    We popped in on Sunday lunchtime. Two of us had the braised beef tacos. Another on our table had the dal with poached eggs and naan and various yummy extras. All of the food was just excellent. This place is a local treasure.

    The food was delightful and delicious but the very best thing was the women who was our waitron - she was exceptional - gracious, easeful, relational and charming - she really made the evening exceptional

    Incredible food as always, £50 on a selection of generous sharing plates for two of us and we didn't have room for dessert! Get the bread, it's the best fiver you'll ever spend.

    Frank’s is an absolute gem. The food and service were both outstanding. The highlights were the fried chicken oysters with tikka mayo were a dream! And for sharing plates the portions were very generous. One of those places I wished I had in my neighbourhood.

    Everything was fabulous especially our waitress who was outstanding!! (We came Sat 15th for our 25th wedding anniversary) and loved it! A little tip - try a little more to make a gluten free option for the gold star ⭐️ In any event / we will be back! Pa Love the carafe options on wine - saved fighting over choices at the dinner table!

    Always a wonderful dining experience. Cosy neighbourhood place - cafe by day, foodie heaven by night. The menu changes seasonally, and is full of small, medium and large plates for sharing (or not!). Great atmosphere.

    Nice, small local restaurant. Good, eclectic food that’s designed to be shared. Bread was crispy, fluffy sourdough (and a lot of it), with a lovely fresh butter. Spaghetti felt a little discounted with the rest of the dishes, which were lovely, particularly the bream.

    Every dish we ordered tonight was exciting including the starters but especially the meat and fish dishes. The lovely waitress knew her way around the menu and made excellent recommendations. So many flavours in each bite. We had a variety of mains to share between four people and every dish did not disappoint. They use locally sourced and seasonal ingredients which was fascinating, flavourful and delicious. Great atmosphere and a wonderful team and they even sent us home with a fresh loaf of sourdough. This is our north London favourite.

    Frank's Canteen is a stylish and charming modern restaurant with a lovely ambience which serves up an eclectic array of sumptuous dishes and fine wines. The staff are excellent and last night we enjoyed a spicy aubergine and flatbread starter followed by a delicious filet steak for me and a grilled trout dish for my partner. It's a real treat!

    Frank’s Canteen is a gem of a place. Small and unassuming but with terrific food and excellent service. We chose from a menu brimming with imagination. Whipped salted honey sourdough, perfectly cooked bavette were my favourites on the evening menu. Waitress was very knowledgeable and attentive; excellent service. My new favourite local restaurant!

    We had a lovely dinner at Frank's Canteen. The environment is cosy and nice, all food was superb and the service was very good. We stayed until closing time and they never rushed us, which we definitely appreciated.
