An excellent farm to table experience.
The service we received at your location was very poor. Our waitress never mentioned her name, nor did she seem as if she wanted to wait on our table at all. She was very unpleasant. We did however take into consideration the fact that the service we received, was not your normal services. But our waitress never said anything about it. She just seemed very... unfriendly and unwelcoming. HOWEVER the manager Nelson was VERY, VERY helpful and made our visit much better towards the end. We had a 6 hour drive home and he made sure we left with a better experience. Thank you so much Nelson! We really appreciate all that you did for us! If we’re ever in the area we will definitely give this place another shot. (Thanks to him)
Our server was nice but forgot to bring butter we requested for the waffles we ordered and the order of thick-cut bacon we ordered. Took him a while to come around to our table so had to make our requests with other waiter.
Best pancakes ever! We always love going out to Founding Farmers and this trip did not disappoint. Highly recommend. Just be sure to have a reservation, it’s usually very busy.
Overall restaurant was good
Went for my daughter's birthday. Waitress was not very friendly, was clearly in a bad mood, and didn't smile once. When we told her it was our daughter's birthday, she said we well you can purchase a dessert to give her if you want. Not sure if that is the policy, but most restaurants offer at least the birthday person something and we would have bought more. The restaurant wasn't packed as usual, so perhaps she was down about receiving fewer tips, but her attitude likely made that worse. Luckily everyone else was friendly and the food was great.
This take every effort to display cleanliness during this Pandemic. Definitely a safe place to eat.
Great food and service.

Just an all around great place to eat breakfast. Food is delicious and service is outstanding.
Are we sat is was quite warm compared to other area in restaurant. Overall a great place.
The Deviled Eggs were ok, not as exciting as I had hoped. Everything else was excellent.

It was very hot
Had a reservation and still have to wait for about 30 mins to sitting
The food and appetizer was great
The food was very good. We all enjoyed our entrees. Unfortunately, it took over 75 minutes before they were served to us! Because it was a work night, we were not drinking or eating heavily, which meant we only ordered three entrees; a salad, a soup and sandwich, and a pasta dish. After about an hour, one of our party went looking for a manager or our waitress, who was missing in action for most of the evening (except for when she took our order). The manager said she'd get right on it. It was another 15+ minutes before our food arrived. They did say that dessert would be on the house to make up for whatever happened to our food (there was never an explanation, which would have been nice). We ordered three desserts and were told that two of the three were not available. It was a difficult and disappointing dining experience.
Hi KittyB: I am real sorry there was a delay with serving your entree order, and while the Manager working was involved & offered dessert on the house, there was a lack of available options which only furthered your disappointment. :( All this said, I'd love to make this right and will send you a personal note with my email address to hopefully connect further. -Amy
Good experience overall but we received the wrong drink order but couldn’t tell that it was wrong until it was too late. The food was very good.
Very noisy but good food overall. Service was a little on the slower side but courteous and efficient. Good reception staff.
Consistently solid experience. Great place for casual business meet up.
Chicken salad was fresh and flavorful.
Excellent place to have breakfast! Good service, as well the free of charge parking.
Hi Juwe: Hooray! Thank you so much for sharing this with us. :) We appreciate it and hope to have you back sometime soon. -Amy
Sat at the bar and the service was not great at all. The staff normally walks around with samples and that didn’t happen until we were about to leave.
We wanted a different table and they were very accommodating. Food was fresh and great.
I put in the reservation that this was for my daughter’s 16th birthday. I called while the girls were eating and the hostess assured me that she marked it on the reservation and that they would put a candle in her dessert. I also asked her to speak with the server and confirm s/he knew too. My daughter got home and said they did not acknowledge her birthday… She said they had a great meal but this part was very disappointing.
Buffet line not refilled enough. Cold pouched eggs.
Hi GeorgeA: Thank you for your review. I am so sorry to read the buffet brunch was left un-replenished at times, and the pouched eggs were cold in preparation. :( I would love the chance to touch base about your feedback and hopefully turn around the poor impression we left you with this time. This said, I will send you a PM with my email address to continue this conversation. -Amy
This will be a goto spot for brunch! My only criticism is that some items ran out very quickly. I made two trips up and the crab dip was empty each time.
Great selection of food however the fried green tomatoes were never passed at our table; the eggs Benedict are advertised as fresh but did not seem so; brought fried shrimp to the table without sauce which others were receiving; desserts could have been a higher quality and while food was in general good for the price expect better service and quality
Went for friend's birthday dinner and had a good time. The food was pretty good. If you like spirit forward drinks, the Chelsea Manhattan is a must have.
Raymond was fantastic
Brunch was terrific! It was very busy but the staff managed the flow very well.
Excellent brunch spot, would highly recommend.
Very crowded. GREAT selection of menu dishes.
GREAT Parking options.
Excellent value for money.
Food was AWESOME !!
Food and service was great!
Good. Service slightly slow though waitress tried her best to make up for it. Staff seemed overwhelmed.
I’ve been to this location several times. My son and I prefer it over the closer Reston location because they have more food offerings during the weekend brunch buffet. There’s usually a long wait even if you make reservations which is annoying, because what’s the point of making reservations if you still have to wait 15-20 mins before being seated? On our last visit, we came earlier than we normal do (10:45am) and were sat pretty promptly (maybe the earlier you come the faster you get seated?). Food selection was great and had all the faves I come for—particularly the shrimp and grits and meatloaf. Unfortunately, mid meal, I found a hair in my potatoes. The manager(?) informed me that she removed the potatoes from the buffet and tried to assure me that all the staff wear hairnets, I guess to insinuate that it was a patron whose hair must’ve wafted deep into these potatoes. Again, we came fairly early and the potatoes were pretty fresh when I scooped them onto my plate. If a hair from a customer did make it in to one of those dishes, it would most likely be on top of the food, not deep into the middle layers you can only get to by stirring. In any event, after I explained that I would not be eating more from the buffet, she offered to comp our meal. The staff is friendly, so I’ll likely be back. Hopefully, no more incidents like this one occur.
Should have a senior price for the weekend brunch.
Very small portion for the soup.
Took 45 minutes to get an order of cornbread. Very confused service although our waitress was as sweet as could be. Scallops were good. Prime rib very small. Drinks are mostly crushed ice for a $12 Moscow mule.
I love the shrimp and eggplant tagliatelle pasta, but was a little bit bland. Server was quite slow with his service, so that was the down side of it. Overall, decent southern food. Their Jefferson donut is a must try, flaky and soft.
We had a 7pm reservation for a party of 4 for my daughter’s 40th Birthday but we arrived early at 6pm. The hostess said she would try to seat us but doubted it. So we waited. At 6:30pm we asked if we could be seated but was told no seats were available yet we saw people who had come in after us be seated even a party of 14. At 7pm we approach her again because now it’s the time we had reservations for and again she told us there were no seats available yet again we saw others being seated. My husband then asked her if there were no seats available where were they seating the people who came in after us which she had no reply. By this time it’s 7:15pm and we have been there an hour and fifteen minutes and still waiting to be seated. I don’t want to play the race card for we are African Americans and the people being seated ahead of us were White. My husband is a retired veteran of 30 years of service and we have never been treated this way even when station in a foreign country.
The food and service were great.
