Although the menu is derived from traditional recipes Fucina represents a new wave of Italian cooking in London, elevating simple ingredients to umami-rich creations.
Fucina serves handmade pasta, rolled just before service and stone-baked pizza from a wood-fired oven, both made from stone ground, wholemeal flour that’s naturally fermented.

Mediocre food. Overpriced for the quality served.
Our local, good as usual, welcoming, unobstrusive service and their risotto is the high point as far as I’m concerned, sea bass for my husband, yum
Great place - wouldn't have picked it without your fantastic photos on Instagram!
Unfortunately they have changed the menu so we didn't enjoy it as much as before.
Great food, interesting contemporary take on classic Italian dishes, attentive (although not suffocating) service and a very interesting wine list.
Good food and wine choices. Ambience and service was great as well.
If you like quality and Itslian food then do not forget to visit this place. All hand made, tiramisu to die for. Will def come again...
We love living in Marylebone and we have lots of restaurant choice. Fucina is a great newish addition. My only criticism is the music? Why have background music? It’s so annoying and unnecessary. Great restaurants never have canned music
It is the third time we were in this restaurant. And the conclusion is always the same : good food (not amazing), terrible service. Waiter has no knowledge over the products, couldnt describe the menu when asked to.
Good dishes : carpaccio, veal, pasta with short ribs ragu.
Poor dishes : pannacotta (tasteless, poor texture), grilled chicken (super salty)
The atmosphere, decor and ambience is a lot better than the food actually tastes. The menu sounds the part, and the dishes look the part but the food lacked to impress with it being standard.
My mom and I had a great dining experience at Fucina! I started with the tuna tartare and I HIGHLY recommend it - absolutely delicious. For mains, I had the chicken dish with a side of sweet potatoes (YUM) and my mom had steak with peppercorn sauce and a side rosemary fries. Amazing!
The surroundings are very nice as were the staff. Overall we had a pleasant experience but it was far too expensive. I would not rush back.
An absolutely lovely restaurant with attentive and patient staff.
Thank you very much for singing ‘happy birthday’ to my boyfriend.
Very good authentic Italian dishes with beautiful Amalfi-inspired interior design.
Too noisy! The music was way too loud! Hard to talk to each other in a group of 6 people
Needs some tweaking and attention to detail. Risotto was too big. Lovely interior and great marble in the toilets.
Great food and service in a beautiful space. The prix fix menu was good value too.
Food was not served at the same time
Very good service
Great place only complaint is the service has always been very slow each time I have been
I loved the relaxed feel of this place. The foor tastes very good. I definitely would return to try more dishes. Service was well-timed and friendly, wines were affordable."
We had Sunday brunch for a catch-up with friends. The menu is small but everyone was very happy with their choices. Great coffee. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. Excellent service.
Great place!! I gave it 5 stars. It had a nice modern, chic atmosphere - really beautiful inside. What we ordered was excellent and my boyfriend, who is Italian, said that the menu was very authentic and loved the food. It was his birthday and the staff wrote "Happy Birthday" on the dessert plate which was a nice touch. Overall delicious food and excellent service - there were many staff and they were very attentive. I will be back with more of my friends :)
Amazing overall. I will be back from the food to the friendly helpful service.
lovely attentive service
food did not match this however
food was overpriced, over cooked and underseasoned
Our service was shocking.
We didn’t receive any side dishes untill we had finished our main course and I had asked 5 different people for them while we were eating our meal.
A fabulous experience from start to finish. The environment and design is beautiful, the menu is interesting and the food exceeded expectations. I dine out five nights out of seven but rarely do I leave a review. Fucini was definitely deserving of the time. I would highly recommend.
Fucina is our regular Italian restaurant.
As a pasta lover hope they have more kinds but also each of them had unique taste so haven't got bored so far.
Love their cutlet. When my picky husband crave for a cutlet we come here.
And burrata is unusual.
They have some fresh twist on it.
Always order the scrumptious truffle chips too.
We prefer weekdays as it's much less people.
Lovely people and service.
Atmosphere was good. starters OK. Main courses were small especially the octopus which was the most expensive main course on the menu £27 and there were less than 5 bites of Octopus. It would qualify as a self respecting starter. In short, no value for money.
This blew an otherwise nice meal and good service.
Loved it! Will definitely be going back - the food was fantastic.
I went to Fucina for a birthday, we had starters , main , cocktails and dessert and it was all amazing. The burrata is to die for...
Very good food and service, we really enjoyed our meal. Service was very attentive.
The restaurant is a nice, well-appointed restaurant in a pleasant area of London. However, I was a little bit disappointed about the rest of my experiences. When I asked the waitress whether the fresh truffle on the menu was still a black winter truffle it appeared that she did not know that there are different varieties of truffles e.g. the winter/spring/summer-truffles etc., all with their special flavor and richness. She referred to the truffle as “black truffle” such as the winter truffle (which is, although the official season is over, sometimes available in April) but there are also black spring truffles and Summer Truffles. But, which is in my opinion is a mortal sin, she served the main course while I was still working on my first course (I was “half-way”). This ill-timed served main course is the more shocking because it happened to be a pasta with meat sauce, a dish where to moment of serving is not insurmountable critical since the sauce is prepared well in advance. Furthermore the food was served on a lukewarm plate.
The food was O.K. but far from excellent.
The service is meticulous and way above average. The food is nice but not representative of Italian receipt (cacio e pepe as a dish is very good but more a carbonara). A little overpriced as overall.
Fantastic meal. Food was incredible. Great ambiance and service. Reasonable wine prices as well. Can’t wait to go back.
We had a very enjoyable lunch, with excellent food and very good service.
Disappointing - spinach salad as starter had little else but spinach, but the citrus dressing was nice. When deciding between two dishes as my main, and mentioning I wasn't very hungry, my server convinced me to go for the mixed seafood over pasta (one of the priciest items in the menu). The homemade pasta was good but a little too al dente. The seafood was minimal at best - a few tiny clams, a few small muscles and maybe the equivalent of one prawn cut up. Very disappointing. What furthered my opinion that this is not a well-managed establishment , two of the four restrooms had no doors and were blocked off.
Great variety and a wonderful selection of vegetarian dishes. Absolutely delicious and great cocktails!
A good find
Comfortable environment and good food
Found a small rock in my salad. Reported it to the waitress just to receive a plain we are sorry and a look of doubt. I don’t know if they thought that I have placed the rock in the salad, but this is totally unacceptable for a relatively expensive restaurant. Food was good, not great.
