Great Italien cousine with good value for the money
Great food but try to avoid Sunday lunch... no good service...
Amazing food and they really made myself and my other half feel special. We opted to over 4 courses and shared everything. I really like the vibe and staff were attentative.
At Fucina you are always guaranteed a wonderful meal. Great for every day dining and special occasions. The food is always fresh and beautiful and completely memorable. Do not leave without trying the truffle pizza- light & fragrant; this is what dreams are made of.
This restaurant has the most maxing pure tasting food! And lovely welcoming service makes it a wonderful warm but sophisticated experience
Very slow service waited 20 min until I had to asked for any form of drink. Forget the wine, there water wasn't even on the table. Once the wine did come I had to ask for 3 wine pours. Food was not explained to the extent that was needed. Very nice interior design but a huge shame the food and service is not on par. Lovely area and plenty more restaurants in that particular area which are worth the money. Will not be going back, despite the manager being understanding and removing the service charge.
Fucina has delicious food options. New Italian flavors and exciting new taste experiences
I had truffle pizza which was unbelievable
As a vegetarian there are many options on anti pasta selection
Weird almost creepy environment and music.
Both starters came - after 20 minute wait- scattered with pistachios, not mentioned on the menu, and significant as one of the diners has a nut allergy. We then waited 50 mins for a bowl of seafood pasta, and eventually had to ask where it was and then it was mostly shells.
Only choice of two deserts left on the menu and, given the lengthy wait between courses we did not have dessert or coffee. I declined to pay the 13.5% service charge.
Had a marvellous Mother's Day lunch, charming service, the odd thing didn't run smoothly, but, mother quality of the food and the ambiance made up for it. Will be returning!
Excellent. This was for the us a special but understated family occasion. The restaurant was just what we wanted, distinctive, modern, special, memorable. Eventually, we had less time than planned but the staff guided us to dishes that could be cooked in time. Milanese cutlet was succulent. The wild mushroom risotto was excellent.
Really lovely birthday On a miserable cold day but the staff and food where so lovely and the Restaruant is so spacious and comfortable it was perfect
The food quantity and quality are not matching their price. Overall not value for money
Good, innovative Italian cooking. Service very helpful. Ambience comfortable but very noisy - made worse by loud, insistent background music. Food is designed for sharing which is not everyone's ideal but worked well for us.
very stylish setting and delicious light sharing food. great coffee, lovely crockery and glasses !
Great food and atmosphere let down by the fact the food came out and different times
We have now eaten at Fucina 3 times and we absolutely love it. Italian food is our favourite and we love how they have combined ingredients to make the experience delicious. The atmosphere is fantastic full of young and trendy people enjoying a night out. The staff are excellent helpful & attentive without being pretentious. We would highly recommend Fucina to friends and colleagues who appreciate an exceptional Italian experience.
Great atmosphere and service throughout. Let down by the food considering the area and other restaurants around you. Not on par.
Excellent attention and great ambience. Knowledgeable wine advisers and good wine selection. Great mix of sharing plates and larger dishes also to be shared.
Let's start with the positives: great space, lovely building to be in, nothing to dislike at all. Well, apart from the sofa-style seat that was so soft & squidgy that getting up to go to the toilet was a problem (no, I'm not a geriatric). And two of the dishes on the tasting menu we had were truly superb, and the wine recommendations we had were spot on too.
But... the courses were thrown at us far too fast (the fact that we hadn't finished the previous ones really should have been a clue), and other than a couple of the dishes, the food was very forgettable. Take a third off the price and it would be fair value. As it is - nice, but plenty other much better options.
I'm not going back.
Would have given it a 8 for food but unfortunately the service really let it down. The waiter we had was wonderful but she was covering too many tables and so could not be as attentive as she really needed to be. Other waiters also refused to engage with tables outside of their section.
It’s also disappointing that a restaurant of this standard/price can not commit to serving all dishes to the table together, even for a table of only 3 people
Lovely place. Great food and good ambiance. Service staff was excellent. The food Devine. The wine menu is all Italian with good options.
Very nice reliable neighbourhood restaurant. Relaxed service which makes us feel very welcome. Decor is nice and trendy with black marble restrooms.
A very simple food with top top ingredient. The 55 testing menu is amazing value for money and has a perfect combination of all plates. The mozzarella bar is also special (stracciatella and buttata are excellent) service fenomenal
This was our second visit to Fuchina and it didn’t disappoint. We went early straight from work. Finished eating at 8.00 by which time the restaurant was nearly full. Delicious food, great atmosphere and friendly, helpful staff. Nearly all Italian. One of favourite restaurants at the moment. Will go back again.
The food was great, however the service was exceptionally poor. Our table was booked for 6:30, however as we arrived 20 mins we sat for drinks. We then didn’t get taken to our table until 7pm which they then told us we had to be finished with our table by 9pm. We sat down and didn’t get attended to for a long time. We then asked for bread and olives- we asked twice as they didn’t bring anything, and when they did, they only brought olives. They were slow with service all evening. We asked for a bottle of white wine which they kept away from our table and we had to ask every time we wanted a top up because the bottle wasn’t nearby. After having rudely told us our table wouldnt be available after 9pm they let us have the table until 10:30pm in the end, mainly down to their own slow service. When asking for the bill, we asked 3 times. We got given the bill and when I asked to have the card machine, they instead brought me another copy of the bill. We asked to have the service charge removed because of the poor service, the manager just shrugged it off as if to not care and hey didn’t even ask why or try to make our experience better. The restaurant wasn’t busy at this time, and they still took their time. We were one of her biggest parties in that restaurant with a very high bill and still weren’t treated very well. Apart from that the food was great. They also need to change their front door!!
Really great restaurant fitted out beautifully, great food, atmosphere and buzzy!
The restaurant is visually very appealing
It should be a real winner as the food once it
Arrived was tasty , however it came cold and my friends food was eventually served 30 minutes after I had finished.
Whilst the management did their best to placate us
I find it very hard to recommend anyone to come here.
Fantastic meal, highly recommended and beautiful design....
Took my mum here for her birthday, prices were so reasonable for the amazing service food and ambient atmosphere, and the staff put candles in the dessert and wrote happy birthday in chocolate on a marble slab for no extra charge, perfect evening
Amazing restaurant! Great personnel at NYE! Would come back for sure
Spontaneous dinner with family. Unexpectedly good food...and exceptional service. Both to match Andy Martin’s award winning restaurant design.
Food was fabulous
A hiddden gem on Paddigton street, easy to walk past but difficult not to rave about. I have only been there for lunch. Delicious each time. Great service and ambience and Italian tastes to surprise you.
Definitely worth a visit.
Excellent location, close to Baker Str underground station. Easy to find. The venue has a few chairs where you can drink a cocktail and meet your friends or date before being seated. The restaurant is very stylish! The ceiling looks like the shape of an Italian pizza baking oven up-side-down! Toilets are stylish too! Open kitchen, nothing is hidden! I had the truffel pizza and I must say: a different kind of pizza but very delicious!! Tiramisu after was huge and very well flavoured! I certainly recommend this place for a special occasion since it is quite pricy.
Best Italian cuisines I have tried.
Good food and very friendly staff. Only thing is I find them clearly our plates a bit too quickly, sometimes even when we are still eating.
A special thanks to our waitress who was absolutley fab. Great suggestions, very friendly and knew the answer to every question we had.
Great time from start to finish. Good food and excellent service and ambiance
Pasta boiler broken .. chef should know a back up .. esp as the restaurant wasn’t that busy !!
Menu isn’t impressive.. place looks amazing nice staff .. so if food ain’t your priority and it’s just about average food in a good looking place .. here u go
