The food was excellent & really makes this restaurant stand out as being a good local restaurant. However what would make it great is if there were aperitif drink options (not just Prosecco) and pre-meal nibbles like bread. The road leading up to the restaurant is just awful as well - it’s riddled with pot holes which made arriving at and leaving the restaurant quite a worry. Don’t go there if you have an expensive sports car!
A fantastic meal with local produce and wines. Catered for allyl my allergies. Flavours were superb. Would highly recommend!
Hidden gem! Well worth the drive into the country’s
Fabulous venue, the dinning room is superb. The food was absolutely excellent, went for a special Sunday lunch. I loved the family roast idea. Super service. What a great find. We look forward to our next visit. Thank you.
Perfect for special occasions & christmas day lunch!
Treated like royalty with the staff
You will not be dissapointment
Excellent roast but you need to tell them in advance what meat you would like
Food was exceptional and the service that we received from Nik was incredible and a credit 2 the company
Excellent lunch from A’L Carte menu, beautiful cooked, great service, very enjoyable 2.5 hours.
As always amazing from start to finish, staff are always polite and friendly service is brilliant. Highly recommend
Great food, and lovely friendly staff
Always a treat to visit.
Unfortunately we were the only people having lunch until 2 ladies came in for afternoon tea. Only lady serving was very attentive and pleasant and was able to accommodate our requests. Vegetables were numerous and pleasant but I suspect that some of them were ready bought! However the roast potatoes were outstanding! Two people chose the 'pot roasted pheasant' but it was very dry and not what I expected as the 'pot roasted' statement conjured up a more casserole idea! The dessert of Belle Pear Helene was sadly lacking the pear as there was a tiny slither of pear with a spoonful of ice cream and a shop bought chocolate dessert that was extremely oversweet! Not a good choice! My friend had the chessboard which he thoroughly enjoyed. Not a bad lunch but expected slightly better.
We have been to Frasers many times and once again we weren’t disappointed! The festive menu was absolutely lovely, we all had two courses but just couldn’t manage desserts! I have to be gluten free so I phoned ahead to discuss the menu so I was able to choose with confidence........ nothing was too much trouble for them! Such a great evening & our guests were very impressed too!
Limited a la carte menu but food was well presented and very tasty. Will go again and try the tasting menu.
Will definitely go again for dinner with friends. Were recommended by friends and have already passed on our recommendation to other friends.
The very best Sunday lunch that I have had. My guests were also of this opinion.
Nice venue, good menu choice and good quality well presented food. Free drinking water and fresh bread and made butter a nice touch.Pleasant friendly non intrusive staff, well served.
What would be a nice addition would be somewhere casual inside to sit other than at the table for pre and post dinner drinks.
Very enjoyable afternoon tea. The staff were efficient and pleasant. You could have as much tea as you wanted and the food was lovely. Would certainly recommend to friends and would visit again.
Really lovely afternoon tea, food was lovely, service etc, the perfect setting for our friends baby shower afternoon tea. Will definitely be back.
The afternoon tea was amazing. The atmosphere was relaxed and you felt at ease straightaway. The staff could not do enough for you.
It’s a hidden gem in the Kent countryside
Excellent tasting menu, in a little hidden gem
I went there with my wife for our wedding aniversary. The price/quality ratio was outstanding, service very friendly. Absolutely a place to return to.
Food was delicious & appreciated the quiche instead of goats cheese one. However inundated with wasps & flies, suggest you put an insectocutor somewehere in restaurant? Also found the building works nouse very distracting. Hope it is finnished soon.
The team at Frasers we’re exceptional. They were attentive and made a family celebration extremely special. The food was outstanding and exceeded our expectations for a remote restaurant in Ashford. We will definitely be returning very soon!
I was surprised to see we were seated in the marquee. I would have preferred the main restaurant. It was windy & therefore rattly. The food was very nice & the lady singing was very good & a nice addition.
The food was amazing with a very pretty setting. The service at the table was great although it felt awkward when we walked in. No one approached us immediately which is fine when you have a waiting area but we were standing in the middle of the eating area. It was extremely quiet with little atmosphere and with 2 children, who are well behaved there was quite a lot of
shhhhing going on! Would be good for a group booking where you make your own atmosphere!
A very pleasant venue; intimate scale and very attractive setting.
Tasting menu was vert good - each course was fine. Slightly incoherent sequencing - sorbet was pudding esque and preceded an exceptional parfait/cheesecake whereas a palate cleanser and/or prior to pigeon would have been preferable. Wine flight was Ok but a little ordinary, but was very good value. Will definitely return to try table d'hote. Recommended as a 'go and enjoy'
Afternoon Tea - the warm homemade sausage rolls & goats cheese tarts are to die for
We had afternoon tea which we thoroughly enjoyed. The service was very good and we
thought the restaurant was very pleasant. We used a buy a gift voucher, what a lovely
present to be given and we found an excellent venue for our tea.
Lovely food and enjoyed the visit. Nice environment as set in gorgeous Kent countryside.
Absolutely fantastic. Cannot fault our dining experience here.
Lovely place although a little difficult to find but well worth it. Food excellent and staff very efficient
A lovely meal with excellent service. We really enjoyed our lunch.
The food was fabulous, there was nothing on the tasting menu my partner and myself did not like. The service was very good but the restaurant was very quite so we did not feel inclined to linger.
Frasers was a brilliant find. We went there to celebrate a Birthday and as it was near to Valentines Day we chose the Valentines Tasting menu. It was superb. Portions were perfect and the food amazing.
Frasers is a little in the middle of nowhere but it was truly worth the drive. Will definitely look forward to our next visit.
Amazing afternoon tea. So good this was our 3rd time at Frasers. The team are always super lovely and welcoming, nothing is too my trouble. The food is amazing - sandwiches are fresh, the sausage roll is the best I’ve ever tasted and is always served warm alongside the cheese and onion tart which again is super scrummy. The scones are huge and getting more jam or cream is never a problem. Always have a great time and always recommend others. It’s my group of friends go to place for afternoon tea now. We’ll be back soon no doubt!
Great food and value for money and staff very friendly
Our first time at Fraser's and what a discovery! We had a superb lunch - each course was beautifully presented and the flavours exceptional. The service was discrete yet attentive. Highly recommended.
Excellent food, beautiful presentation, great service, good wine. Will certainly come back.
We found this restaurant on trip advisor and what a great find it was. one of the friends we went with has an allergy to fish and the staff couldn't have been more understanding and helpful - they really went out of their way to make us comfortable. The service was a relaxed and nice mix of attention but not overly so. The setting is beautiful modernised barn finished to the highest level.
we all had Steak and it was the very best we ever tasted and no steak knives needed... well done to the wonderful chef they have there - the desserts were the only time we were all quiet - savouring the tastes !. t
I really cant praise the restaurant enough. the only very slight downside was its in the middle of nowhere - long drive down country lanes to get there and late evening you can easily miss the small green restaurant sign. There needs to be some lighting on the dirt path leading up to the restaurant as it is very dark. the a la cart menu is limited to three choices of each course - not that I am a fan of long menus but perhaps another choice on main course would be good and finally the coffee is pretty limited selection.
having said all that, the four of us had a fab night and its certainly somewhere we will return to - maybe even try a stay in the lovely accommodation they offer.
Well done to all the team - and thanks for a lovely evening
Great experience lovely food and atmosphere perfect romantic night
