Welcome to Fredwell Cafe & Patisserie. We're set amongst a Stable Yard in the Heart of 103 Acres of Farmland in the Vale of Glamorgan with some truly Exceptional Views to accompany your Coffee, Cake, Breakfast and much more besides.

Our Famed and highly rated dishes are real heart warming and filling dishes with our most popular being our Stunning, Buttermilk Pancakes served with Smoked Bacon, Berries, Pistachio & Raspberry and much more too.

But we're not just known for our sweets. We have some Exceptional Main Meals including our Stunning Salads, our hand stretched Pizzas (including the popular Pear and Stilton) and our Stacked Butterfly Barbecue Chicken Burger.

Breakfast took a while to arrive and it was a little cold. The only eggs available were boiled coated in a hollandaise sauce which seemed strange for a main breakfast. We did ask if they could do scrambled or poached (when we left) and they said no. The decor is nice but we wont be returning.

The menu is short which is good as you can choose easily. The breakfasts are great and the feta on french toast is delicious. The pancakes and waffles will always be a good shout too.

We went to the New Llantwit shop quite a lot of the menu was unavailable but what we had was nice although I did feel my avocado on toast was too expensive ad it wasn't even a whole boiled egg on top just 4 slices

We had the most delicious brunch ever. It’s a beautiful place to be in with friends or family. Very cozy cafe and patisserie. Delicious cake and tasty food. Then you can go for a nice walk. It’s a place where you always want come back just to relax . Highly recommended at all. Well done guys 👏🏆

We never made it to the café due to being unable to find it. We were soooo disappointed I did open table response to let them know the situation perhaps next time your post code Needs tobe addressed due to this problem Thanks Kim Cassels

The back room needs some soft furnishings to absorb general chatter and laughter- which is great to see but a little intrusive. Pizzas delicious and large. Chicken burgers a little dry. A great place to walk to and enjoy a coffee and patisserie or an Afternoon Tea.
