An affiliate of Good Food Ireland, Francesca’s is one of the top restaurants in Dublin city centre.
A very good evening. My Gnocchi was very good, well up to Francesca's standard; the ambience was perfect (noise levels low and therefore easy to have a conversation); service excellent in all respects.
For a last minute reservation on New year's eve, it was perfect. The restaurant was set up in a way that provided a festive atmosphere. The food was good and there was a fairly good choice on the set menu for the night that it was. No complaints
The food is well prepared and presented. The plentiful supply of fresh vegetables, cooked al dente, with main courses is admirable. Fish is a particular strength, as is the Gnocchi dish I had earlier this week. The staff are very attentive without being intrusive. The atmosphere is relaxed and good for conversation. Overall a positive experience.
Lovely hotel, wine was lovely, service was good. Ambience really really nice! We had food from the large selection of tapas on the menu. Unfortunately the food very average.
Main dining room not open on evening of visit, had to wait to be seated, although no one else waiting. Food quality overall good.
Restaurant was empty, which was as well because they had no knowledge of our booking. Three of us had the tapas selection and one the sea bass. Food was good, some of it very good. Pianist was not so good, but we didn’t have the heart to give him 20€ to stop playing. Wine was reasonably priced given the quality. Thought the place would have been more popular given the quality, but the waiter told us the previous evening had been very busy.
It was a great experience! The service was impecable, the ambiance was enjoyable and the food was great.
Hotel restaurant. Not bad. Not great.
The food was hot and delicious. The servers were fabulous.
Have been going here for well over 10 years now and never disappointed. Love everything about this place!
