Although the menu is derived from traditional recipes Fucina represents a new wave of Italian cooking in London, elevating simple ingredients to umami-rich creations.
Fucina serves handmade pasta, rolled just before service and stone-baked pizza from a wood-fired oven, both made from stone ground, wholemeal flour that’s naturally fermented.

Great place. Loved the food and the service was perfect. I would recommend this place for business lunches as it's quiet and reasonably fast service.
Would be good to have a bit more of an atmosphere but that only comes with more bookings!
We wanted a stylish Italian restaurant to celebrate our daughter's 18th birthday and this fitted the bill perfectly. The service was excellent; really attentive but not overwhelming and they made a fuss of our daughter.
Although the portions were quite small, we had plenty to eat and would definitely recommend it.
The service from doorman to waiter was amongst the best ever, helping create the right ambience.
The table service was attentive yet knew when to disappear...:-)
Food was ok and great in parts
Great service, slightly better than average food, ok atmosphere considering the place is massive and largely empty.
Service was good and friendly - food was good but came looking a bit ‘baked’ and not fresh looking - great decor and very friendly staff - good value
The best for the new year in London
A delight. Wonderful service, delicious food, good variety in the menu, unpretentious and beautifully decorated. A pearl.
In a very nice location, it is a shame the food was over salted, over priced for extremely small portions.
Good menu in a comfortable setting with reasonable prices for central London. What more do you want from a restaurant.
The food was great - walnut ravioli was really very good.
The wine list is a bit pricy and the food is perhaps a bit on the expensive end of the spectrum. But good space in a new building and welcome addition to the neighbourhood.
Menu was ok. Not much to choose from! But food was amazing and the staff were so lovely. The restaurant itself is also lovely, it was quiet though as a Tuesday evening. Would definitely return!
I never really complain about restaurants unless it’s really bad and this was HORRIBLE. Sat us 15 mins after our reservation time which normally is not a big deal but then it took 10 mins and me going to the check in desk to get menus. After an hour our first round of drinks came and we were still missing one. It took us asking 3 more times to get the last drink. Another hour goes by and our foods comes half missing. My pasta which I said no meat and told them specifically was a vegetarian had meat on it. 15 mins later they brought a new pasta and it was watery and terrible.
I love this place as its my local, the food is fantastic, even when its not quite what you ordered. The service has become very slow and the staff are not trained well. The manager seems on it but twice in the last 10 days I have been and we have had to wait a long time to get drinks, order, and the main course takes while..... we had to ask is it coming on both visits. I hope they get this situation fixed as I love the venue and the food. Staff really do make or break a restaurant!
An artistic atmosphere which doesn’t intrude on your conversation. It was just what I was looking for. The food was perfect in terms of texture and flavour.
The mushroom risotto was too salty
The food was nice enough but came very slowly, even though the restaurant wasn't busy. Value for money is poor, it's very expensive for what it is really some fairly good Italian cooking with unnecessarily fancy service.
Nice place .. Great food .. friendly staff.
Great dining experience. Would have scored higher but for the music. Why do you feel it necessary to have background noise. It serves no purpose whatsoever and is irritating. The ambience of diners chatting id enough to give restaurant atmosphere. TURN IT OFF!
The ambiance was lovely and the service excellent.
It is a limiting menu so we would not rush back unless there was another main dish fish eg salmon etc
Also there is no soup in the evening menu so again something that is I think v necessary and also missing!— badly! So we would only come back if these things were rectified
Great food taste wise and visually. Excellent service as well
Terrible experience with the food and the service. The staff seems unaware of how to work in a restaurant, as specific details of our order (no cheese) was not followed; once the main courses arrived they delivered us some else’s order and the quality of the food is not conmeaurante to the price tag. I will never go back and after a two weeks stay in London, this was my only bad experience.
The food was fab but service was average and the menu options aren’t at all clear in terms of what is available when
Delicious food, fabulous restaurant design. Service excellent. We’ll be back.
we waited over 45 minutes for the main course, the waiter thought its funny!
and up leaving the place. for the price they charge i expected some thing else.
Very caring staff
The place is really beautiful and I loved the environment. Starters were exceptional, but the cooked food was poor. I ordered a cacio and pepe, when it arrived it looked like a carbonara, very creamy and it was way too salty. It's a pity as this place has huge potential, but as an Italian I would not go back.
Friendly staff and amazing food would highly recommend the tuna tartare and the ambiance was very unusual in a good way- highly recommend this place and has gone to the top of my list of favourite places
Food really took a while to arrive and one person from the group had to wait for extra 5 mins or so. Everyone being a polite person waited for that to happen before digging in and thus everyone’s food wasn’t as hot as it could’ve and should’ve been
Great venue - great service and food
A beautiful place to enjoy delicious foods with great wine and company. It ticked all my boxes. Food was delicious, very generous serving sizes. The service was impeccable, staff very friendly.
Perfect for a special occassion.
A must if you appreciate gorgeous interiors, decor and a nice ambience.
I would highly recommend to anyone interested.
First choice restaurant in London
Been multiple times with friends/ family
Lovely restaurant, serious tasty food - full of flavour - and outstanding cocktails. Staff were friendly and service was prompt. Weekend bottomless drinks also a great deal and a nice bonus to a daytime meal.
A beautiful place! Enjoyed the food, the atmosphere everything! They even had my very special drink and amazing gluten free pasta. Special food for all hours
Food was good, nice menu, service was terrible, very few tables booked but staff appeared to forget we were there. Took a few minutes to get noticed even though 3-4 staff walked past us. Only several disshes appealed to my guest, one of which was off the menu. nice interesting decor and food available was great but this needs to step up its game if its going to be here in a year.
Sadly nothing special . Pasta dishes were tepid and lacked flavour . Wine was really expensive . I had cheesecake which was really poor. I was surprised it was so busy .
Sorry I won’t be going back .
Great space, ok food, worst service I’ve ever experienced
Excellent food, but the service is painfully slow.
Mediocre food. Overpriced for the quality served.
Our local, good as usual, welcoming, unobstrusive service and their risotto is the high point as far as I’m concerned, sea bass for my husband, yum
