Fantastic food and lots of it great value for money lovely staff

This was an awful experience. Yes, there were Covid precautions (e.g. perspex screens) but the waiter ignored them leaning over us and even sitting down next to my wife at one point. The food was mediocre at best, e.g. the 'Chef's Special Starter' appeared to be lukewarm ratatouille from a tin and my main course, 'boil in a bag' lamb shank. This might not have mattered if the price matched the quality of the food -it did not! The prices, particularly for wine and beer were very high. Further, they had the nerve to try to charge for something that we ordered but, despite several requests to the waiter, not received.

Overall, visiting this establishment, was an appalling mistake that we could not recommend to anyone.

Staff were lovely and welcoming, food all lovely including filet steaks. Would definitely return, thank you.

On first appearance we were worried but the quality of food was superb. Waiters need to be more upbeat. A little expensive but as i say the food was fantastic. House red wine was nice but £17 for house wine is a touch expensive.

Mousaka was delicious, and the lightest puffy breads

Had traditional dishes which were nice but very over priced. Definitely wouldn't consider for more than 1 course unless you can afford it Better restaurants in Whitby

My chicken was grilled to perfection, my daughters pizza was delicious. The shiraz I had tasted rough however. I should have said something, but was not feeling well so thought it was probably my taste buds!

An excellent meal! I had the lamb kebab and it was cooked to perfection. My husband had pizza and really enjoyed that too. The venue felt very safe and the staff were all extremely attentive. Highly recommended.

Booked Four Seasons on recommendation and reading the reviews. We were certainly not disappointed and would happily book again.

Turkish food here was lovely but house wine is Italian. They also do pizza. Think they need to decide what they are doing.
Staff brilliant in these strange times but didn’t have time for dessert as they had to close at 10pm

Great service, arrived early-no problem, food (pizza) was excellent, Individually made. House red was great and service was prompt, knowledgeable snd friendly. We’d visit again next tome in Whitby

Too many people all appeared to be booked for 7.30 & restaurant didn’t really have a clue to deal with this
Zero social distancing & in normal times would still have been seen as overcrowded
Not enough staff serving, but kind of got there in the end, forgetting the likes of the water we had asked for

Food was fantastic but the red wine was the worst French red we have ever drunk and run out of Turkish coffee but it must have been good to run out. But need to sample there own wines. Service was ok but never felt special as everyone should be at a restaurant, never asked if we would like a dessert.

The food was outstanding can’t wait to go again, the staff were friendly and helpful.

Ate here on bank holiday Monday & the last night of the eat out to help out scheme so the food was half price. Expected it to be very busy but it wasn’t. Very efficient service. Kebabs were lovely. When we read the reviews on the day we were visiting, we were worried as some people had booked through open table and there reservation hadn’t been received by the restaurant. We tried to call several times to check but no one answered the phone. There wasn’t a problem with our booking when we arrived at the restaurant. There were protective screens up between tables but the waiters weren’t wearing any visors or face coverings but the windows were open so plenty of fresh air circulating

Excellent food and Service and well set up for COVID restrictions

We had a selection which included the chicken and lamb skewers ...never tasted better and also sirloin steak cooked to perfection.

Restaurant overcrowded no way was it social distancing felt very uncomfortable with distance .One waiter was absolutely outstanding in service and made up for the way I felt, the others were very miserable ,food was good but quite over priced overall would not return .

This is a very lively restaurant that is clearly popular. It was too noisy for us to want to linger. The pizzas are fine but at £16.50 rather than expensive for what they are. Service was friendly and the staff wore visors.

Good food, great atmosphere & excellent service. Covid screens between tables and waiter constantly sanitising hands when handling cutlery etc. Would visit again when next on holiday.

Service was brilliant, atmosphere great and food was presented beautifully and was delicious.

Booked on line and had time changed that was not ideal, food good value with excellent service.

Excellent quality, service, food was delicious. When we are in Whitby again, we will definitely be back.

On arrival we was unable to get a table that members of our party had booked so they did not eat there which I must say I whish we couldn’t get a table overpriced and tasteless especially the tuna and beef stroganoff

Very busy with minimum social distancing. Very welcoming staff but not that well organised but the food was delicious.
