Had a really nice time at bottomless brunch, prosecco was regularly topped up, service was quick. Some of the portion sizes were very small though - particularly disappointed by the smoked salmon portion size. We did mention this to the waiter but they just told us they agreed that it was very small for the price.
Food was good, but service was very poor, waiting staff very rude and incredibly slow despite not being busy
Their express lunch menu is superb, healthy and very tasty
Excellent Sunday Roast, great service and brilliant selection of drinks.
Quick pre-theatre dinner. Excellent steaks and cocktails with friendly service. I would happily return for some very good casual dining
Food was nice but very small portions. Ordered the 'bottomless' prosecco but staff were quite disorganized and very slow at re-filling our glasses. Had to ask on more than one occasion. We were also seated in the basement which lacked atmosphere.
Booked for brunch at notice where the vast majority of other restaurants that I'd trust to feed me that early in the day were full. Left very impressed by their chicken/croissant waffle dish. I don't tend to like leaving the house before midday at weekends, but Foxlow made me glad I had.
The steak was of course cooked to perfection ... but you must go simply for the mushroom sides which were the best we’ve ever had!
Food was alright, however they have changed their menu and don't offer as varied mains anymore which is very disappointing!
Food here was great - especially the calamari and flat iron steak, both were cooked perfectly! Service was good but once we had finished our meal we were left quite a while before we were given the bill.
Mixed review re cocktails - some tasted great but don't get a huge amount in the glass for the price... bit disappointing!
Most were flavours we hadn't tried before - so if you're looking for something a bit different would recommend.
Would definitely come back for food!
Went for a quick catch up with a mate. Great Rib-eye and a decent wine selection. The service was really attentive and freindly and overall a good meal experience.
The roast beef was lovely, potatoes were nice and crispy, and the service was great! 😊
Good place for a quick bite, the chicken burger in particular was fantastic!
Service is a little hit or miss but the food is pretty good value for somewhere in Central London, the restaurant itself has a good, generally friendly vibe to it. :)
Fabulous dinner with excellent staff. Would recommend the flat iron with the apple and fennel slaw!
We went for the lunch time set menu deal - the food was delicious, however it took us 20 minutes to get a waitresses attention for the bill.
Lovely food and great service - attentive without being rushed
This was a great spot for our informal work meeting - our server in particular (I'm afraid I didn't catch her name) was particularly friendly and helpful
Nice place with a good aesthetic. I found the vegetarian portions a bit small, and a limited menu.
Fantastic vegan options, dumplings were delicious! Very friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely recommend.
I got the flat iron and it was great. Make sure you order as a side the mushrooms. They are amazing :)
Excellent Sunday roast. 10/10. Service was excellent too. Will be back !
Great Sunday brunch! The staff was so kind and child friendly. We'll definitely be back!
We had a lovely evening at Follow Soho on Good Friday with some friends. We had happy hour cocktails and chicken burgers and chicken drumsticks. The waiters we very attentive but as the restaurant was quiet they never rushed us.
menu this time wasn't so varied. Felt more unhealthy this time.
It was a good place for a big group but the food was only average in my eyes. We had one vegetarian in the group and his main dish was extremely small.. also the side ‘salad’ with the salmon was more decoration on the plate than a salad.
The drinks were nice. Overall it was ok.
Great service and great food. We didn't have to wait long for our meals to come.
Cocktails tasted great and were exactly as the waiter recommended.
Will definitely be back to try the brunch.
As to be expected with anything that is associated with the Hawksmoor, the food was fantastic. Unfortunately we caught them on a bad day. The Chiswick branch had just closed, and a load of the staff had been shipped over to Soho. This unfortunately ended up in a pretty disjointed service, where we encountered 8 different waiters or waitresees serving us throughout the meal. Despite this, the food was great and id be happy to eat there again.
Great cocktails, nice bar area. Booths are nice if you can get one. Food was good although they had run out of chicken and beef burgers by 8.30 pm on a Saturday which was disappointing. But had steak instead which was yummy. Carrot houmous to start was lovely. Waiting staff were great, very friendly.
Great for a pre theatre meal with very pleasant staff.
Had a lovely lunch with my boyfriend and his dad on Saturday. Food was great - we had the squid and salmon starters - both very tasty, especially the squid and the sirloin and rib-eye steaks we ordered were cooked perfectly and really flavoursome. Service was attentive without being OTT. Good wine and beer list - Pinot Noir was good. I would definitely go back - the brunch looks awesome. Very well priced as well!
Food was pricey for the amount we got.
First time at Foxlow, won't be the last...gorgeous food (wow those ribs), perfect user-friendly house red, great location and decor plus best-in-class service from our wonderful server. Thanks so much for a great evening.
Excellent value BYO Tuesday lunch. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Steaks outstandingly good.
Nice venue, retro decor with good service and tasty simple food. Good service. Had a business lunch and it was nice and quiet but it would suit any occasion when you want good unfussy food and service.
We booked on a Time Out deal for a main course and drink. It was a freezing cold, snowy Sunday afternoon and the restaurant was fairly quiet but lively. Staff had a good sense of humour and service was warm and friendly. The Hangar steaks were very tasty and the beer good.
Initial reaction good, the place feels cosy and a nice place to spend a long Sunday afternoon. The food was really great - as usual the meat was tender and succulent.
But, and it is a big but - the service really let it down. We were sat at 12pm and offered drinks at 12:15pm. We advised we were waiting for friends but wanted to use the unlimited prosecco deal. The waitress told us this starts at the time of the booking. When I complained and said it took her 15 minutes to come and ask us about drinks, I got a shrug and 'them the rules'. Rude.
Then when the unlimited had finished, we wanted to order another round of drinks - we were comfortable and would have spent the afternoon spending money, chatting and drinking. We were told they needed the table back, despite a near empty restaurant. At 3pm on a Sunday I doubt all of a sudden 30 people were about to walk in.
Overall, the waitresses were more worried about the rules - than the reality of what was practical and polite. I am a very regular customer of Foxlow in Clerkenwell and have never had the same problems. I will avoid this branch in the future.
The food was great, same for the service. It was extremely loud though downstairs.
Very tasty comfort food served by friendly and attentive staff - we were there for a small birthday dinner and it was perfect. Fried chicken and pork steaks were excellent - would definitely go back. Good drinks list too!
Food was actually ok, if slightly expensive for what was given (sirloin steak in particular). Service was terrible. Waiter mistook order, and staff not attentive - more concerned with talking between one another than serving customers.
Great steak and best Old Fashioned cocktail at the bar. This place is just perfect and a lot less busy on a weekday than expected for Soho. Staff were super friendly even though we were using a voucher. Had a lovely night.
