The lively interior and atmosphere reflects the location, whilst also retaining the familiarity of the trusted, comfortable local – perfect for everything from fun dinners with friends and family gatherings, to a leisurely brunch armed with the weekend papers.
Foxlow Soho will be open daily for lunch and dinner in addition to weekend brunch, which will include the famous Fried chicken, egg & croissant waffle. Theatregoers and value-seekers will love the set menu and on Tuesday nights (as with all Foxlow restaurants) customers will be able to bring their own wine, corkage free. Weekend brunching will take place from 10am – 3pm with several new brunch cocktails alongside bottomless Bloody Marys. And Sundays at Foxlow are well known for roasts, either Beef with all the trimmings or the new Chicken pot roast.
Good quality, British Food, which was well priced, Would like to see more English Wines on the menu.
great for an early dinner catch up with friends. Nice location close to Oxford and Picadilly circuses, but tucked away on a quieter back street. Nice decor. Friendly welcome and lovely service. We were near the front window so it was nice and airy (although the booths are pretty snug, so there isn't much room). Starters were amazing - such lovely choice. I had kale salad which was delicious and also tried my friends' salmon crudo and squid which were also awesome. I had sirloin steak which was a little on the chewy side, with nice fries and lovely roasted carrots. Don't usually go for a dessert, but I'm so glad we did. The sticky toffee pudding was gorgeous, my diary intolerant friend had the posset which was beautifully coconutty, and we also had the Reese with a spoon which was pretty heavenly, and the rhubarb pudding which had great flavours but was a little heavy. all in all a lovely stop off mid-shopping.
Patient serving staff given the BYO setting. Excellent food. A real treasure
Great range of cocktails excellently mixed. Then Tuesday BYO other booze made this a great value but fab evening out with friends. Good food.
Great food and cocktails. Service with a smile and a lovely open dining room. Not too busy on a Monday night either!
The carrot hummus starter is delish, and the spicy cauliflower main dish is so tasty.
Small portions for chicken roast and poor service (had to request several times for water / to order) . Although a second portion was provided this was begrudgingly. Not good value for money
Great food, atmosphere, and staff!!
Would happily come here again
The service was excellent and that alone would make me return. Food was delicious, one of the best steaks I've had (flat iron). The vegetarian & vegan dishes sound amazing, the one I tasted was indeed delicious, however, the price is outrageous for what is actually being served. Definitely would go hungry if ordered a vegetarian/vegan main. This place is definitely not value for money and it's ambiance and market positioning doesn't justify the price.
Great spot for a midweek catchup with friends. Meat is the main agenda but they had some really tasty veggie options and a good drinks menu. Nice ambience and super friendly staff.
Food was terrible, tasteless, tiny portions, chewy meat - ridiculously priced for what you get. Won’t be going back
Another wonderful meal at Foxlow. One of my favourite spots in London. Always has delicious food and fantastic service.
Food was good. Service wasn’t amazing, the waiter asked if he wanted anything else, we said “not right now” and then the bill was placed on the table. We both wanted to still order a hot drink but couldn’t.
Resturant was great so was the food, staff were friendly and attentive. It was a great experience would definitely revisit
Food was good but a little expensive for what was served. Drinks again good but expensive
Good food and service - the express lunch menu is great if you are in a bit of a rush and is also really good value!
Service is very friendly and food is good - a British take on American-style comfort food.
Confirmation of reservation was farcical. I was sent a text by a number I couldn't reply to by text or by calling. When I rang Foxlow I got into a call handling system that sent me to voicemail. What was the point of that?
Food is great quality and generous, tried the chicken zinger burger, yum yum..
Second time here for a Sunday Roast, but sadly, despite booking a table at 2:45pm, they'd sold out of the Roast Beef (the main reason we came). The Roast Chicken was pretty disappointing, and tough as old boots (breast served on the bone). Could have done better with a home-cooked roast. Drinks good, service ok.
One of my favourite restaurants in London. Love the food, the atmosphere, the staff. Everything about it for the money is first class.
Even with a reservation and full dinners for two people they tried to kick us out of our seats after only an hour!
Very rude restaurant!
Meat and chicken that we ate is a bit dry so they can cook the meat a bit less and they can choose a better chicken more softer piece
Simply a great all rounder. Great food, great cocktails and lovely staff.
Love this place, friendly staff that really look after you in casual professional way and the food is amazing.
Gordon our waiter was lovely and looked after us well
really loved that it was a BYO Tuesday! Would recommend for that reason
Perfect place for a weekend brunch. Super attentive and nice staff. Would 100 recommend it to anyone else. I prefer the Soho venue to the Clerkenwell one I have to say.
The LOVELIEST staff. Hillary and Georgia - congratulations on getting married. They made us feel like qweens.
Good food, nice cocktails and a reasonable wine list, paired with some attentive service and reasonable pricing. We liked Foxlow and will come back!
Amazing xinger burger! Best chicken burger I’ve ever had. Cocktails were great too and the service was top notch. Will definitely be back.
Always amazing here. Love the flat iron steak and mushrooms. Red house wine wasn’t nice though so try a different wine. Overall ambiance great!
Really grateful for the service at Foxlow, they catered well to food intolerances providing new options not on the menu, delicious and good value. Thank you!
I have to say I didn't have particularly high expectations of this restaurant, I picked it for its location and because it looked family friendly. It was much better than expected. The service was friendly, quick, professional and all the staff had a bit of personality. The menu choice was good, catering for most tastes. Overall value money was good (for a location in Central London). I would definitely return again.
This was our second visit to Foxlow as we were so impressed with our Sunday roast. This time, we were not impressed with the service as well as with the food. I ordered Sunday roast and my partner ordered vegetarian dish. When the food arrived, I noticed the beef was a bit chewy. Maybe I’d asked for slightly medium well but if the meat is of good quality; it shouldn’t be chewy. As for vegetarian dish, it was tasteless and bland. As for the service, we had to wait for a wee while to get attention.
Overall, it was ok. Never go to the same place for the same food as the taste is never the same.
It’s one of my favourite places to brunch in a London. The Foxlow mimosa is a must have, shame it’s not bottomless anymore, but still enjoy a visit to Foxlow.
Was given a table downstairs with few other patrons. Little atmosphere
Good steaks though I thought they were slightly overpriced, great service.
Enjoyed a cocktail at the bar and ordered our meals and wine. We then sat at the table when the food was served. Excellent service by extremely friendly and helpful staff. Can only recommend.
