous! Also lived the brie and the Virginia ham and biscuits appetizer.
Great food, service and ambiance. Hughly recommended for all occasions.
Not sure if it’s normal but it took about an hour to get our food. Other than that everything was perfect!
Raymond was an awesome server! He went above and beyond as it was my first visit. I am very pleased!
The only issue I had was that my wings - of which I so wanted to be delicious - came burnt. I have never received burnt wings in a restaurant. That alone, left me doubting the whole experience. just won't order wings again - nor will I recommend them.
Wide range of food choices. Some items should have been refilled quicker and signature healthy drinks weren't available. Overall very good
Not for brunch. The buffet was miles from our table and frankly, not that impressive. We've eaten brunch at the Founding Farmers in Bethesda and it's not a buffet and the food was excellent. Our server never returned to our table to offer us more drinks, and generally, the place felt like a very busy diner and not anything like what I've come to expect from Founding Farmers. I will not return to this location for brunch. I was embarrassed because I was the one who suggested it to our friends.
I enjoy coming to founding farmers for brunch, there's good variety and delicious food. I like going to the Tysons branch since they have a buffet and parking. However, during my last 2 visits some of the dishes weren't that good. Like, the fried chicken was very salty, the salmon was too dry, the mac and cheese was missing salt, etc. Those are some dishes I really like eating there but i was disappointed with how they were cook. Also during one of our visits we weren't offered any extra dishes like the pancakes, and in my last visit I was offered a benedict, but it was so overcooked, it was like a boiled egg. The food quality has been going down like it's being rushed. One more thing, during my last visit my parking validation didn't work, i had to walk back to get it validated again but it still didn't work. I just ended up paying the $12 to get out. I've known founding farmers for years now and they have really good food, but the brunch at Tysons has been very inconsistent with the quality. I hope to see this improve again very soon.
This restaurant never disappoints! From the moment I entered and smelled buttery sweets in the bakery until I sat down with my plate running over with hot excellence, I knew this would be another great meal at Founding Farmers. I couldn't believe that as much as they had set out for Brunch, they still came around to offer everyone three more options and still two other waiters came around with fried shrimp or maple bacon skewers. It was amazing!!!
